Chapter 5

He had been left alone in their chambers as they had some kind of celebration, but something told him that it wasn't good. It was just that he felt anxious and almost as if something wasn't right. It just felt like something was going horribly wrong. But he knew that he couldn't move with an injured ankle and god it was annoying.

Maybe that was why he did walk outside. Yes, he knew the risk and yes, he would have to limp around, but he couldn't care less about this. Also, he was bored so he may as well explore. He heard some servants and maids whisper about Lady Helen being an amazing singer.

This brought his attention and he decided to sneak inside and hiding as waiting for the show to start. He knew he could get into trouble, but he couldn't care. Not to mention he really wanted to hear her voice.

So, he waited, and he couldn't help but stare at people entering. Each and everyone wearing some pretty clothes. It was festive and he couldn't help but feel like he was not wearing the right thing. But he bore with it then there were Carnell who looked stunning and even Delbert was looking amazing.

His heart skipped a beat at this, and cheeks felt slightly heating up and that was why he avoided looking at them. One by one people entered and there was one female who held long black hair and blue eyes and a stunning red dress which suited her so much.

Something wasn't feeling right with the person who was king. It was apparent for him, as soon as he heard him talk. It was just that he felt like he better not to piss this person off. Right next to this older male was someone with blond short hair and lake blue eyes.

This person was for sure the prince and this was probably the soulmate of Merlin. One thing was clear he felt like he wasn't looking good. He felt like he was the only one who looked bad. So that he felt anxiousness bubble up on him.

This was felt by both of his soulmates who now seen having concerned glanced given each other. It wasn't helping that they were tugging on his bond. He still felt not like he was belonging into the room. After Uther had gave his speech, a female entered.

Long dark brown hair and ice blue eyes looking straight ahead. She wore a orange yet in the middle was over the dress something light blue. But as soon as hearing her sing the hair stood up on the back on his neck. Not a good thing because he felt the danger hitting him hard.

It was the familiar sensation he always got when some danger was coming. His eyes narrowed and brows furrowed as feeling him get sleepy. It was as if his voice held a melodic yet eerie sound. Even when he wasn't wanting to fall asleep, he went down.

Then his eyes dropped, and he knew that this will not end up well...

Slowly his eyes opened as feeling someone nudge him. His gaze went around, and it took him around one minute to realize that he had fallen asleep. Then he sat up and was met with Carnell and Delbert giving him a raised eyebrow, amusement yet also shone in their eyes.

"You could have asked instead of just sneaking inside." It was pointed out by Carnell and his cheeks heated up as he muttered an apology.

"It's fine but the king might not like this. But we made sure to cover for you and telling him that you ended up as the new servant and Carnell deciding to choose you as another manservant." It was explained by Delbert.

So he could just nod and feeling glad that they didn't tell that he was the soulmate of Carnell and Delbert.

"Alright..." He mumbled and slowly standing up and hearing that his brother would end up as a manservant to the prince called Arthur. From what he could guess that the male wasn't that liking it and the king didn't care about this.

"Well I am going to carry you because you know what Gaius told you." It was said firmly with no way for him to argue back. So he ended up being carried in bridal style again with him having his head down and avoiding looking at everyone with a flustered expression.

At least from the heat on his cheeks he knew that he was flustered. It was embarrassing but no one seemed to question another servant carrying him. Still it was embarrassing for him. They entered inside the chamber again and talking for hours until it was getting late and they ended up going to bed.

But his sleep wasn't well. A nightmare plaguing his mind about Carnell ending up bitten by a snake that comes out of a shield. Which wasn't just one but more than one but three big green snake. Something was going to happen, and he knew this from the start he woke up.

Something big and dangerous and he could just hope that this wasn't one of his dreams that would come real. But from how his gut felt queasy he had the feeling that this was one of those dreams he had. Which was scary thinking about it.
