"Rainbow, are you sure about this? Applejack wouldn't just... do something like that without a reason!" Twilight was looking over at Rainbow who was still shaking.

"I don't know Twilight, I need time to think... this is very hard for me to explain, but I think we both know that Applejack had something with me" Twilight stared at the ground for a couple seconds.

"She must have had a reason..." Twilight put a hoof on her chin as Rainbow trotted in circles rubbing her face.

Twilight looked over to Rainbow, who noticed and turned to Twilight. "What if..."

-Two days earlier-

Spike was sleeping on the couch as Twilight opened the door and walked in with Rainbow, who had her wings locked up tight, to stop them from moving. "You can stay here for as long as you want Rainbow, I don't mind... Oh, wake up Spike if you can, he should be working on the space analysis book"

Rainbow nodded and walked over to Spike, who was in a deep sleep. "Hey uh... Twilight?" Rainbow looked over to Twilight who was working on a book she picked up from the floor.

"Yes Rainbow?" Twilight never made any motion and was still reading at the same time.

"How do dragons react when water is dropped on them?" Twilight turned round and giggled as she knew exactly where Rainbow was heading, she used her magic to create a temporal bucket and made it float over to Rainbow, who grasped it in her mouth.

Rainbow went outside and filled the bucket with the cold water from the hose outside the library. She walked back in with a freezing cold bucket of water and trotted up the stairs to a point where the bucket was lying just above Spike. "You sure I can do this?" Rainbow asked, almost dropping the bucket.

Twilight looked over to Rainbow and giggled again. "Yes you can, he deserves it for walking off into Ponyville" Twilight grinned and closed her book to watch as Rainbow was about to drop the water all over the couch that Spike was sitting on.

"You are cruel you know that?!" Spike walked up to Rainbow and Twilight who were laughing hysterically. Spike squeezed his tail to get most of the water out from his scales.

"Sorry Spike, me and Rainbow couldn't resist... and you do sleep a lot more than you should" Twilight was smiling at Spike who was still shivering from cold water.

Rainbow walked into the basement of the library. Twilight followed slowly behind. "This is where you will be sleeping Rainbow, I know it's not that special, but it works" Rainbow sat on the bed next to some electrical equipment.

"What is this for Twi...? I've never seen these before, when did you get all this... sciencey stuff?" Rainbow looked around the room, it was almost fully empty, and the only things in the room were a small table, a chair, a bedside cabinet and the bed she was sitting on.

Twilight walked up to the electrical equipment and turned the power off on them "Remember when I tried to get readings off Pinkie's Pinkie sense?" Twilight used her magic to teleport the technology out of the room.

Rainbow nodded, came off the bed and walked towards Twilight as she was focusing on getting the science equipment out the basement. "What are you doing Twilight?" Twilight was still concentrating hard as she answered Rainbow's question.

"I'm trying to move this out of here so I can have more room to put in more... civilized stuff" Rainbow walked out of the basement after Twilight answered her question.

"Where are you going Rainbow?" Twilight saw Rainbow walk out and up to the main level of the library, Rainbow walked through the doorframe just to see Twilight looking up at her.

Rainbow took almost no time to answer. "I'm just going for a walk to clear my head, I might go visit Applejack too" Twilight put a hoof on her chin.

"Alright then, but remember that you can't use your wings, you could get badly hurt" Rainbow nodded and waved to Twilight.

Rainbow opened the door outside. The day was beautiful and luscious and the sun's rays shined on her coat. There weren't even any clouds in the sky which just made the day better.

Ponyville was lucky that it never got hit harder than it did, Sugar Cube Corner was getting repaired and every other building was getting redone, all the paint was burned off and some tiles were getting put back on to the buildings.

The town looked like a mess, but they were cleaning it up pretty quickly. Rainbow walked into the middle of the town, where Sugar Cube Corner was. She looked at the building. It was crumpled, destroyed and the framing was still on the ground beside the store.

"Dashie! You're here, what made you come over to Sugar Cube Corner... well, what's left of it?" Pinkie was hopping around Rainbow; she seemed excited... a bit too excited.

"Pinkie, are you happy about the store getting destroyed?" Pinkie froze mid-air and looked over to Rainbow, who fell from her short hover.

"Happy? Why would I be happy that the greatest sweet treat store in Equestria got destroyed?" Pinkie then put a hoof on her chin. "Ohh... you mean my bouncing? Well I always try and stay positive!" Rainbow raised one eyebrow and Pinkie looked at her in confusion.

"Pinkie, there are no positives to your favourite store getting destroyed" Rainbow said, confident that she could speak some sense into Pinkie. Pinkie only smiled and bounced around again. Rainbow was still confused at what positives there could be.

Pinkie stopped and put a hoof round Rainbow's shoulder. "The shop is getting redone! We will have even more stuff to make cakes, cupcakes and muffins with! It's going to be amazing! Don't you agree Dashie?" Rainbow gave off a sudden sigh of defeat, she expected Pinkie to be smart enough that she would understand her statement, but she never knew she was smart enough to make her own point in the face of the logical side of life, it was clever what Pinkie said.

Rainbow just nodded slightly, Pinkie bounced away as Rainbow was slowly edging towards Sweet Apple Acers. Rainbow was trotting slowly, admiring the great day... when suddenly she got hit by a scooter, on the scooter was her dedicated fan and idoliser. "Scootaloo, what are you doing speeding around Ponyville?"

Scootaloo immediately hugged Rainbow tightly, Rainbow felt a little uncomfortable. "Rainbow Dash! You're okay! I was just speeding to the hospital to see if you were alright, I heard what you did. You're amazing!" Rainbow swam in the glory her friend stated, and then Rainbow remembered the true hero.

"Scoots, I think the real hero was Applejack, she saved me from dying. She should have more glory than I should have" Rainbow smiled down at Scootaloo.

Scootaloo smiled back and hugged her again, only sending small chills down Rainbow's spine. "I should thank her too I guess?" Rainbow nodded and Scootaloo went and searched for her scooter, she found it and got on it.

"Hey scoot, are you heading to Sweet Apple Acers?"

"Yeah, why?" Scootaloo looked back at Rainbow, she was slowing down her scooter.

"I'm heading to Sweet Apple Acers too, so we could go together" Scootaloo motioned for Rainbow to follow her, they talked about how Rainbow stopped the hurricane and Rainbow asked how Scootaloo was doing in school and how she was doing with her friends.

The usual was said, Scootaloo, Sweetie and Applebloom were trying different ways to get their cutie marks. Scootaloo said they tried tennis, alchemy and even tried reading. After Scootaloo finished talking about the adventures she had with her friends, Rainbow asked where the two were on the night of the hurricane.

"Were they at the party? Because I never saw them there and I heard they got invited" Scootaloo just shrugged.

"I've never seen them for about 4 days, they don't seem to be home today either" Rainbow thought about how they might have gotten hurt.

Scootaloo saw that Rainbow was thinking hard on something, she had an idea of what it was and decided to try and comfort her. "I'm sure they're okay, it's not like them to not be home, but they could just be doing something"

It never really comforted Rainbow, as she was still concerned of where the two of them were. Rainbow decided that after she went to Sweet Apple Acers, she would go visit Rarity to see if she knew anything about where the two fillies were.

"So Scoots, is there any reason why you're going to Sweet Apple Acers?" Scootaloo hesitated to answer as she turned round to look at Rainbow.

"I'm going over to see if Applebloom was there, you know? See if she is okay" Rainbow raised an eye at Scootaloo.

"Why wouldn't Applebloom be okay?" Scootaloo just shrugged and continued leading Rainbow to Sweet Apple Acers.
