You are sitting down and maintaining your new weapons.

"They should come in handy if things go out of hand," you said to yourself.

After maintenance, you walked around the ship, leading you to Faye's empty room.

"She better not have gotten herself killed," you thought to yourself.

Just then, you received a call from the smuggler.

"You have a job for me?"

Smuggler: "No, but I have something that might interest you."

He pulled up an image of Faye being escorted by a group of thugs.

Smuggler: "Are you interested in checking up on her? She's at the Spiders From Mars casino. You can earn some quick cash while there, just try not to win too much and they won't kick you out."After hanging up, you went straight for the casino.

With your helmet, you entered it without being spotted, noticing all the customers socializing and gambling their money away.

"What has Faye gotten into?!" you thought.

Deciding to look for her later, you try your luck at a slot machine and hit a jackpot of 200 thousand Woolongs. You then decide to try a game of blackjack and sit down at the table.

You then look at the dealer and see that it's Faye, but kept quiet. Faye saw you, but didn't recognize you since you're wearing a helmet.

You lost a round but made damn sure that you didn't blow all your earnings. There was still enough to play a bit of blackjack, so you went to the nearest table.

On the way, you noticed someone headed towards Faye's path.

"I demand a chip!" the person shouted.

Faye: "I don't know what you're talking about."

The person quickly pulled out his gun, and you threw a smoke bomb just as quickly, grabbed Faye, and made a run for it. Faye then pulled out a remote to pilot her Zipcraft Red Tail and you flew away from that casino as fast as humanly possible.

Faye: "Who are you?"

You took off your helmet.

Faye: "It's surprising seeing you here. Did you miss me?"

"Oh, shut up and just take us to the gates."

You reached your ship safely.

"So, what happened when we split?"

Faye: "I was cornered by the thugs of some criminal named Gordon who offered to pay off my debt if I helped him in an illegal business transaction involving a hidden microchip."

"What chip?"

Faye: "Some guy had this microchip but never showed."

"Well, we gotta go before they see ME with you," you said as you flew out immediately.

The thug noticed the ship flying off and began to attack you.

Faye shouted "I'll take care of them!" and ran out to her Red Tail.

After a firefight that resulted in the thug's ship in disrepair, Faye returns to the ship and drops herself onto the couch.

Faye: "That was one hell of a day."

The smuggler called you up.

Smuggler: "How was your day?"

"Things escalated quickly," you responded.

Faye: "That stupid contractor never showed."

"Shut up, bitch!"

Smuggler: "That's a bummer. I got somethin' for ya."

He pulled out a chip from his pocket.

Smuggler: "One of my clients tied to weasel himself out of a deal, so I ended his life."

Faye: "Who did you get that from???"

Da Smuggler pulled out a picture.

Faye: "You were the one who was supposed to give me the microchip!"

She facepalms herself, fell back onto the couch, and groaned in frustration.

Smuggler: "What kinda drugs you on, Miss?"

"You'll have to excuse my partner over here," you said. "She's rather... uh..."

Da Smuggler threw you the chip.

"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" you asked Faye.

Faye: "I've already been in enough trouble cause of that chip."

"Suit yourself."

You went to another casino with the chip in hand.
