I know You all aren’t liking this current track of Arnav & Khushi but I would say please be a little patient as I have planned something for both Arnav & Khushi. Behind Arnav’s accident I had planned something so I would ask you to please trust me and I really hope you all will like this story. Please do give your valuable response to this story.

Chapter No # 7

“Hospital III”

In General Toronto Hospital and Research Center
In Locker Room
After a bold & confident reply Khushi Saniyal gave to certain Arnav Singh Raichand, she reached the Locker room of the Physiotherapist’s Room. Surprisingly she didn’t feel guilty about how she replied to Him in fact She was feeling lightheaded. Earlier Dr. Abhay Rogers who holds a reputable position in the Hospital where She works as Physiotherapist and secondly she is aware how much Arnav means to Fantastic Rs & vice versa. After Dr. Abhay Rogers had told her about her new Job to treat Arnav His best friend “Nav” at first she was stunned & shocked didn’t knew how she should respond to this order which has a hint of plea, his tone and his words were simply requesting her. By listening to Dr. Abhay Rogers’s word she simply astounded didn’t knew how can she would be considered so much worthy in Abhay’s eyes when She is well aware how Arnav thinks of her and just by looking how Fantastic Rs had never took her side so they also think about same as of her as Arnav so Abhay asking her to treat His best friend came as a shock for her. She wanted to refused at first knowing things between Her and Fantastic Rs who are Arnav’s family are already complicated due to Arnav’s lack of interest in her then by becoming Arnav’s Physiotherapist things would be more difficult for her. Thinking of Pros and Cons she had almost refused to Dr. Abhay Rogers that She doesn’t consider herself as worthy of treating him plus in real she doesn’t want to come close to him knowing how much he felt disgusted by her mere presence and top of that their Relation had always been based on few sets of Paper and now their Relation is about to end, a Sign was all needed to end the Relation. Their Contractual Marriage was all based on Sign. Their Signatures bounded them in Contractual Marriage and once again a Sign was all needed to separate their ways from each other forever. Though Arnav did Signed but only His Heart knew how painful it was to and was still paining. He was secretly hoping and expecting from Khushi that instead of signing the papers she should confront him. But atlas.

Now Khushi who was unaware of Arnav’s real feelings and had finally enough of taken as granted wanted to permanently separate her ways from him it was not because of she is now not in Love with him anymore but it was because she is too much in Love with him but her will-power of enduring Bitterness from Arnav has completely ended. She had been broken from inside and now she doesn’t have any wish of reconciliation with him but little she knew, if she given in right now then her present would be not good but it would be definitely better than past and her future would be best. If only she give in right now.

She thought lying to Abhay would make her at ease but no, as Abhay understands His best friend “Nav” very well so he understands Khushi’s plight too. At this moment seeing emptiness in Khushi’s eyes makes him smack at Arnav. Because of Arnav’s idiotic demands which made Fantastic Rs stayed away from Khushi and moreover they knew, Arnav wouldn’t like their friendship with Khushi so they maintained silence. It was their fault that they couldn’t do anything earlier. Maybe they were too preoccupied or the time wasn’t correct. But now it seems now it’s the best time to bring these 2 idiots close.

Khushi thought as Dr. Abhay Rogers doesn’t like her or completely knows what kind of relationship she shares with his best friend or whatever reason, he would understand her but instead of understanding her, he give her 2 days time to ponder upon it with a clear hint if she agrees to treat Arnav then their distances will be minimized as they will be getting lots of time to know each other better which they previously failed to do so but Khushi being Khushi clearly missed the Hint. And now 2 days went on her thinking session and now she finally realized the meaning what Her Friend “Samrat Sehgal” had told her that “We shouldn’t mix our Personal & Professional Life”. And now when She doesn’t consider Arnav Singh Raichand as a part of her Personal life so why she is refusing to treat him. It’s basically a Professional thing. Thus she decided, it will be Dr. Khushi Saniyal who is going to treat the VVIP Patient, name by Arnav Singh Raichand not the other way round.

So after thinking, She decided to let the Patient himself know about his thoughts on this. As it’s a two way street. To treat him, he should be ready as well or else Her efforts will all go down the drain and she is not useless to waste Her energy and time on that. So after reaching the VVIP ICU Room, she walked in with a heavy heart and sees Arnav who once was Her Love or is still her love in a half-sitting position on the hospital bed. Several machines, drains & tubes were attached to his weak body, made her eyes teary and made her heart more heavy and suddenly she thought of having another option of his treatment and how will she ever treat him when she is not able to see him like this. No matter how much she made her heart & Mind strong that Arnav Singh Raichand doesn’t matter to her but just one glance at him and her all efforts went down the hill. Next she had a conversation with him and like as usual the every word which escapes from his Mouth broke her. Still being hurt by him, she maintained her strong face and decided to do for which she had come here and that was to sign a “Consent Form” which explains he in his full consciousness is willing to accept the Physiotherapy treatment by Dr. Khushi Saniyal. After giving him Consent form, set of papers she walked out of the Room Holding her high position. Just a few days ago, it was Him who threw signed Divorce Papers at her which would change their Life and now She gave him a Set of Papers which would change their Equation off-course but how in what way that was left to understand.

Now, sitting in the Physiotherapist’s Locker Room idly. She was thinking that how her Life has come to this stage. She was never like this ever. She was never a Person who would compromise a little bit on her Self-Respect. Whether it was School or College, She had always held her Head high. She was a Scholarship girl and Topper of the School and as well as Good Medalist in Her O & A-Levels. She had always helped her class fellows, Friends but never let anyone demean her or make fun of her. Even when her group was bullied or ragged on the first day of College, she had fought with her seniors verbally & through actions for which she had to be suspended for a day but she didn’t care as it was a matter of her Self-Respect. She had never ever given anyone an opportunity to demean her or makes fun of her self-respect. She was an ambitious Girl. Her goal and her strong, fierce & fighting spirit makes everyone like her. And cherry on top, even with braces and few pimples here & there on Face, still she was gorgeous without any makeup. Even after her strong personality, still she was a kind & caring girl with a heart of gold who couldn’t see a single tear in anyone’s eyes. At that age she was a strong volunteer in an NGO.

She had colourful life in her School & College. Her fierce & fighting spirit made her Identity and now what she has become, she could no longer acknowledge herself as the same person which she was Years ago. From the time, a certain person had came in her Life she was changed. If She was the older version of Khushi Saniyal instead of New Version or Khushi Saniyal 2.0 then she would have beat the hell out of Arnav Singh Raichand when for the first time she had listened about him insulting her. Or she would have killed him when He proposed the idea of marrying her contractly. But nothing of such had ever happened. Since the time, Arnav Singh Raichand has stepped in her Life, She was changed, She had became a Lamb instead of Jungili Billi as her Bestest Friends “Sukaina” & “Warisha” named her. Earlier she was Jungili Billi who was always ready with her sharpened nails to fight and now she was nowhere the same person as she was used to be.

Truly said,

“Love Can Reduce To Anyone To Anything.”

In her case, She became Lamb or Rabbit. Her personality become weak. And she had nothing to do except hearing him insulting & humiliating her. Sometimes she wondered what has happened to her? She was never like this then how she deduced herself to nothing like this. For her always Self-Respect mattered then why now she is neglecting her same self-respect. And then answer appeared in her mind, “In Relationships, Self-Respect doesn’t matters, what matters is actually Love & Care.” But in this Relationship there is no Care and certainly not Love.

She was sitting idly in Physiotherapy Locker Room till when no one knew. And suddenly she remembered Her Past, from where it all started.

In VVIP ICU Room
After Khushi left the room, Arnav was lost in deep conversation between Mind & Heart and both of them were having different ideologies. And in all this, his Mind didn’t forgot minute details of His body in these past days. If Khushi hasn’t mentioned about hiring her as his Physiotherapist so he wouldn’t ponder about his body. And now he was thinking deeply about Abhay’s weird actions as well as his Fantastic Rs. His inability to move his limbs. As per Abhay said, he had been induced medication so that for time-being he couldn’t move his limbs so that he can have plenty of rest but doesn’t this work with his left hand. Or Abhay is lieing to him about his body. Lieing to him that Accident has really caused him so much. Whatever might be the possibility, he concluded that indeed Abhay is lieing about his health and he need to know if he is in good health then why Khushi was hired as his Physiotherapist. He rang the bell and seeing Nurse coming towards him in hurry to know what he wants. But he told her about wanting to have a meeting with Dr. Abhay Rogers. He didn’t mentioned Abhay’s nickname “Hi” as he always does. His tone and his words told the Nurse how serious he is. Fearingly Nurse nodded and walked from there to pass on the message Dr. Abhay.

Soon after few hours later, Abhay came to VVIP ICU Room with Fantastic Rs while holding a File of Arnav’s latest medical reports. Earlier alfter successful surgery, when Abhay was sitting in His Cabin, same Nurse who was monitoring Arnav had came to him and spoke exact words which Arnav spoke to her. At that point, Abhay although was scared of outcomes but he knew this matter can not be delayed anymore. So with Fantastic Rs he decided that now they need to clear the Air.

And now, Fantastic Rs are in VVIP ICU Room and seeing serious expressions on Arnav’s face they realized he might have figured out about his health. Whereas Arnav had clearly seen the worried expressions on Fantastic Rs face and he knew his assumptions about his health is not wrong. Maintaining serious expressions, he directly questioned Dr. Abhay Rogers not his best friend “Hi” without beating any bush around.

“So my dear Dr. Abhay Rogers will you finally bless me to let me know about my own health?”

Hearing Arnav’s sarcastic tone, Abhay gulped then looking back at Fantastic Rs who nodded their eyes at him letting him know they are with him. Abhay accepting their gesture, he closed his eyes and took a huge gulp of breath before saying.

“Nav (nickname of Arnav) by know you might have concluded that accident of yours was too… ummm. Well it was a miracle that you were saved thanks to the advance technology or by now we could have lost you.”

Saying this he paused and the information provided by Abhay, well Arnav was well-aware of it but he didn’t interrupt. Then.

“Nav (nickname of Arnav) the thing is you got saved and was rescued in nick of time. But the impact of the accident on you was ummm dangerous. When you were shifted to ICU from an emergency room, the main goal was to save you as your condition was very critical. We were on our toes looking after you, treating you so that somehow you wouldn’t be critical but all of our efforts were wasted we lost you. But then you came back to life soon after it. At that time, we couldn’t think of taking you to Radioactive imaging Ray’s room as your condition was already so critical. But me and Dr. Richard have some idea but that was not our priority at that time, saving you at that time was our major concern”

“When your condition stabilized we took you to for Scans and several tests were performed on you and that clear our assumptions about you was right. That this Accident…”

Arnav heard every words which Abhay spoke and he knew how difficult it has been for Abhay to treat him. He has seen him successfully operating on his patients and treating then with ease but when it comes to his Fantastic Rs how nervous he has always been. And now when he was dangling between life & death how difficult it would have been for him. And how Abhay was trying to let him know about his health told him, he joined dots and eventually realized something. Before Abhay could tell him. He interrupted.

“Hi (nickname of Abhay) what you spoke earlier about inducing drug was lie. Right? Truth is the accident caused me to lose my ability to move. In short the Accident had made me PARALYZED. Right?”

As soon as Arnav spoke Interrupting Abhay, Abhay as well as Fantastic Rs eyes got teary. And Abhay’s lips started to tremble. Seeing Abhay’s condition, Arnav chuckled slightly.

“You should be happy that I am alive not dead yet. And we know that sooner or later I will be back on my toes. And would be back to as ASR. So till then I will consider it as I am on leaves.”

Arnav through his words made Fantastic Rs feel less worried about him. But they knew Arnav was reacting like this only for them and they were worried for him. It was vice versa. They thought about him and he thought about them. But it was crystal clear that this discovery had made his heart broken and he needed shoulders to cry on. So without any seconds Fantastic Rs including Abhay came close to him and pass their shoulders to him to cry him. For starters he pretended to be strong and punched them lightly with his left hand but Fantastic Rs didn’t relent and soon the ICU Room witnessed cries of Arnav. Today he cried for each and every thing. As today he couldn’t hold himself back anymore. Earlier he only cried in the shadows for distancing himself with Khushi, hurting her and breaking her. And now he cried with his Family aka Fantastic Rs. Fantastic Rs’s eyes were not dry either. Their eyes were wet with tears. 

Long after a devastating moment, finally Arnav felt relaxed pouring his heart out so were Fantastic Rs. Then Arnav asked.

“Hi (nickname of Abhay) if I am paralyzed then how am I able to move my left hand?”

Arnav’s question made Abhay reply and he told about the Anatomy and Physiology of nerves innervation and also told him that he can not predict when he will be back on his toes before that CERTAIN DATE. To which Arnav nodded and then asked why he hired Khushi as his Physiotherapist when he very well knew how much he tried to distanced with her. This made Abhay angry as so much happened still he was thinking stupidly.

“Enough yaar buddy. It’s enough. You have done so much to that poor soul but still she wants to help you. She thinks she can fool us by saying it’s her job as she had finally understood how important it is to keep personal and professional life separate. She thought she had fooled us but we knew why she was hesitant and why she wanted to go through Paperwork to treat her own Husband. That’s because you finally managed to deduce her worth.”

“Buddy come out of your assumptions thinking of pros and cons.”

“Have you ever given a thought about from Khushi’s point of view. Because of your ill logics you are going to lose her. But I won’t let that happen. Do you know when you were unconscious and when you fought with your death, there was only one name on your lips that was Khushi’s name.”

“Accept it You Love her so much that she was on your mind when you were unconscious and you fought for death only for her. Accept it. Be a Man.”

Saying this, Abhay had almost managed to make him confess, but the thick soul of Arnav hasn’t accepted yet. And he was silent, neither confessed nor denied. And this made Abhay more angry but then thinking carefully he spoke.

“Fine then. If you continue to remain stubborn then I am also your buddy. I am stubborn too. If you think You don’t feel anything for Khushi then Accept her as your Physiotherapist and if you don’t then it would mean only one thing that behind your NO it means she makes you feel something actually not something but makes you feel Love towards her. So accept the challenge Mr. Arnav Singh Raichand.”

Abhay’s words made Arnav gritted his teeth and he knew what Abhay meant. He would do what he thinks. He will accept the challenge or else Fantastic Rs’s doubt will not remain as doubt and they will keep on pressuring him more than the past and he feared what if someday he will bend. No… He has been sharing the same house with Khushi for the past 1 year so what difference will it make to him? Nothing right?

Arnav boldly accepted Abhay’s challenge of having Khushi as His Physiotherapist till the time he didn’t get cured. But little did he know that if He wanted to distance with Khushi then he shouldn’t have accepted the challenge. And little did he know this time after his discharge he wouldn’t be the same Arnav towards her as he was before because this time his heart would not let his mind overpower him.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Fantastic Rs knew very well what Abhay intends to do. And as Abhay thought, they too realized after Arnav accepted the challenge, he wouldn’t be same Arnav anymore. This time he will be changed. And that’s for what they were waiting for. A time for both Idiots meaning Arnav and Khushi to spend some time with each other. Both are stubborn so they definitely need time to understand everything, Khushi to understand after some Months Arnav wouldn’t be in control anymore, either at that time he would harm her physically or worship her. And for Arnav to understand the meaning of his Love, as he would needed this after Months when he wouldn’t remain as Human anymore. He would either be able to harm her or physically. If he loves her so much and understand the meaning the power of Love then he would be able to control the beast of him and worship Khushi as he always wanted to do. If not then he would harm her physically and might kill her that’s why Arnav beforehand is distancing away from her so that she would be save from him. But the time will only tell who is powerful on whom.

Arnav even though accepted the challenge but failed to realize that time has changed now. This Accident had made his heart more powerful on his mind. And if before Accident both Arnav Khushi hasn’t loved each other but now they will fall for each other more deeply. That’s the thing both Arnav Khushi failed to realize but Fantastic Rs has already realized and they were waiting for the time Arnav to accept His Love in his full sense. And they knew once that happened, no one will ever beat Arnav in showering His love on Khushi. 

Next, Fantastic Rs got themselves busy in spending their quality time and Christopher continued to pass silly jokes and comments on Manik totally making him Balli ka bakra. They were enjoying so much spending their quality of time that seeing them like this no one would think a few days before all were so depressed & shocked.

Then Raichand family too visited Arnav and alongwith Fantastic Rs they also didn’t left behind to spend some quality time. Right now in the ICU Room there were everyone except Khushi, as right now making excuses of having to visit other patients didn’t come with Raichands. All were there, but in the midst of everyone still Arnav felt very lonely because she isn’t there and he knew the reason very well. His heart ached like always seeing her absence but today his heart ached more. He didn’t know why. Another reason why he accepted the Abhay’s challenge so that through this he could steal some moments with her and it would help him to live his life later on without her being part of his life. 

Then he faked a yawn as needed some time alone. And this made everyone realize he was tired from sitting for a long time and decided to leave. Raichands went back to Mansion. Manik and Sophia stayed in Hospital while the rest of Fantastic Rs left the hospital. Abhay decided to stay tonight as well but Fantastic Rs made him leave as he has been constantly living in the Hospital since Arnav has been admitted.

All left the hospital and Manik & Sophia left the Room to wait in the waiting lounge as Arnav requested them to leave as he is exhausted with everyone and want to remain some time alone. So agreeing to it, they nodded not before making him eat dinner and also told him that tomorrow Morning Khushi will start visiting him as his Physiotherapist to which Arnav nodded.

Finally all left, and Arnav heaved a sigh of relief and let small tears escape from his eyes. He had never thought a day would come like this when he would have to compromise more and more. Accepting his future which might not be easy is difficult but still he is trying and for that he has indulged himself in various activities. Year ago, before his marriage to Khushi and more earlier when he had again met her after his so-called Cousin Akash’s marriage. At that time when he hadn’t met Khushi again so he had completely ruined himself there was not any worse habit left for him to not to do. He had done everything, involving himself in fights, drugs, girls etc etc. But since he got married to Khushi, he hasn’t touched any girl. But he continued to make his mother think, that after marrying Khushi he hasn’t changed his ways yet. Before while intimating, he didn’t let any girl touch him because still after them being virgin he didn’t let those dirty hands touch him. He wouldn’t make their s*x pleasurable. But forced his monstrous on them to release his stress. He had always chose virgins but still he was careful enough so before intimating with them he had made those girls to go several tests to detect if they had any disease or not. After checking it still he would use protections. Well that was in Past before he had not met Khushi again. Once he had again met Khushi, unknowingly he started to feel something for her again but was relented to acknowledged it and unknowingly he stopped having one-night stands. Then as fate plays he got married to her. Even though he would go to clubs/Pubs almost daily but for her or because of her he wouldn’t let any girl touch him or let himself touch any girl and dance with them. Same case with Melissa and Sophia because accept or not his Love for her, he will let only her to touch him and he will touch her. 

As everyone was gone, he closed his eyes and remembered the time when Years ago he had come to India for Akash’s wedding. At first he didn’t planned to visit India but due to Important meetings of a Million dollar tender held in Mumbai, so he visited India.

He wasn’t close to anyone except Fantastic Rs and Raichands family, but indirectly through Anjali he had known that Girl whom she talked a lot and who managed to stir his Strings of Heart is his cousin. So along with Meeting, he visited India to  find that Girl, so that he could propose her to date her then if things progressed Smoothly so he might propose her for marriage later.

While on the other hand from Hospital to Khushi’s new Apartment she begins to think about the Past that what she had thought and what had happened.
