Christina's POV

We finished raiding the station. I had about 12 cans of stew, a pistol, a couple bullets for it, a machete, and MREs. "Got any weapons?" Adam asked. I took out my machete and pistol. "Is this good?" I asked. He nodded and looked at Nick. "What about you?" "Well, I found a baseball bat! Seem familiar?" Adam laughed. "Wow, wish you still had it." "What about you?" I asked Adam. He took out his desert eagle, an axe, and a pistol. "Dang, where did you get that?" Nick asked. "Found it, duh," Adam replied. "It's almost sunrise, we should get back, "I said, looking up at the sky. They nodded and we started heading back. "Susan!" Nick shouted, waving some stew in the air. Susan ran up to him and looked at the stew. "Here you go girl!" Nick said, giving her the can of stew. I giggle. Susan was not scary, but actually cute. "What's so funny?" Nick asked. "Nothing," I replied. From the corner of my eye, I swear I saw Adam give off a little smirk. I smiled and started walking.

"Where are they?" Adam asked, putting his hand over his eyes. "I don't know," I said.

We've been here for like an hour, and they're not hear. "What's wrong girl?" Nick asked. I looked over and saw Susan sniffing that ground and growling. "What is it now?!" Adam shouted, angered. "She's smelling something," Nick replied, moving to the side for Susan. She sniffed to the direction Dawn, Cory, and Uni went and growled. "Are they hurt?!" I asked her. She looked at me then back at the direction. "Do you really think that thing is going to reply?" Adam asked, gesturing to Susan when he said 'thing'. "That 'thing' has a name Adam, it's Susan," Nick retorted back. From the corner of my eye, I saw some figures. I squinted and placed my hand over my eyes. "Guys! What's that?" I said, pointing with my free hand at the figures. "Look it's Cory, Uni, and Dawn....HEY!" Nick shouted waving. "~~~go!" I heard one of them say. "WHAT?!" I shouted back. THey started getting closer...so did a herd of ghouls. "I think he said... GO GO GO!" Adam shouted, aiming and firing at the ghouls. "Can't you talk to them!?" I shouted, taking out my machete. "I'll explain later!" He shouted, firing. Cory, Uni, and Dawn made it to us. "Hand me a gun!" He shouted. Adam threw the pistol and transferred to the desert eagle. "Christina, take Uni and Dawn and run!" Cory shouted. I stood still, in fear. I've never been in a fight, with hurting someone. "Christina go!" Adam shouted, but I didn't move. I felt a pair of arms grab me and carry me bridal style. I looked up and saw Nick. "Meet us back at the place!" Adam shouted. Nick nodded and yelled, "Help them girl!" . Adam probably meant the station we looted... "Come on Dawn! Uni!" Nick shouted, starting to run. He held me tight, and I didn't mind... it made me feel safe. I dug my face into his chest as he ran. I began to feel a bit tired. I tried to stay awake, but sleep overcame me.

Nick's POV

I kept running, and running, clutching Christina close to me. "Are we there yet?!" Uni shouted, running behind me. "Don't worry, we are almost there!" I shouted back. I squinted and saw the building. "There!" I shouted, gesturing to the building. Uni ran ahead, shouting, "Food! Food!" I stopped running and looked down at Christina. Her eyes were closed, I guess she was sleeping. I smiled. She was so peaceful as she slept. "We should set up camp and go back for Cory and Adam," Dawn said, floating next to me. "Okay," I said. I went into the store and cleared out an area for Christina to lay down. I grabbed four crates and a long rag. I put laid her down and put two boxes on each side of her and placed the rag on her as a blanket. "What do we do? Should we wait for them or go?" Uni asked. "We could wait, but that's a bad idea," I answered. "I could stay with her and you two go," Dawn proposed. "That works too," I said. "Then what are we waiting for?!" Uni shouted, running out of the store. I looked back at Christina before following Uni. "I hope they're ok," Uni said. "I'm sure they're fine," I said, trying to calm him. He gave me a stare before running farther ahead. "And besides, Susan is there," I added. "Well, uh, that's true." I started to speed up, and eventually saw them. All the ghouls were gone, and they were sitting down. "Hey guys," Cory said, waving. "Did you take ALL of them out?" I asked. "Yep, all of them down," Adam answered, standing up. "Wait! Is Chrisy okay?!" Cory asked, standing up quickly. "Yeah, she's just back over there with-" Before I could say Dawn, Susan jumped on me and started licking me with her big tongue. "Susan! Stop!" I shouted. Everyone started laughing. I took out a can of stew and threw it further away from me. She looked at it and ran to it. "Help... ," I said, stretching out my hand. Adam chuckled and helped me up. "So, how did it go?" I asked. "Simple as pie," Adam replied. "It was-" Then this time Uni jumped on Cory and started licking his face. "No! Uni!" He started yelling. "I was so scared you died!" Uni shouted. "Haha! See how it feels?" I asked, doing an evil laugh. "Real funny Nick," Cory said, getting up. "Well, I think we should head back," Adam recommended. "To where?" Cory asked. "Oh, they found a station or something," Uni explained. Cory nodded and started walking.
