RACHEL POV.

     
I began shivering immediately I saw him enter the conference room.

    Different thoughts ran through my mind.

  " Can we start now " I heard him echo.

      " Yes we can start, go on young lady".the man I thought was the boss spoke.

   I cleared my throat silently, inhaling and enhaling to gain back my confidence.

   I started the conversation and so on.

I continue with my presentation and finally it came to an end.

   " So that is all we have for now, and don't worry more Will be added and the construction will be perfect." I said as I ended my speech.

    And the all applaud except for my boss, is he that rude that he can not notice my hard work.
    " Rachel  your going to have a hard time pleasing your boss" I murmured.

" Thanks for coming we will meet again on the construction site " he finally spoke up.

  But still he wasn't speaking to me but the Japanese investors.

   Jake had already gisted me about the Japanese, their likes and dislike so it wasn't something that will be too difficult to please them.

  " Thank you Jake,you deserve a treat,I will definitely treat you for lunch ".

   I watched them go out one by one, bringing back memories of one I was in pre School, that we had to sing songs and match to class, silly memories.

  " What are you thinking about".

  " Hey you "

  " Yes you , come to my office now".

" Yes  sir I mean boss sir".

   I followed him like his puppy as we entered his office.

  " Closed the door"he told me as I did

This is the the first time coming into his office, and to be sincere his office well decorated like a cool blooded being.

    I glare at the grey colour curtain which prevented sunlight from penetrating in.

   " If your done glaring, can you take a sit." He said coldly.

  " I just obeyed like a little lamb been ordered by his Shepard.

   " Here is the file, make  sure you read the file properly before signing it.
     And this one is for the construction site, keep me in touch with all the necessary documents or changes.

   That's all you can leave now " he said more like an order.

   No need to think it through, or ask him why he is so rude, anyways he is my so call boss and bosses need to be respected.

    I looked through my watch and it was just five minutes to our lunch break.
          I need to leave now if I want to meet up with Jake.

  " I will take my leave now " I said as I looked at him glaring through the papers on his table.

   I waited for his reply but it seems I was going to die waiting for that  reply of his, so I just left  opened the door went out and bounce it back.

NELSON POV

   
     " It keeps taunting me in, why I had to return back here, memories of the past keeps showing up anytime I get to close my eyes.

  It over five years now but if coming fresh as if the tragic event just happened yesterday.

   But I thought everything thing will be fine when once I come back ,but it seems I was wrong, right inside of me I know I can never get rid of the pains.

  But I have to, nothing can stop me from achieving my goals, I need to do this if I need another life of survival.

    Heavens knows what beholds us, dad is in the hospital and I need to take charge for the mean time.

   I heard a knock on the door, which took me out of my world of thought.

   I lifted my eyes up thinking it was my personal assistant.

  " May I come in sir, oh yeah it was Minna.

   " Sir your lunch" she stammers

  " Place it over  there, I pointed towards my well furnished dinning table."

    She did as I told her.

  " Minna call me my PA, let her know I want to see her immediately.

    " Sir she's on her lunch break with Jake in the cafeteria".

  "  Jake?????" I asked again

  " Yes sir Jake " she reply.

  " Okay you can go now, if she's down with whatever she's doing make sure she's aware of my call ".

   " Yes sir" she said as she walked out.

   " Of all people Jake."

  RACHEL POV

     " I really appreciate your help Jake, and also I sincerely apologise for not showing up that day, I will definitely make it up to you.

       " Wait I need to record what you just said, can you please say it one more time. " Jake Said.

   " Your so weird okay I will repeat what I just said so you can keep it in record.
         Okay i repeat the good idea you gave to me, and also helping me out with my rude boss in the conference, so I promise to pay it back by going out with you whenever and wherever you feel like going out, this is a promise from your friend Rachel," I said pledging.

  " That's more like it, now you are forgiven, now can we enjoy our lunch as for tomorrow I will treat you next time bills on me." Jake said.

     " So how is Luna faring".

  " Oh yes she's getting better, thanks for your help." I said as I turned to look at him.

    " You don't need to thank me aren't we friends, friends help each other's out okay". Jake said.

   " Okay friends we are, and i hope one day I can return the favours.
  
   " Yes I hope so".
 
   ( Cough sounds from Jake )

  " You need to be careful here take some water, let me Patt your back it really helps.

Okay inhale softly you be alright " I told Jake.

    " Excuse me, boss wants to see you after the lunch, no excuses he said." An elegant lady, fair in complexion, hair color black, tall , eyes colour brown."

  " Wow so rude, she didn't even give me a chance to thank her, she just delivers the message and zoom she goes, is that how everyone behaves here.".I asked Jake.

" She's Minna the receptionist, she is a bit rude if she doesn't like you, but don't take her to heart, just finished your lunch.
    You need to go see you arrogant boss".
