Chapter 5

Draft

Terra waved to the moving people as they drove away. Through the bars on my carrying cage, I could see our new house. The front yard had the nicest green grass. The house itself was painted sky blue and had a stone walkway to the front door. The roof was a nice shade of baze. While I was examining our new house, I suddenly felt my world rubble. I shrunk back in my cage as Terra picked it up and walked to the front door.

I was amazed by how huge our new home was. When we walked in, the first thing we saw was a ton of boxes. I felt small compared to all of them. I think we were in the family room. 

We continued walking, and I saw a big open space. It had just one big box with a picture on it. It was picture of a nice set of a  table and chairs.

We walked past the open space, past what I thought to be a kitchen, past what I thought to be a office, and into what I thought to be Terra's room. Wow, I think a lot of things...

She set us down and walked back into one of the other rooms.

We sat there, not saying anything until she came back. She picked us up again, and brought us to the living room. She set us down and bent down in front of us and smiled.

"Hey, guys! Ready to see the new house!" I started meowing and circling my cage. I heard Pepper barking in his cage next to mine. "O.K.!" Terra shouted. She pulled opened our cage doors and we both ran out to explore.
