Chapter 3

      Bored. That's how I spent the next 3 days. Bored out of my mind. I would walk around doing basically nothing. Mommy wasn't playing with me as much. Just sitting at her computer. I was so excited when she came out, I didn't care why. She sat with us in the living room of the apartment. That's when my day got good.

    "Alright guys. Oh, you're going to love this. Well, I found a house we can afford!" I didn't understand. We had a home. Why were we going to change it? "A house. As in with a backyard. Pepper, that means we'll have a doggy dog and you can go out whenever you want! And Ginger, this means I can start letting you go out a few minutes each day. I'll slowly start letting you out more. Isn't this just great?! I felt my ears perk up.

     I can... I can go outside!! Oh, this is great!! And Pepper, you can go out whenever you want! I looked in his direction. His small ears had perked too, but now he was casing his tail. Oh. That's why your not talking. OK, then... I call Mommy!! I ran over to where she was standing and rubbed her feet.

     "Awww. You want me pick you up, don't you? Yes you do, yes you do!" With that note, she picked me up and craddled me in her arms. I begin to pur.
     Purrrrr. I love you Mommy. Purrrr. You always know exactly what I want Purrrrrrr. Thank you. Purrrrrrrrrrr
