Am closer to the library as I held the door hoping he is not inside, after taking a deep breath I open the door, to behold what was inside.

   It been long I step my foot in dad study room, I avoided this place because of the memories it brought to me.

 I  Did not just avoid because of the sad memories it was also because of the promises I made to dad before he left us.

 
    " Is this your dad study room "

  " What da heck, you scared me to hell " I said as I turn around to notice that it was Jake voice I just heard.

    Wait a minute  did you just appear from no where." I asked him cause I did not see him coming out of this room.

   " Don't tell me your a witch " I asked again with a curious eyes.

   " You watch too many movies, off course am not a witch, and what will I be doing in your dad study room." He answered with a smirk on his face.

   " So where the hell  are you coming out from" I asked a little baffled.

   " Look over there " he said pointing towards a direction that leads to the garden.

   " The garden......" I asked.

   " Yes the garden, a while ago when you were having a discussion with your mom I saw your cute dog and I decided to play with it, to kill time but unfortunately she doesn't like stranger's like you, and she ran towards this direction, I followed and we landed in the garden." He explained and he was right cause immediately he finished his statement  I saw Luna lipping towards me.

    " Luna what is wrong with you ".

   " Oh you named her Luna , such a cute name.
    I forgot to mention that she feel into a hole and got a scratch.

    " What Luna is injured. Mom ....mom I shouted for my mom until I heard her answer.

  " What Happened, have you seen Jake."

   " Yes mom I did but something is wrong with Luna."

   " Luna is she sick or something" mom said as she ran faster to where I was.

   " Don't worry Rachel I will take good care of Luna, let me take her to the hospital, you take care of your friend okay,". Mom said and I could only nod.

    I don't one to argue with mom about joining her to the hospital cause Jake is around and it will not be fitting if we let him stay home alone.

  "Okay mom but to forget to send me every information about her health condition, I want to know everything, am so sorry Luna ." I told Mom as I handed over Luna to her.

  She looks so cute and adorable I wonder why she had to get inquired.

   " Don't worry about her Rachel I know how much you love Luna since you where a kid, I will make sure I bring her back to you safe and sound okay.

  " Okay mom, please be careful" I told her as I bid her farewell.

" So what are you going to eat " I asked Jake as we sat down on the dinning table after mom left.

     " I don't know but something eatable will be okay" he responded.

    " What do you mean by something eatable, so was I going to offer you some herbs or what ".

    " Chill Rachel I did not mean to upset you, okay I think I will go with Chinese Noddles.

   " Chinese Noddles, who orders for that" I asked him a little surprised.

   " I will he responded".

   " Okay why first of all this is America, you should ask for American dishes."

   " Oh I haven't mentioned to you am actually half, am also from the Asian country, my mom is actually a Chinese woman.

    You know the Chinese restaurant close to the bus stop, no one knows but my mom is the one running it.

   " What you mean it, that place is way too expensive, when I was in college I also wanted to eat there."
I blurted out the truth.

   " Really, what if I promise to take you there, any day we both are less busy" he said with a big smile, all I could was just to nod.

   I felt really excited as I heard him mentioning the restaurant back then in college I never got a chance to tell Raymond about the Chinese restaurant.

  Cause Everytime we decide to go on a date, he always decide where we should go, I never got a chance to speak, but still I was also happy accompanying him to his favorite places.

   " So that means we will go on a date right" .

   " Come on Jake, you can't call that a date, it just a friendly dinner together" I told him blushing, I don't know why I blushed and still it not something to think about.

   " You can call it whatever you think you can call, I won't stop you and you can't stop me from Calling it a date my lady." He said as he  took up from his sit and courtesy.

   " Oh my gosh, you have to stop that or we are going to starve."

   " So sorry, am already hungry you can't starve me."

   " Don't tell me you came over to my house just to eat." I asked.

   " Okay I won't tell you " he responded sarcastically.

    " You jerk " I said as I took a tea spoon and aim towards his direction, and with his manly speed he dotch and the spoon went another direction.

    " I surrender miss " he said as he lifted his two hands up in the air and it reminded me of those days.

    When we will play a game called 'hide  and seek '.
   I just as I recall those days of naiveness.

   " What why are you smiling, do I like that funny" he said a little surprised.

  " Yes off course you like a clown." I told him the truth.

   " You ....." He stammered.

   " Okay it enough, you can bring up another distraction, your Chinese Noddles is ready, I search the internet for recipes, I know it won't be as tasty as your mom's own , but I will do better in the future.' I gave him the Noddles as we sat together and ate.
