Chapter 13
Peter left details out as he wasn't ready yet to talk about everything but when finished he avoided his gaze again. It was not something that he liked to tell but they deserved to know. The two were after all his soulmates and they would now at least know why he was jumpy and anxious.
"That..." Delbert was speechless and there was also some anger underlying it.
"I really want to find them and kick their ass for harming something that is ours." Carnell growled out and he shivered and wondering why he suddenly was that possessive. It was making him feel like he had made them angry and he wasn't liking this.
"Don't apologize." Delbert interjected. But how could he not? They sounded pissed off and he felt it was his fault. But his mouth instantly shut, as shivering slightly.
"Yeah, don't you dare. Nothing was your fault and I really don't like what they did to you." It was said with a huff but voice softer, caring and a reassuring tone used.
"But..." His mouth snapped close as he seen the two giving him a disapproving look. This was making him just more confused but he could tell that they were genuine. That they were genuine telling him that it wasn't his fault.
"No but."
"You aren't at fault but Nimueh who did sell you." It was said and he could just nod and having no idea how to react to this.
What he noticed was that both of his soulmates have the same feeling about him but he wasn't sure what that feeling was. But it felt like what he felt, and it was a feeling that he felt foreign. A feeling he hadn't had yet. There was a silence for a moment before it was broken by a knock at the door.
"It's open." Carnell called out and soon the door opened with Merlin enter.
His older brother walked in and glancing at him first, then walking up and greeting him with a hair ruffle.
"I was almost planning to wake you three up like I did with the pratness but you are awake so don't need to do this." A grin was on Merlin's lips and he snorted at this.
"Of course you would. But I swear wake me up like this and I will make sure to let the water goblet float over to you and empty it all over you." It was said warningly, and Merlin gaped at him and soon pulled into a hug.
"God it worked, thank god." It was said softly, and he wrapped his arms instantly around Merlin. Because he knew how much this had pained his brother and he was feeling guilty about this. Even when it wasn't his fault, but he couldn't help but feel guilty. The hug soon left, and he seen Merlin give him a grin and ruffle his hair once more.
"Anyway, the king called you three. Sir Mal decided to visit and mentioning something about, that he had searched for you everywhere Cal." It was said softly yet concern flashed through the eyes.
His body shuddered and he bit his lips and shaking his head. "Th-This...oh god please no..." He said shakily because Mal was one of the sons of his last master. This meant that he was found, and this meant that he would go back.
"Alright, we will come. Just give us a moment alright?" It was said softly by Delbert and Merlin nodded and leaving. But not without glancing at him with a concerned look.
"Just take deep breathes." It was Carnell who said this reassuringly and calmly. The two people helped him slowly to calm down. Then he explained why he was panicking. Both had soon had once again eye contact and having a silent conversation. Then they nodded and he was picked up bridal style. A squak escaped out of surprise and he felt his cheeks flush deeply. Yet he felt anxious and scared to meet this person.
"Don't worry, Cal."
"We won't let him get near you."
Both said this right afterward and he could just nod and lean into the touch of Carnell. They moved then out of the room and he buried his face into the crotch of the neck, as trying not to freak out. But each step they got nearer the more anxious he got. But he trust's the two and this was probably why he was nowhere as nearly freaked out then he should be.
"Finally I found you, Cal." It was said with a different tone, then what he usually heard coming from Mal. The male always was the one taking control over him. It was after all the king who bought him for his son. This was making him swallow thickly and hiding behind Carnell.
"Arthur this person was one of the people who he had been sold as." Carnell was saying with anger lacing in his voice.
"As if I rescued him!" Mal yelled and he flinched as feeling his entire body start shaking. He was pulled into a protective hug by Delbert.
"Bullcrap because this here is mine and Carn's soulmate and we are not going to let you take him away from us." It said low and threatening. It was obvious that the two would fight tooth and nail against Mal.
And weirdly enough he was not scared about this but feeling his heart warm at this. Because it showed to him that they were accepting him still as a soulmate even after what he explained.
"That can't be." It was said and he breathed out and deciding he had enough hidden behind his soulmates. Where his sudden courage came, could just be explained him having his soulmates protective nature. He was sure that the male couldn't hurt him with the king and his two soulmates there. So, he softly pushed Delbert aside and giving him a reassuring look.
The male let go and he breathed out as walking up to Mal. When he was in front of him, he breathed out again, giving a sweet yet cold smile. A smile that reached not his eyes and then he punched the male with enough force to make him fall on his butt and giving him a bruise.
"That is for all the things you did force me to do, bastard." He said sweetly and then walking back to his two soulmates. "Just to tell you, I am not your puppet or doll anymore." He huffed out and he was feeling way better now.
"Alright, what did he force you to do?" Arthur asked with horror yet concern. It was warming his heart because it showed again how caring the king could be.
"Well his Dad did bought me and gave me him as a present. You can guess what happened. Also, this wasn't the first person I got sold to." He mentioned with a shaky voice. His gaze avoided everyone, and he ended up glomping Carnell this time. Which the male instantly wrapped arms around him.
"Guards arrest this fiend for kidnapping a guest of Camelot." Arthur sounded pissed and not once had he heard the male's voice that cold. It was making him shiver but he knew that the anger was not at him but at this person.
In the end, Mal ended up banned from Camelot. But that just because he intervened from him getting killed. Yes, this person has done some horrible things but killing would not change a damn thing. Also, it would make him see as a war message.
This part had kind of ended but he was still anxious and jumpy after this. Because when Mal would appear then others could as well. Or the people who do sell other people.
