I can't believe it! I'm in the same house as Lily-flower! Oh my gosh, this means I can ask her out because I really like her! I thought letting out a tiny whoop.

"Oi, shut up!" Sirius hissed at me and I clamped my jaw shut.

"Here are your schedules," Mc.Gonagall swept over us dropping eight schedules.

Lily took one, I took one, Sirius took one, Lupin took one, Peter took one, Alice Prewett took one, Marlene McKinnon and Mary McDonald took one.

"Hey!" I tried to tell after Mc.Gonagall but the stern professor has already swept off.

"Oi, Remus! Look at this!" I hissed and he looked over, annoyed.

     I glared at my schedule:

"So? What's the problem?" Remus asked me.

I looked at him incredulously, "what do you mean 'what's the problem?' "

Remus just gave me a blank look.

"It's literally ALL working!" I complained and Remus snorted. "No fun time!"

"Oi! Potter!" Lily shouted at me and I looked up at her quickly in a hopeful way.

"Stop acting so arrogant and like a know-it-all!" She snapped and I blushed.

I only acted embarrassed because I love seeing her feisty side and so she would keep on putting me down. I do not care what people think of that.

"Everyone, please head to bed. You must all be exhausted and get everything ready!" Dumbledore announced.

"I'm not tired and I don't want to pack." I told Sirius, Peter and Remus as the head boy led us out of the Great Hall, "want to ask the girls if they want to play truth or dare?"

Remus frowned at me, "why don't you ask them?"

Of course goody-two-shoes would make that comment, I thought irritated, but I shrugged instead.

"I'll do it!" Sirius looked delighted and I grinned, while Remus sighed.

     Spoilsport!

"Hello ladies, do you think we could all play a game of truth or dare?" Sirius strutted over and winked in a flirtatious way.

Lily, Alice, Marlene and Mary looked at one another. After some whispering they agreed after they had finished packing.

I glanced around and I saw staircases moving around to transport up flights of stairs easily.

     "Wow," I muttered in amazement.

We climbed the stairs and pictures began moving, but I was used to this so I just kept following the head boy. We reached a door with a fat lady in a pink, frilly dress.

     "Password?" She asked.

"Caput Draconis," the head boy smiled importantly and the door opened where it led to three cozy red sofas around a fireplace, tiny red chairs around tables all around.

"Boys are upstairs, bathrooms to the left. Girl are upstairs, bathrooms to the right. Your luggage is already brought up," the head boy disappeared instantly after that, but I did not mind.

Sirius, Remus, Peter and I charged upstairs and we each reserved a four poster bed.

I started unpacking a few robes and I tucked my wand away. So did Remus, Sirius and Peter.

We headed downstairs where Lily and Alice were talking.

"Where's McKinnon and McDonald?" Sirius asked.

Just then, Marlene and Mary came down. They all wore black robes with a Gryffindor tie and all their hair was down. Lily had red wavy hair, Alice had brown straight hair, Marlene had long wavy blonde hair and Mary had brown wavy hair.

"Ladies, first," I declared being polite and I mock-bowed.

Mary whispered something to Lily and both smirked.

     Suddenly, I felt hurt.

Why does Lily seem to hate me? I haven't even done anything yet! I thought, I mean, usually, I do get into trouble... But it hasn't been one day yet!

Lily suddenly disappeared into the dormitory hall while muttering, "I have to go."

I noticed she was rubbing her head and I wondered if I had given her a headache.

How could that happen? I wondered, I'm so handsome! How could she not love me? Also, I could never give anyone a headache, right? I'm not annoying! Just ask— okay maybe not... I grinned sheepishly, realizing that all of my friends would think that I was annoying. After I thought that I heard Lily let out a tiny chuckle as she headed up to her dormitory.

Why does it seem like she can read my mind? I wondered then grinned stupidly again.

"Why are you smiling?" Marlene demanded and it wiped off my face immediately.

     "No reason," I said hastily.

Marlene cast me a look of suspicion.

"Okay. Sirius?" Mary began, "truth or dare?"

"DARE!" Sirius shouted the minute she had finished the question.

"Pipe down!" Remus snapped, "there are other people than just us here!"

"Spoilsport!" I shot back at him, but he ignored me.

Wise, I think I've learned how people end up injured if people talk-back at me. But when Evans does it, it's just amusing, I thought.

"I dare you to... go up to the Slytherin table tomorrow morning at breakfast and ask if they took your beloved pink unicorn stuffed animal!" Mary yelled triumphantly and I high-fived her.

Sirius merely smiled, "I look forward to it."

I noticed how he could not help but look at Marlene.

Ohhh, maybe Evans and I could go on a double date with Sirius and McKinnon, I thought gleefully.

Nuh uh, that isn't going to happen, a voice that sounded like Evans's came into my head.

"Marlene, truth or dare?" Sirius asked her.

"Truth," Marlene replied twisting her wavy blonde hair around her finger.

"Do you like anyone at Hogwarts as in a crush?" Sirius asked, acting casual.

Meanwhile, Remus and I face-palmed at Sirius's stupid question. It was so obvious that he liked Marlene.

"Uh, no. I mean, I don't really know anyone really well yet," Marlene said slowly and I saw Sirius's face fall, then light up again.

"Maybe you and I could get to know each other," Sirius said casually, but he winked to get her thinking.

Instead, Marlene just blushed and muttered, "I'm going to check on Lily."

     "Okay!"

Sirius and I high-fived at his attempt to signal that he liked Marlene.

"Alright, Peter —" I began when I was interrupted.

"GUYS! COME HELP! I DON'T CARE IF THAT GUY IS MALE OR FEMALE, JUST COME!" Marlene screamed and everyone charged up into the girl dormitory.

I did not see anything wrong... until I looked in Lily's bed where she was lying sprawled out with blood everywhere.
