"Uhh, my head... what the hay did I do last night?" Applejack leaned up from her bed. She slowly edged out of her bed and walked over to the small table with her hat on it.

Applejack put on her hat and walked out her room, she saw Applebloom trotting up the stairs with Scootaloo. "Applebloom, what are you doing up so early?" Applejack was concerned as Scootaloo never went home for the entire night.

"Oh hi big sister, I was just talking to Scootaloo" The two fillies walked past Applejack.

Applejack trotted down the stairs and saw that Granny Smith was making some of her best apple pie. Applejack decided she would skip breakfast and head straight for Twilights; she wanted more emotional support with her relationships and thought that Twilight would be the best mare to talk to about this stuff.

Applejack walked out of Sweet Apple Acers and followed the path to the middle of Ponyville, on the way she caught glimpse of a cyan Pegasus, she realised that this was Rainbow.

She never wanted to see anypony before she got to Twilights, but they were both heading in the same path, she thought that initialising conversation with Rainbow would keep everything casual.

Rainbow walked over to Applejack, and then Applejack froze and couldn't move. "Uh, Rainbow? Can we talk?" Rainbow stopped and stood across from Applejack. Sweat was dripping from Applejack, she was so nervous, she never knew why.

"Uh sure Applejack, what you want to talk about?" Applejack couldn't hold it in any longer. Applejack's hat fell off as she quickly moved her head over to Rainbows... Rainbow froze in realisation, knowing... Applejack was kissing her...

It was soft, they were both touching lips. Rainbow was dumbstruck. Her face turn bright red, she couldn't move, she couldn't do anything. Applejack was enjoying the time they spend kissing, Rainbows eyes were wide open, staring at the orange coated mare.

Rainbow muttered through this kiss, but Applejack never let go, she never stopped the kiss that seemed to last forever. Then suddenly a voice called out from the side.

"Rainbow?!" Applejack heard this and her ears rose, she opened her eyes and let go of Rainbow. Rainbow's face was still bright red. She never blinked and just stared at Applejack.

Twilight was galloping towards the two mares. Applejack launched herself into a galloping state and ran from Rainbow Dash. Twilight was out of breath "Rainbow... were you two-" Twilight was cut off by Rainbow's sudden yell.

"Yes! I mean.... No! I mean..." Rainbow looked over to Twilight who was trying to spot Applejack. But before Rainbow could continue her sentence, Twilight placed a hoof over Rainbows mouth.

"It's okay Rainbow, we'll talk about this... come back to the library with me" Rainbow just followed Twilight back to the library.

Rainbow felt so embarrassed to walk around Ponyville with everyone able to see that she was bright red. Twilight opened the door to the library and walked over to the door that led to the basement of the library.

"Rainbow, in here... we can talk in private" Twilight seemed pretty eager to talk about what happened, Rainbow just followed without argue.

Twilight closed the door and locked it as they both got in the basement. "Okay Rainbow, I understand what is going on..." Twilight paused as she was about to tell Rainbow a secret. "Applejack... I can't explain it!" Rainbow stood there...

Rainbow looked over to Twilight with a worried face. "I never knew anything about this!" Twilight just placed a hoof on Rainbow. "What's going on, why did Applejack kiss me?!"

"Rainbow, are you sure about this? Applejack wouldn't just... do something like that without a reason!" Twilight was looking over at Rainbow who was still shaking.

"I don't know Twilight, I need time to think... this is very hard for me to explain, but I think we both know that Applejack must have wanted something with me" Twilight stared at the ground for a couple seconds.

"She must have had a reason..." Twilight put a hoof on her chin as Rainbow trotted in circles rubbing her face.

Twilight looked over to Rainbow slightly; Rainbow noticed and turned to Twilight. "What if..." Twilight sighed and looked over at Rainbow.

"Rainbow... only a couple days ago, Applejack came to me for emotional support. Her body was ready for a partner, to find a lover... she thinks it's you, she has feelings for you... Rainbow... she loves you" Rainbow's mouth fell open in shock.

"She... she loves me? Twilight, I've had feelings for Applejack too, but they were never as far as... this" Twilight nodded in response.

"I'm afraid this is true Rainbow, but I have no say in this... it's up to you to either embrace this... or leave Applejack alone" Rainbow flopped her ears down, knowing that she had a major choice to make.

She looked up and looked at Twilight, Rainbow was worried and she never knew what to do "Should I talk to her?" Twilight just nodded and placed a hoof on Rainbow.

Rainbow pulled away from Twilights hoof and headed towards the door, she accidentally dropped a letter on her way out. Twilight walked over to the letter Rainbow dropped, she picked it up with her magic and read it over.

Twilight was shocked at how important this letter was, why did Rainbow not tell her that she had gotten invited to such an important event. "Rainbow? You got invited to the Wonderbolts reunion?"

Rainbow looked round at Twilight "Uh... yeah" Twilight looked over to Rainbow and gave her the letter she dropped.

"Congratulations Rainbow! That's amazing that Spitfire herself would invite you to one of the biggest events in Canterlot history!" Twilight hugged onto Rainbow in joy that her friend would get a chance to finally complete her life dream of joining the Wonderbolts.

"Twilight... I should get going to Sweet Apple Acers" Twilight let go of Rainbow and opened the door for Rainbow, Twilight nodded and motioned for Rainbow to go out first.

"You head to Sweet Apple Acers, I'll catch up on my studies, I missed out on them yesterday" Rainbow just trotted towards the entrance door of the library, it was still bright out and sunny.

Rainbow opened the door and trotted out slowly, she decided to take her time. Her feelings for Applejack were strong, but never as strong as she thought they could get. Kissing Applejack felt right, but at the same time, it felt wrong.

She didn't know what to do; instead she would let fate decide how this plays out... Applejack meant allot to Rainbow, she never wanted to lose her as a friend, yet she never wanted to go far in their friendship. She never even thought she would have a choice to...

Applebloom was walking around in Sweet Apple Acers with Scootaloo when she heard a faint crying sound coming from the barn net to them. Applebloom looked over at Scootaloo, Scootaloo shrugged. They walked over to the door of the barn and knocked on it.

Nothing was said, but the sound of faint crying was still coming from inside the barn, they opened the door and saw Applejack lying on the ground with her head between her hooves.

"Big sister? Are you okay?" Applejack raised her head and looked over to Applebloom; she never said anything and just dimmed her head down, back into her hooves.

Applebloom motioned for Scootaloo to stay where she was and Applebloom trotted over to Applejack slowly. "Applejack, what are you doing here? This isn't like you!" Applejack lifted her head and moved slightly.

"Applebloom, I can't tell you. You wouldn't understand, but can you just leave me here... I'll be out when I'm ready" Applejack's face suddenly twitched as she started to slightly sob into her hooves again. Scootaloo just went over to Applebloom and tugged her shoulder.

"Applebloom, you head her, we should just let her figure this out for herself" Applebloom knocked Scootaloo's hoof off her and trotted towards Applejack again.

"Big sister, I'm sure we can help, please tell us what happened" Applejack stood up and trotted towards Applebloom. Applejack placed a hoof on her shoulder and smiled.

"I know you can, but this is to do with me and another pony..." Applebloom looked at the ground and was about to trot away, just when Applejack pulled her in for a hug. Applebloom caught eye on Scootaloo, who was doing the usual gag motion of pointing to her throat.

Applebloom just ignored Scootaloo, but instead, she loved the hug that she and her sister had. It was the softest hug they shared in a long time, Applebloom enjoyed every second of it.

"Uh... Big sister?" Applebloom pulled out the hug and looked down at Applebloom.

"Yeah?" Applejack still had tears on her cheeks, but she was smiling.

"What happened to your hat?" Applejack placed a hoof on her head, only to notice that hr hat was gone, she instantly realised that she dropped it when she kissed Rainbow.

"Uh... I'm not sure Applebloom, I think it might be... uh... in my bedroom, I'm not sure" Applejack got nervous as Applebloom knew that she was lying, Applebloom just smiled and walked out with Scootaloo.

It gave Applejack time to think about what she did. What was she going to say to Rainbow the next time she sees her? How will this affect their friendship? Applejack got even more worried about this the more she thought of the possibilities of something bad happening.

Applejack was about to leave the barn when she head a sudden knock on the door of the barn, Applejack suspected that it was Applebloom again. A bright cyan coated mare walked in the barn as Applejack was about to walk out, she stepped back as Rainbow Dash came through the door.
