I watched as a part of the ceiling fell toward Shinoa. Kimizuki pulled her out of the way.

"Thanks Kimizuki." She said.

"Well I can't have you dying, can I?"
They stared into each other's eyes. I heard Mitsuba shout, "Hey lovebirds, in case you've forgotten, we're in a burning building! Save the smooches for later!"

Over the violent crackling of the fire, I heard voices. One of them was Mika's. It sounded strained.

"Never," I heard him choke out.

"Just drink the blood, all my stab wounds will dissappear." I froze. Was that Ferid? Was he the one to betray the vampires?

As I ran up the stairs, a vampire lunged at me, so I got ready to block it. To my surprise and fear, he feinted at the last moment. My sword clattered onto the floor and tumbled down the stairs. I glared up at the vampire. Just because I'm going to die doesn't mean I'll go willingly. Right before he sliced, an arrow sprouted into his back. He crumpled but leaving the surprised expression.

"Guys!" I shouted. "You stay here and guard the door. I'll go in." I held out a hand to Shinoa. "My sword."

She walked up to me with it. To my annoyance she whacked me with it. "Tough, I'm coming with you."

I facepalmed myself. "You don't know how to not be infuriating."

She smiled. "It's one of my best qualities."

"If it helps you sleep at night, and with your Boyfriend Kimizuki." I smirked. She opened her mouth to retaliate but I shushed her, placing my ear onto the door. I heard Mika scream.

"NO STOP!!"

"Then drink the blood."

"Guys if either yuu or Me call for help, one of you come to our aid, each time," Shinoa instructed.

Then we both invaded the room.

I've watched countless people fight and die but this was gruesome. Ferid was holding the queen in his arms while she glared at him with murderous intent. I looked at Mika and found a bloody mess with a tuft of blonde hair. I staggered as images came back to me. I watched my life flash from the point when I had my first kiss to the point when Mika had pushed me away to save myself.

I snapped back to reality. Never again will I lose my friends. I ran to mika. I flipped him over. Blood was pouring out from his gut, and leaking through his mouth.

"Mika!" I desperately tried to staunch the flow of blood. "No..." I whispered.

Ferid let out a laugh. "Aw, is the pretty princess sad without her prince?"

I stood up. "You did this. YOU KILLED MIKA!"  I screamed charging him, but this time Shinoa pulled me back.

Ferid raised one of his hands in mock surrender "He isn't dead, vampires take a long time to die. Even the vampires you reduce to black dust using demons have some fraction of life left." He chortled. "A bit of human blood should remove all of those."

I nodded. "Very well." I took my sword and cut my wrist. Then I strode over to Mika, and held my wrist over his mouth.

And she's alive!!!! God it's been so long but I had had been focusing on my new joint account and Solangelo books... It's actually been a while since updating literally anything except on me and my friend's new joint account @william_solace! If you like no. 6, read our fanfic plzzz!!
