Through his foggy thoughts, Tommy eventually was able to break out of his slumber. He looked around the dimly lit hospital room tiredly, wondering how he had gotten there. Gradually, the events that had occurred came back to him, and Tommy groaned, knowing he should have taken better care of himself. It wasn't the first time he had gone to the hospital because of his blood pressure. Back when he was bullied, he was too discouraged to take care of himself, shutting himself off in his room. That was the first time they found out he was suffering from low blood pressure, and it was a terrifying experience Tommy wished he could have avoided.

Using what limited strength he had, Tommy sat up in the hospital bed. He relaxed his shoulders and looked up to the ceiling. He was so glad Wilbur couldn't see him right then. A light knock on the door sounded in the room, but before Tommy could open his mouth, a nurse came in. When they caught sight of him, they were surprised.

"Oh!" The nurse stuttered. "You actually have some visitors. I told them that you were resting, but I could ask them to come back."

"Did they say who they were?" Tommy asked sheepishly.

"Uh, I believe one of them said their name was Wilbur?"

Wilbur, Phil, and Techno were sat waiting on a hard-cushioned bench. Wilbur had met with the others just outside the hospital. They spoke with Tommy's parents briefly, who were sadly required to work that day (they were devastated that they couldn't stay with their son), but they let the doctors know that they were family, which the Sleepy Boys appreciated. They had been waiting for 30 minutes before a nurse went in to check on the boy. Wilbur asked again if they could see Tommy, but she just shook his head, telling him he needed to rest. She came out shortly after telling them it would be all right for them to go in.

Wilbur immediately stood up, bursting through the door- much to the nurse's dismay- rushing over to Tommy's side. Techno followed behind briskly as Phil apologized to the nurse. Tommy had tried to prepare himself to see his friends, but he was still apprehensive and ashamed about the condition he was in. Wilbur kneeled down next to the hospital bed, eye-level to Tommy.

"Are you alright?" Wil asked, his brow furrowed.

"Ffffff... Yeah- Wait- Yeah," he stammered, glancing nervously at Techno, who stood behind Wilbur, crossing his arms.

Phil came over, giving Tommy a small smile. "We were worried about you." Tommy's face burned red, and he looked away, down at his feet under the ugly white hospital blanket.

"Why are you guys even over here?"

"We were originally going to pay a surprise visit to you because we missed talking to you..." Phil started. "But we heard you were sick, so we came here instead."

"I've missed you guys, too," Tommy mumbled.

Techno was biting his tongue, trying not to lecture the boy, but he eventually couldn't help saying it. "If you missed us, why didn't you call us???"

There was so much questioning in Techno's voice that everyone was startled. Tommy paused, thinking about the question for a moment.

"I guess I just thought I'd be bothering you since you'd all moved on..." He admitted, fiddling with his fingers.

"Tommy," Wilbur said seriously. "You will never bother us if it's a serious matter- missing someone is a serious matter."

"Yeah, I guess," Tommy whispered.

Techno cleared his throat. "Sooo... When are you getting out of here because I didn't waste more than $1,000 just to see you sitting in a hospital bed." Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy all broke out in uncontrollable laughter, and Techno smirked.

"I don't know, probably tomorrow," Tommy struggled to say through his laughter. Wilbur nodded his head, standing up.

"Well, we'll see you tomorrow so you can get some rest now?" Wil asked, and Tommy nodded his head. Wilbur smiled, patting Tommy's head. "You better take it easy, Tommy."
