The Wolf Hero Pt. 1

This is a OC x BNHA story. I'm so sorry. this is over 20,000 words so it'll take a while to get through.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

Ōkami Mochizuki PoV:

I sit at the dining room table. My mom on my right and dad on my left. "Are you going to do the U.A. entrance exam, sweetie?" Mom asks with a small smile. I look up from my plate of food and return the smile.

"It's worth a shot," I reply as I stare into her beautiful sparkly blue eyes.

"We believe in you, son," my dad says.

"Thanks dad!" I look at him. I gobble up the last of my toast and say goodbye before rushing out of the house and to school. My family aren't the richest but we also aren't the poorest. We live in a one story modern flat but I like it. It's spacious and comfy at the same time. My room is small but I'm not complaining. I run down the crowded streets and towards Aldera Junior High. It's pretty far down on the food chain. I slow down at the sight of other students. I huff loudly and mix in with the swarm of black uniforms.

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future... But you all want to become heroes don't you?" The teacher says loudly and throws the sheet of papers all over the room. The students all cheer and activate their Quirks but I don't. I like to keep a low profile when it comes to social gatherings. "I know you are all excited but using Quirks are not permitted at school!" He shouts.

"Teach! Don't lump us all in the same group. I'm not going to be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects!" Katsuki Bakugou shouts from his seat. The class turns around to stare at his laid back posture.

Here we go again... I groan quietly to myself. "That was uncalled for, Katsuki!" The class shouts at him.

"You all should shut up like the extras you are!" Bakugou growls.

"Oh, if I remember correctly, you want to go to U.A. High, right, Bakugou?" The teacher breaks through the commotion.

"U.A.? The national school?!" A student asks rhetorically.

"It was in the top 0.2% this year, you know!" Another student exclaims.

"Their acceptance rate's always really low, too!" Another student shouts.

"That's exactly why you guys are just extras!" – Bakugou jumps on top of his desk – "I aced the mock test! I'm the only one in this school who could possibly get into U.A. I'll definitely surpass All Might and become the top hero! My name 'll be inscribed on the list of top earners!" He says confidently.

"Oh, yeah, Midoriya wanted to go to U.A., too, right?" The teacher says and looks at a reclining fluffy green haired boy.

The class stares at the boy as if he is insane and erupts into laughter but once again, I stay silent. "Huh? Midoriya? No way!" A student laughs.

"You can't get into the hero course just by studying!" Another student says.

Th-They got rid of that rule! There's just no precedent..." Midoriya reasons.

Bakugou stomps over to Midoriya's desk and slams his fist on it. "Hey, Deku! You're below the rejects! You're Quirkless! How can you stand in the same ring as me?" Bakugou snarls dangerously at the timid boy.

"No, wait, Kacchan! It's not like I'm trying to compete with you or anything!" Midoriya falls off his chair and scoots back against a wall. "Believe me! It's just that it's been my goal ever since I was little. And well...I won't know unless I try..." He timidly finishes as he stares down at his pants as if they are the most interesting things in the world.

Bakugo towers over the timid, fragile boy. "Whaddya mean, unless you try?! Are you out taking the test for fun?! What the hell can you do? You're Quirkless!" Bakugo shouts, causing Midoriya to flinch in fear. God I hate that boy.

~Time Skip~

"Bakugo really likes to draw attention..." I groan as I flop onto my bed. I'm so tired from the day but I have to do some form of Quirk or physical training. I stare up at my white ceiling before turning my head to the left and spotting my white, second-hand ice-skates hanging off my wardrobe handle. I prop myself onto my elbows and stare at them. "It's been a while and it's helpful for my balance..." I whisper to myself. I push myself off my bed and change into a dark blue tank top, black leggings and a white jacket. I grab the skates, a water bottle and some money.

I walk out of the house with my light grey runners on and start jogging to the nearby rink. I pull open the door and get met with a cold breeze, making me feel refreshed and comfortable. The place is practically deserted since it's the middle of the school week. I walk over to the counter and get met by a black haired woman. "Just you?" I nod my head in response and grab out five two hundred yen bills and hand it to her. "This will give you an hour and a half on the rink. Do you need skates?" I shake my head no.

"Uh, can I have a locker key?" I ask quietly. I'm not good with socializing with people I'm not familiar with.

"that will be an extra five hundred yen." She smiles at me. I pull out another five hundred and she exchanges it for a key. I snatch it out of her hand politely and walk into the locker room. I open locker two and take my shoes off and store them in there. Then I put on my ice skates and lock the locker shut.

I walk onto the ice, suddenly feeling the smoothness underneath me. I've missed it so much. I skate around the rink a few times and then do some one legged jumps and just skate around on one leg.

I stay there for an hour and a half, jumping a bit but mainly doing one-legged skating. I switch my skates for my runners and return the key to the counter. I walk outside and notice the suns going to start setting soon. I groan and run home. My parents work really late so they don't usually get home till nine or ten. I slam my bedroom door shut and immediately start doing push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, squats, wall sits and so on. By the time my body feels ready to die, it's seven thirty so I hobble over to the bathroom and take a nice cold shower.

"Quirk training tomorrow..." I whisper to myself as I scrub my body clean of sweat. The cold water trails down my bulky arms and six pack I've gained over the course of the past six months. "Only ten more months until the entrance exam begins." I turn the tap off and step onto the warm bathroom tiles. I grab a towel and dry off my soaking body and wrap it around my waist. I pull the door to the now cold bathroom open and get hit with a wave of warm air. I walk through the empty halls and to my room where I pull on a pair of boxers and trackpants before sitting down at my desk and studying for the exams.
