Cory's POV

"We're going to the Green Place!" I heard Uni shouted. I leaned against the wall.

I had been listening the whole time, and I don't know what to feel about it.

"Isn't it... destroyed?" Chrisy asked. "Maybe, but it's worth a shot," Adam said. I sighed. I've seen it, it's destroyed... "Should we tell Cory?" Dawn asked. "Nah, it'll be a surprise!" Uni said. "That doesn't sound like a fun surprise," Chrisy said, sounding concerned. "Why is that?" Adam asked. "Have you seen it?" There was an awkward moment of silence. I thought it was a good time to walk in, so I did. "Hey guys," I said, pretending I heard nothing. "Oh, hey Cory," Dawn said. Chrisy waved, giving me a warm smile. "Oh, hey Dawn," Adam said. "Yes?" He asked. "The family file?" I asked. "Oh, I did find it," He said, doing some robotic noises. "And?" Uni asked. "Christina seems to be in it." "Really?" Adam asked. "Told you," I said, crossing my arms. Adam rolled his eyes and chuckled. "AHHHH!" I heard a familiar high pitched voice scream. "Nick?!" Chrisy shouted, looking at the direction the scream came from. I heard two gunshots, then silence. I slowly crept to the other side of the station. "What's over there?" Adam asked, taking out his gun. I lifted up my gun and continued. I saw a hole, leading down to darkness. "Who first?" Uni asked, looking down. "Him," Adam said, pushing me gently. "Alright, here we go." I jumped in. It wasn't a long fall, just a few feet. I touched ground, landing on my feet then falling over. "You okay?!" Uni shouted. "It's okay, come down!" I shouted up. "Okay, we're coming down," Chrisy shouted. I heard someone grunt, then jump. "Hey," Chrisy said, landing and then barrel rolling. "Where did you learn that?" I asked. "When you're with the Enclave for a long time, you learn some things." I chuckled. Then came Uni, Adam, and Dawn. "Where's Susan?" Chrisy asked. "Just leave that thing," Uni quickly said. Next thing you know, Susan comes jumping down. "Wow," Adam said, looking at Susan. "Nick?" Dawn asked, going a bit ahead. "~~one," I heard a voice say, sounding a bit ahead. "That's Nick!" Uni exclaimed. I nodded and said," Let's go." We started walking. I heard someone fall over." "Who fell?" I asked. "Me," Adam said. "What did you trip on?" Chrisy asked. "A... bat," He answered, grabbing the bat. "It must be Nick's," I said, looking at the bat. "Nick!" Chrisy shouted. "~~~up," A different voice said. "No, it can't be," Adam said. "Do you think it's, those ghouls," Uni said. "Who?" I asked. "It's a long story," Adam said, looking down. We continued walking. "I see some light ahead," Dawn said. "Better started talking," A croaky voice said. I put my finger on my lip and did a shh voice, especially so Susan. Susan did a tiny growl, then went quiet. I peeked around the corner and saw some ghouls, and Nick attached to a chair, all beat up. "Where are they?" One of them asked. "I *cough* don't know who you're talking *cough* about," Nick said weakly. "We have to help him," Chrisy whispered. I nodded, so did Uni, Adam, and Dawn. "But how?" Dawn asked. I looked around, examining the place. There were a lot of shadowy places, perfect for sneaking around in. There were also some crates stacked on each other, good for a shoot down. "I have a plan," I whispered. "Let's hear it," Adam whispered. "You see that area?" I asked, pointing to the shadowy area. "Yeah, why?" "You and Christina can go over there-"Can't we just get Susan to kill 'em?" Uni asked. "What if there are more ghouls?" Adam asked him. Uni nodded in defeat. "Me and Uni will go behind the crates. Dawn and Susan, you'll have to distract them, okay?" I said. Everyone nodded. Me and Uni crept to behind the crates, while Chrisy and Adam crept to the shadows. I nodded, signaling for Dawn and Susan to distract. "Hey, over here," Dawn said, trying to shout. "Hey! It's that robot fello," One of them said, I'm guessing the leader. Susan began to growl, very loud. "Now!" I shouted. Everyone jumped out of there places. "G-guys," Nick said, looking down, his hood off, showing his brown hair.. "Oh, how are you fellas?" The same one asked. (I don't know what that ferral ghouls name was, if you know, please comment it down) "Shut up you," Adam said, lifting up his gun. "Hold up, wait, who are these guys?" I asked, pointing my gun down. "Oh, seems Nick forgot us." Did they just call me Nick? Wait, the ghouls... "My name's Cory," I said, lifting my gun up. "We'll take our friend back," Adam said, getting closer. The three ghouls took out a combat rifle (looked up fallout guns, again). "Out numbered, eh?" The leader ghoul said. "Did you forget something?" Uni asked, giving a glare at Susan. The ghouls looked at Susan, her growling in return. "Oh, run!" The leader shouted, them then running. Adam laughed. "And you stay away!" Chrisy shouted. "Good job guys," I said, giving a thumbs up. "Like good times," Adam said, giving me a thumbs up. I nodded and walked over to Nick. He quickly put his hood back on, not leaving his gaze from the ground. "You okay?" I asked, nudging him a bit. "Are these his goggles?" Uni said, then picking up a pair of goggles in his mouth. Chrisy took it out from his mouth and nodded. I looked at Nick's face and noticed his eyes were shut, with no goggles on. "Guess they, goggled off," Dawn said, trying to make a pun. Adam did a little chuckle. "What was that supposed to be?" Uni asked. "Nick?" Chrisy said, shaking Nick a bit. "Y-yeah?" He said, opening his eyes, but still looking down. "You okay Nick?" Uni asked. "Yeah, thanks guys," He said, still looking down. "You sure?" Adam asked, sounding, confused. "Yeah, uh, where are my goggles?" He asked. Chrisy handed him his goggles. He put them on and then looked up. "So, what happened exactly?" Uni asked, looking around the slightly lit room. "I found the hole and decided to jump in." "Why would you do something like that?" Adam asked, walking up behind me. "I don't know," Nick answered, holding his hands. "Guys calm down, it was probably an accident," I said, grabbing Nick's hand to help him get up. "Y-yeah, that's it," Nick said, getting up from the chair. Adam handed Nick his bat, Nick taking it and looking at it. "That still-" "Come here Susan," Nick quickly said, interrupting Uni. Nick walked up to Susan and started petting her. "Am I the only one who thinks something is wrong?" Uni whispered. "Yeah," I answered. Adam nodded. "So, let's find a way out of her," Christina said, interrupting the whisper. "That's true, maybe there's like a secret door or something," Uni said, sniffing around. "I highly expect Uni," I said, looking around. "You never know Cory," Chrisy said, looking around with Uni. I started looking around too.

"Anything?" I asked. Everyone groaned. "No," Uni said. "How did those ghouls get in here though?" Nick asked, rubbing his hood. "Wait, where did they come from Nick?" I asked. "What?" Adam asked. "You were kidnapped, yes?" He nodded. "You were awake the whole time?" He nodded again. "So, which way did they come from?" Nick thought about it and pointed to a dark area. "I'm not going in there," Chrisy said, grabbing my arm. "It's there, or here," Dawn said, going up ahead. "Who first?" I asked, chuckling. "Nick!" Uni quickly yelled. "H-hey, I just got kidnapped." "So?" Uni asked. Nick groaned. "Fine." He walked to the wall, then disappeared. "Nick?" I asked, stepping closer. "Come on guys!" Nick echoed back. I nodded and motioned for them to follow. It was dark for awhile, but then we ended up behind the station. "Who knew they had an exit and entrance to the station?" Nick said, looking at the hole. "Nick," I started. "Yeah, what's up?" He asked. "What happened?" Uni asked. "Yeah, what were they asking you?" Adam asked. "Just about you guys, nothing else," Nick quickly said, turning around, his back facing us. "You sure?" Dawn asked. He nodded and grabbed his arm, squeezing it. I sighed. "Just drop it," I whispered. They nodded and sighed. "Now that we know they're here, we should get going," I said, pointing ahead of the station. "Agreed, we don't know it there are more," Adam added. "Oh, I have an idea where to go!" Uni shouted. "Where?" I asked, bending down to his level. "Somewhere safe," He answered. Green place... "Okay, if you're sure," I said, standing up. "I'll check for anything useful, you guys started looking where to go," Chrisy said, jumping through a broken window of the station.

Nick's POV

I looked out, embarrassed about everything that just happened. Good thing they didn't see... I grabbed my hood and bit my lip. It would have ended bad.... "Hey Nick," Uni said, interrupting my thoughts. "Yeah?" I asked, turning around to face him. "Why do you keep your hood on? And your goggles?" He asked. "Th-they just look cool, that's why," I lied, tightening my grip on my hood. "You sure?" He asked, coming closer. I nodded. "I'll bite your leg," He threatened. "Really?!" I shouted, jumping up. He chuckled. "Come one guys," Cory said. I nodded and walked over, trying to get away from Uni and his questions. "You sure you good Nick?" Adam asked, patting my back. I nodded and looked down. "O, kay then. Let's get going," Cory said, walking to the front of the station. They can't see... they can't see my eyes....
