Staying up all night,
seeing the sun fade.

A dry summer day is about to turn.

The sky becomes a dormant pitch black.
The birds fly away in a hurry from the darkening clouds.

Quick yellow lightning splashes the clouds silently.
Monstrous thunder shakes the skies.
One second dark, one second the world is lit
on fire as if it were a bright summer day.

Raging rain pours onto the land,
raining like it were the age of dinosaurs.

Then, silence.

The birds come out singing, but the rain
returns, muffling the morning tunes.
It stops, and the black sky surrenders to the blue.
