At the age of five Katsuki was diagnosed with ADHD, chronic ADHD to be precise. He began on medication straight away and kept increasing the dosage until the age of 13. As he grew up, he was an impulsive person with pent-up anger for his parents. Izuku Midoriya followed the boy around like a lost puppy. This didn't necessarily anger Katsuki, but he took it as an opportunity to let out his anger on the small bean-boy.
By the age of ten, his parents began taking week long business trips and only leaving two hundred dollars for him. He didn't understand the price of things and ended up spending it all on training equipment, thinking he'd have enough to buy food. He found himself starving for that week but he felt happy as he watched the number on the scale decrease and he felt in control of something in his life for once. At the age of fourteen, Katsuki's parents were leaving on trips that last nearly a month. He took the money and hid it so he could move out sooner and left himself to starve

Katsuki stares at the number on the scale. What used to please him, does the opposite. Instead of feeling happy at the dropping number, he feels scared for his future.
He thought he was in control of his eating but the second he thought about getting a snack, a voice in his head told him he'd get fat. He ignored the consistent nagging and ate half a bowl of pasta. It tasted good, but it also tasted like weight gain. With that in mind and the critics in his head, he took a 8 mile run through the chilly air.
Ever since that incident Katsuki knew he needed to stop what he was doing to his body. With every attempt to eat something came with a pass to exercise. After two months of failed attempts, he finally admitted to himself that he needs help.
Stepping off the scale, Bakugou takes a deep breath and tries to block out the voice telling him to exercise past comfort. He retaliates and changes into his school uniform before heading down to the kitchen. he rummages through the draws for his vitamin supplements, the one thing keeping his hair in his head. The calendar stares at him and he stares back intensely. He stares at the date then realising his parents are going to be home the next day and he needs to journey to the food store. He hates that place. Shaking the worry from mind, he brews a few cups of black coffee and drinks them as fast as he can.
Leaving the house, he becomes cold. The sun beats down but he doesn't feel it, all he feels is the cold. He pulls on his blazer and journey's towards U.A.. Katsuki has already decided on who he wants to tell his eating habits to. His homeroom teacher is
