His voice venom but appearing sweet

"I want to see you in lace with the moon dancing across your skin.

I want to see you in nothing as your pinned beneath me.

I want to see you."

He tells me repeatedly.

My stomach turns at the idea.

I tell him no, and he gets angry at me

Shouldn't I have a voice too?

He stops speaking to me

Giving me the cold shoulder

I beg for him to talk to me again

"We can fix this." I tell him

But his mind is already made up

You see dear reader

Being abused by a partner

Is not okay by any means

Don't make the same mistakes I did

When he gives you a flag, leave.

Don't listen to friends who tell you it's your fault

And side with him

Don't fail classes because he's demanding your attention

Throughout the entire class

Don't cut off friends

Because he doesn't like any of them

Don't let him control you

The healing process takes longer than it does to leave him
