It was just yesterday
All felt warm n so close.
And then feelings and actions astray;
What led to enclose
This feeling of betrayal?
To you it all seems dismal
But what else can I expect
Stone compressing the life out of tree
Can hardly compare their sect.
Maybe it's not about being a stone or tree;
About being ignorant and emotional;
Maybe this is what's real...
What feels real is a lie
All the trust has to belie.
Ideologies, thoughts change
There's this wide range
With it's inherent nature
To create distance.
Past seems to enrapture
An illusion of a time which was once.
Life is about to live with this acceptance
Cooling memories turning to present burns;
Acclimatizing to the flux of reality...
Getting mature enough to overcome the duality!
