Chapter 2
His mother had been fuzzing over both of them when waking up. Even making sure that they would have anything that she thought that they would need. It was making him think of his Aunt May and Pepper. So that he had to reassure her and Merlin as well.
They did end up going soon afterward and from what he knew that they would have to walk on foot. So, this was something that he hadn't really done that much. Yet he was not out of breath as he had worked out many times with helping out other people.
Peter was looking around and letting his hair getting ruffled softly by the mild spring breeze. It was not warm but not cold either. Right now, it was just perfect, and he knew that this will be exciting yet nerve-wracking. There was something awaiting him, but also his brother. His gaze was going around, and he couldn't help but feel pleased by nature.
No young man. No matter how great, can know his destiny.
Merlin was looking around as well, and he wasn't even sure that it would be a good idea. Something told him that it was, but another part told him that it was also not the best idea. All in all, he had no idea what to do with this anxious feeling.
He cannot glimpse his part in the great story that is about to unfold. Like everyone, he must live and learn. Und so it will be for the young warlock arriving at the gates of Camelot.
"You alright?" Merlin asked with concern underlying under his voice and he nodded and gave him a reassuring smile. But his brother knew that there was something that he wasn't telling him, but not pushing further. The two continued to walk and he hoped that his instincts were wrong.
A boy that will, in time, father the legend.
But he knew better than not to trust them. So, he would have to be prepared for anything that would come in their way. Because he knows better than not trust them. Because when he wouldn't it could end up like with Thanos and no way would he ignore this feeling of dread. A feeling that told him that something bad will happen.
His name: Merlin.
He could by now see a big castle and it was impressive. It was making him awe and even Merlin as well. Both had eye contact and grinning at each other.
"Eat dust!" He hollered as starting to dash away and Merlin snorted and going after him with him snickering as well.

The two walked into the place now. A place buzzing with people walking around and he got distracted quickly. His steps walking around somewhere else and by now he had lost his brother. Not a good thing when you asked him.
'Great, Merls will have so my head...' He let out a sigh and wincing at the scolding he will receive at him vanishing on his brother. Not the first time and won't be the last time. Because he had the habit of getting distracted and that was not just the absence seizure, he got from time to time.
'I may as well search for Gaius maybe?' He thought to himself as staring to walk around in awe. Everyone was busy and none seemed to question him being here. But the issue was that he had no idea who he should ask.
The last thing he wanted was getting yelled at for just talking to someone. This seemed to make him have an internal struggle and panic starting to bubble up. He tried not to panic but it wasn't easy when he lost his brother and having no idea where to go, nor where his brother went. So, he ended up tripping and falling on the ground with an 'oof and that hurt like buttcheek on a stick.' He muttered out as feeling his cheeks heat up. Because he knew that others saw but they at least did ignore him. So, he slowly sat up and trying to calm his heart down. Because this was not helping his anxiety that was slowly bubbling up.
So, he took deep breathes in and slowly out, but it was clearly not working because he was starting to freak out even more. "Okay, Callahan you can do it..." He muttered to himself trying his best not to flip out.
But in the end, he ended up in a full-on panic. Not a good thing because this meant he wouldn't calm down and when he won't; he would end passing out. He wheezed a few times and feeling black spots appear.
"Okay, can you hear me." It was a male voice talking. The person had a calm and soothing undertone. He nodded slowly. "Alright, can you concentrate on my voice and take deep breathes in at the count of four and out at four." It was said soothingly, and he concentrates entirely on the stranger's voice.
His sight slowly returned, and he felt exhausted. But slowly he sat up. Then he looked at the stranger who helped him. The stranger had red short hair. Freckles all-around their cheeks and they wore the typical commoner clothes. But what made him stare was that the person had light green eyes. Also, he was around 170 cm. His heart skipped a beat and he never felt something like this. The concern was seen on their face and this made him feel the heat slowly get up.
"You better?" It was asked soon with the same concern tone as the expression showed. It was making him slowly nod but feeling embarrassed about having a panic attack in front of a stranger.
"Do you need some help?" It was asked again with caution and he opened his mouth but couldn't get something out.
"Shit, don't scare me like this." It was the familiar voice of Merlin who by now was fuzzing over him and he stared at him from a moment. Then looking over to the stranger blinking and then going back to him.
"Well look at this, you found your first soulmate." It was said with a grin and he could feel his cheeks heat even more up.
"Sh-Shut it Merls..." He mumbled and his older brother chuckled and pulling him back up.
"Wait you mean- Oh..." It was soon said, and he glanced at the stranger who mused now slightly.
"Merlin, we need to go." He tugged on his older brother and walking away as too embarrassed and scared to know what their reaction will be.
"You really had to do this?" It was asked with exasperation and he gave the older one an anxious look. Which seemed to make his brother realize what was happening. He breathed out and both held hands as he ended up getting lead somewhere.
"Alright you had one of your anxiety attacks, didn't you?" It was asked softly yet concern was heard, and he slowly nodded.
He felt pulled into a hug and he instantly melted as hugging back and feeling himself calm down. The two ended up walking into a place soon and the male had grey almost whitish hair. The hair straight and kind looking sky blue eyes shown but one was rather duller than the other. That meant that Gaius had lost his soulmate.
"So, you finally found him, Merlin." It was asked with amusement yet there was something caring underlying it. "I am Gaius and you must be Callahan." This time it was friendly as well caring.
He nodded and the two conversed a bit more with Merlin vanishing to bring something to Gaius clients. But the thing was that they ended up having to pick up his brother in the dungeon. That just because he had talked back to someone.
But what made him stare blankly at him was when he heard that he picked a fight with the prince of Camelot. Also, there was the fact that his brother had both of his eye colors. Which meant that he found his soulmate also.
He heard what happened from Gaius and he could just wince with the luck he had. Not just was this a male but also a prince. This wasn't something that he expected, and he could just hope that the two would make up at some point. For him on the other hand he still had no idea what to do with him finding his soulmate or one of them.
There was still the other person he would have to find but he really wasn't sure that he should. So that he tried not to think of it too much. His winced as seeing his brother right now getting thrown with vegetables and mused slightly as well.
He breathed out as starting to heat outside of Camelot and into the forest to get some herbs Gaius wanting him to bring. He didn't need how they looked like because he knew the knowledge about them.
'I just hope that no- okay nope not going to jinx it.' He thought as pushing aside his bad what if's. No way would he liked to have some trouble. With his Parker luck, it wouldn't be too surprising to him. He furrowed his brows as realizing that he was somewhere else.
Still in the forest but he got lost badly. God this really had just to happen to him. A sigh was going out as he tried to find a way back but, how could he? The forest was big, and this wasn't the normal future he got known. This was bad and he knew this...
