Heyyy guys!
How are you all doing?
I haven't uploaded in a while, so this poem is a tribute to my Grandma. I've been thinking about her for sometime, so I just decided to write this poem.
She passed on when I was really young tho, and I still  miss her everyday.
I pray for everyone reading this that has lost someone special; may you find peace. Thank you.

I would never have believed,
If I were ever told that your voice in my head would one day cease,
I would never have thought that one day I'd be left to struggle,
To remember your voice which was once my haven.

I still remember your face,
How you always looked at me with grace,
How you shielded me from your daughter's wrath,
And if you couldn't, petted me in the aftermath.

How I wish I was old enough,
I would have taken pictures and videos to last an eternity,
Because all that's left are memories,
Which I use at night to create my own fantasies.

Time has taken away your voice,
But I swear it was never by choice,
Let it however be known to time,
That it can't take away your face I see at bedtime.

I will love you till the day after forever,
Because you made me better
I believe if I hold on to the memories longer,
Somehow you'll still live forever.
