A Complicated Relationship: Ch.12

Angie's Pov:

A constant swaying woke me up. I felt something soft and warm from under me, my hand gripped it. Fur? Where did this fur come from? My eyes were heavy but I managed to open them a bit to get a peek at the passing senary. I saw trees, where am I? Wait, things were starting to come back. Like the walk home and that creepy guy. He kidnapped me! This caused me to snap my eyes open, all my passed feelings were coming back as well. A new wave of fear hit me causing me to lose balance off of whatever I was on and fall hitting the gound hard. I winced as I hit the ground but the sound of my name caught my attention. "ANGIE" I peered up expecting my capturer but instead I see a giant wolf.

A little yelp left my lips as I scrambled backwards. This thing is huge, did wolves even get that big? I hit the trunk of a tree stopping me from moving any further. Memories of my dream bombarded me. Of that woman and how I felt her being attacked by this very same thing. Was I dreaming? Even if I was it was going to hurt. Its going to eat me. Where was that guy? Maybe the wolf ate him. Good but now I was his next meal. It took a step towards me this time I screamed. "s-stay a-away" I stuttered. I was so consumed by fear I could no longer move. My breath came in short gasps. The wolves eyed were peering into mine. They were so intense and...sad? human like, familiar even.

It took another step towards me. I held my breath and closed my eyes waited for the dreaded pain of being clawed and bit at again. 'angie please don't fear me' a voice said. I noticed that voice "eli?" I opened my eyes frantically looked around for him but saw nothing. What was he doing in the woods? My gaze came to rest on the wolf again. Its eyes were wide with shock 'y-you can hear me?' eli's voice came again. What does he mean I can hear him? Of coarse I could. "eli this isn't funny were are you?" I asked keeping my eyes on the wolf who hadn't moved a single inch. Was he in the trees? My question was met by silence. "eli?" Nothing. I slowly came to my feet, the wolf kept still. my legs were shaking so badly it was hard to stand. Please let this be a dream, this just can't be real. "eli" I said again my voice not even above a whisper. 'I'm here' he said. I looked around again. Why is he toying with me? "eli please quit the games, help me" I cried. I heard the wolf whine 'I'm front of you angie, The wolf is me.' He said.

He was joking right? It's just a cruel joke. "this is not funny eli just stop!" The wolf took another step causing me to jump. 'I know this is hard to except but your going to have to believe me, I'm not going to hurt you' I shook my head this isn't real I have to be dreaming. But some how I knew it wasn't. Suddenly there was a steam like mist surrouning it. Whats happening? I was hallucinating that had to be it cause there was no possible way that a mist comes out of no where, It wasn't even cold out here. The wolf was no longer visable, this was my chance to get away but how far could I run? I couldn't out run a wolf. As the mist was starting to clear I noticed the sillhoett of the animal had changed. The shape looked more like a human now.

I took a step back till my back was against the tree. I have gone completly crazy, maybe my depression had me hit rock bottom. Or the car crash did some major damage to my brain. All I know is that theres a human figure were a wolf use to be and I'm freaking out!!! After being kidnapped and now this it was too much for me to handle. The last thing I saw was eli's concerned face emerge from the mist before eveything turned dark.

Eli's Pov:

Angie stood there staring at me with big scared green eyes. This is what I have been trying to prevent from the begining. This very moment. I wanted to ease her into the idea of me being what I am but things never go according to plan. Damn! Now shes scared of me. But the one thing I didn't understand was how was she able to hear me? Was she a werewolf to? No I would have senced it.

I walked over to unconcious body, and knelt down in front of her. She looked so small and scared. What have I done? Maybe I was in over my head, I can't have her live my dangerous life. Ok thats a lie my lifes pretty chill the only thing dangerous thing that happened would have been the kidnapping. Slowly pulling her in my arms I gently moved her bangs from her face. She so beautiful, she deserves a normal life but I didn't want to let her go.
