The Downfall of L'Manberg
The shots of arrows coming from the opposing sides whizzed past Tommy and Wilbur's heads as they fled the scene. Jschlatt had just established their citizenship as void and having everyone go after them. Some refused but others were already on it.
Former president and vice president ran through the wilderness, dodging arrows and trying to lose the others in the heated chase. The voice that echoed out through the land sent shivers down Wilbur's spine:
"We don't take L's here. We're changing the name to Manberg! Down with the walls, we're going to let more people into my land!" Schlatt announced.
Wilbur wanted nothing more than to go and strangle Schlatt, but he held himself back, returning to the only thing they could do: Run.
They finally settled themselves into the land panting as they stopped running.
"We need to go back," Wilbur said. Tommy was hesitant but Wil started walking back before the younger boy could convince him not to go. They walked quietly down to L'Manberg- Manberg, sorry- and stopped from a distance.
They both inhaled sharply as they saw the scene: the wall of their nation was being torn down, brick by brick. Wilbur's face twisted in horror and hatred. Horror, because of what was being done, and hatred for Schlatt and Quackity. He opened his mouth and began to sing quietly.
"I heard there was a special place, where men could go and emancipate. The brutality and the tyranny of their rulers," A tear slid down Wil's face as he watched Fundy, his son tear down the walls.
"Well, this place is real you needn't fret, with Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, frick Eret," his voice was shaking now as Tommy just listened, flinching at the mention of Tubbo's name.
"It's a very big, not blown up," he breathed in shakily, "L'Manberg."
"My L'Manberg. It's L'Manberg. It's L'Manberg," Wil turned to Tommy sadly as the boy joined in, savoring the last words and spreading their nation's name longer, "My L'Manberg."
They sang it again and again, watching as the walls of L'Manberg were torn down in front of their eyes. Quackity caught sight of them but didn't alarm anyone. Instead, he looked at them, squinting his eyes with a malicious smile. Tommy wanted to go slap the smugness off his face but he held himself back. Schlatt appeared by Quackity's side, placing his hand on his shoulder and looking Tommy dead in the eyes. The business man smirked, knowing he was victorious. He turned on his heel and left, Quackity followed.
"We'd better head back, Wilbur." Tommy said, grimly.
Behind them stood the people that Wilbur and Tommy had thought of as friends. Tubbo and Niki looked to the spot where Quackity had just been staring at, only to see nothing. Eret stood watching the walls being destroyed by the others, his fists clenched at his sides.
Tommy listened to the deafening sound of bricks being thrown to the floor by the hands of their friends and walked faster back to their new nation, Pogtopia.
