"Boy, I didn't realize how late it was. I have to get home, G." Lily says after spending  the rest of the day with Georgie helping her with the puppies. "Oh jeez it's almost midnight. Your mom is going to kill me for having you out so late on a day before  a test." Georgie says to herself as she finishes feeding one of the puppies. "It's fine she's still at work. She won't know. Anyways, I'll see you at one tomorrow." Lily calls out before leaving Georgie who sighs, This was going to be a long night. 

After a few minutes of just sitting there Georgie sighs getting up, "If you're going to stay here. I guess I better get you guys set up with this bed for you have a place to sleep. Georgie says taking the bed out of the bag that was hidden under the bed as that was the only place her parents wouldn't look. And quickly pops it up and puts it far enough under her bed. Where her parents wouldn't see it. "Alright puppies I'm going to put you in your bed. Whimper if you need anything." Georgie says as she puts the puppies in their bed. Which was alright for all of two seconds because the two puppies instantly started whimpering not liking the dark place. Georgie just sighs not knowing where else to put them. "Shh, it's okay, puppies, it's just a little dark." Georgie tries to reassure but to no avail. 

Georgie groans knowing her parents could be home any moment. "Alright, alright, come here." Georgie says as she grabs the puppies hiding them under her covers. She then grabs her headphones that she used all the time. "Alright pup's please go to sleep now. Georgie says noticing that both puppies were already asleep so she puts an alarm on her phone for an hour and tries to sleep herself.

Georgie woke up to her alarm blaring in her ear phones and two puppies whimpering. "She groaned noticing it was and went to feed the puppies again. "Alright, we're going to have to drink formula cold. I can't risk mom and dad waking up and asking me about the puppy bottle." Georgie told the puppy, grabbing some bottled water, and throwing the formula in it. She shook both bottles up and then looked at the puppies grabbing the tiniest one first and feeding her. She then burped and relieved her. She then looked to the bigger one doing the same thing again. Before putting them back under the covers both puppies start whimpering again. "What's wrong?" Georgie asks in confusion as she didn't know what else they could possibly want. That's when she looked through the bag Lily got, and found a green dragon blanket and a pink dog blanket which she picked up.

 She put the blankets around the puppies as she found another toy that was supposed to feel like their mother with a heart beat and heat. She also put that with them. Which seemed to calm them down thankfully. After about thirty minutes the puppies were up again whining Georgie just sighs, this was going to be a longer harder night then she expected. That's when her phone rang and she just looked at it. Who would be calling this late at night? "Hello?"  Georgie says questioningly, "Hey, Georgie it's Ethan Lily's acting partner, and um I work at the pet shop. I wanted to know how you two were doing taking care of those puppies." Ethan says as Georgie groans.

 "Ethan it's literally almost two in the morning and I really don't feel up to this since I have to do the first night all by myself." Georgie says as Ethan chuckles. "Don't worry Georgie you'll get the hang of it. Let me tell you it won't be the last night you're up this late." Ethan says as Georgie nods, "Yeah I know, but I swear tomorrow Lily gets to do it all night because by then I'll be ready to collapse in exhaustion. This was harder than I thought. Especially since my parents can't know." Georgie says as the other line goes silent. "Wait Georgie you're hiding this from your parents?!" Ethan asks in disbelief as that was the dumbest plan in the history of plans."Yeah, because they'll take them away, and then they're doomed." Georgie explains her reasoning behind all this as she hated going behind her parents back, but if it meant protecting the puppies and keeping her promise to the mother dog she was willing to, as she could really use some puppy love in her life.

"Alright, well I better get going, my dad will get me if he figures out I'm up this late. Listen, you and Lily meet me at the pet store tomorrow. I want to help you two with this to the best of my ability." Ethan says as Georgie nods, "Alright Ethan thank you, and good night Georgie says as the puppies start whimpering for more miles as Georgie sighs repeating the process for the third time that night. She couldn't wait until tomorrow when Lily could finally help her with all this, as it was a lot of work for one person to do, especially since it was two puppies instead of just one. "Okay you two please go back to bed now." Georgie says as she wanted another hour asleep. The puppies didn't comply though as they started whimpering again Georgie sighs, as she realized they dropped the dog that was supposed to feel like their mother. She then picks it up and places the toy beside them.

"You're mother's gone now, you'll need to get used to this stuffed animal." Georgie says sadly a flashback of what she had to do earlier that day as it was pretty scary looking back at Georgeie sighs looking at the two puppies, *Would you like me to sing you a lullaby?" Georgie asks as the puppy nods as Georgie sighs, she wasn't the best singer, but if it got her an hour's rest she was willing to do it. As the morning hours continued on, Georgie had to get up about every hour or half hour depending on the puppies. It was a long night and there would be many more like it.
