New Beginnings

AN: If you have NOT SEEN Star Wars then read at your own risk, if you cannot see Star Wars then I advise to not read, if you can but haven't, then do so, RIGHT NOW, and if you have only seen Episode VII, wellll, then you probably won't get a lot of this anyways. So all I am saying is read at your own risk, this could or could not contain spoilers for you, so it's your choice. It's a great story though, even if you haven't, but if you do plan on watching Star Wars, then watch it first before reading this :)

This is my spin on Star Wars if Episode III: Revenge of the Sith had ended differently)

Leia's POV

I hesitantly stood in the hallway, peering into the bedroom. My mother was on the bed and father stood next to her. My brothers, Luke and Paxton, pushed past me, running to father. I slowly walked in and my parents looked to me, their faces bright with joy. A small face appeared from the swaddled being in mother's arms as I stepped forward. "Leia, come here and meet your new sister," Father whispered and I smiled widely, I finally had a sister. Father lifted me onto the bed and I knelt close to Mother. Luke and Paxton were already peering over her as they looked over Mother's shoulder.

"Leia darling, do you want to hold her?" Mother asked and I smiled brightly.

"Can I?" I asked, feeling excitement at the prospect.

"Of course," she answered with a smile, as she gently placed the tiny being into my waiting arms. I looked down into my baby sister's face, her bright eyes looking up at the light.

"She has lots of hair," I giggled, noticing the brown tuft of hair on her head, watching as she yawned a bit.

Mother smiled with a nod, "yes, similar to you," she smiled. I grinned and planted a small kiss on her head.

"What's her name?" I asked, looking up for a moment.

"We've decided on Alora," Mother answered with a smile, holding my father's hand.

"I love it, and her," I grinned, giving her another kiss.

"Leia, do you want to let your brothers have a turn now?" Father asked and I sighed, but looked up at him.

"Can I hold her again, after they're done?" I asked and he chuckled, nodding his head yes. I grinned and waited patiently as Luke held her and then Paxton, whom mom helped since he was only three.

Padme's POV

I watched as Leia's eyes sparkled, doting over her baby sister. I had hoped for this, but the two had a stronger connection than I had expected, but I was thankful. I yawned tiredly, my body was sore and tired, but the little girl was worth it. Both boys were instantly smitten, and I was grateful, considering Luke had wanted another brother. Before long Ani had to remind Leia she needed to go to bed, she reluctantly agreed and gave Alora back. She hopped off the bed and followed her maid to her bedroom. I watched the two leave with a small smile.

I turned as I watched Anakin with Alora, he gently cradled her in his arms, tenderly kissing her forehead, his attention focused on her. He smiled as his big hand enwrapped her tiny one and he whispered to her as he stroked her head. My heart swelled with love for both, moments like these were treasured as I knew it could've taken a turn, years before. The thought of not getting to see the twins grow up or knowing Paxton or Alora wouldn't even be here, made my heart ever grateful for these days. Especially when so many were spent fighting the Separatists' ways, bringing the war to an end. But there was hope and that's what we fought for.

Tears began to fall as I thought of all these things and Anakin noticed, immediately sitting down and placing a firm, but gentle hand on my back. "What's wrong? Why are crying?" He asked, concern shining in his eyes. I looked up at him and shook my head, unable to speak. I laid my head on his chest and cried softly, he embraced me with one arm and I leaned in closer.

"I love you," I whispered, able to speak now and I sat up, looking at him. "I love you, thank you for being my Ani," I spoke and he smiled with a nod, placing his hand on my cheek, wiping the tears.

"And thank you for being my Padme," he whispered back and gently kissed my forehead. The two of us settling into each other. I smiled softly, looking down at Alora, who was sleeping peacefully. "She looks a lot like you," He grinned, "thankfully," he added and I chuckled quietly.

"But she does have your lips and your long fingers," I pointed out with a smile.

"That is true," he nodded and then looked to me as I yawned. "How about you rest for a bit while I take care of this one?" He suggested and I nodded.

"That sounds perfect," I answered, I placed a soft kiss on Alora's cheek and then positioned myself on the bed, before falling into a light sleep.

Anakin's POV

I moved to the rocking chair to let Padme catch some sleep. I watched her for a brief moment as I began rocking and I smiled, prouder than ever over our family. I looked down at Alora asher tiny hands stretched, bringing a smile to my face. "If I didn't know any better, another girl has stolen your heart, again," a familiar voice spoke. I looked up with a grin as Obi walked in quietly.

"Maybe, but when you look at that face," I shrugged and stood up. Alora was still asleep and he looked down at her.

"My, my, isn't she a beauty," he admired, "she takes much after Padme," he nodded, like it was a good thing. "No offense Anakin, but between the two of you, I'd hope your girls take after their mother," he quickly added.

I chuckled and shook my head, "I agree; now Alora, say hi to your Unle Obi," I spoke and held her arm, gently moving as if she was saying hi.

Obi-Wan laughed quietly, shaking his head with a smile, he gently touched her cheek and I smiled. "So Alora?" He asked.

"Yes, Alora Jobal Skywalker," I smiled widely as I shared her full-name with him.

"Well chosen, a fine one; where does Jobal come from?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Padme's mother, Leia has my mother's middle name, so she has her's," I explained and he nodded. "Oh, would you like to hold her?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I can't stay long, I'll come by later and then I will. Tell Padme I said congratulations. May the force be with you," He nodded before departing from the room

"And may the force be with you," I bid him goodbye. I returned to the chair and began humming a lullaby softly to Alora. An hour later Padme had woken up and it was around that time when she grew fussy. I handed her over and her hungry cries were soon quieted.

I watched from the bedside and couldn't help but smile as I watched Padme. She looked up with a soft smile and my own grew wider. "Obi stopped by when you were asleep, he said congratulations, he said he'll stop by again and stay a little longer next time,"

She smiled, nodding her head; "did she do well when I was asleep?"

"She was an angel, I think she'll be the peacemaker in the family," I smiled and she nodded. After Alora finished the three of us went to bed, as it was late and we all had a very eventful day.

3 Years Later...

Luke's POV

I slowly walked through the hallways, looking back and forth as I held my light-saber close. While Mother made lunch with my little sister, Emuna; the rest of us, Father, Leia, Alora and Paxton where playing Clone Wars.

I smirked as I saw the curtain move, knowing it was probably Alora, she usually would hide and then try to run. I silently crept over and then pulled back the curtain. No one was there, it was the open window causing the curtain to move. I rolled my eyes and went past it, holding my wooden gun up, pressed along the wall as I continued searching. I froze as I heard footsteps and quickly dashed to the curtain, holding my breath as they walked by.  I sighed as they continued on and stepped out, it was one of our maids. Once she was gone I continued onward.

I paused at the gap, where the hallway continued or branched into a living room. I looked around quickly, before taking a step back and rolling across. I smiled in victory at the success. I quickly came to my hiding spot, but first checked the entire room before I dashed to the bookshelf. I began climbing upward and then suddenly heard laughter. Lone behold, Alora was behind me with the toy light-saber touching my foot, Father, Paxton and Leia behind her, grinning victoriously. I groaned and climbed down, but smiled slightly as Alora giggled, her blue eyes shining as her brown curls bounced with her jumps.

"We won! We won! We won!" She shouted happily and Leia grinned.

"Told you Luke, you wouldn't have expected that," Leia smirked, giving Father and Paxton a high-five.

"You mean you guys planned to give it to Rory?" I sighed and Leia laughed, father chuckling as they both nodded their heads, all the while Alora jumped in glee, holding the lightsaber with victory. I shook my head in defeat, smiling as Alora giggled. "You got me good Rory," I grinned as I picked her up. "Can we play another round Dad?" I quickly asked and he was about to speak when Mother called from the kitchen, saying lunch was ready.

"Well, that round will have to wait, let's go and get some food first." He smiled, taking Alora as I nodded. I ran ahead with Paxton to the kitchen and dashed to the table.

"Well, someone looks happy," Mother spoke, smiling as Paxton climbed onto a chair.

"We won!" He yelled, raising up his hands and Mother gasped.

"You mean to tell me that Luke didn't win this time? You guys actually won?" She asked and Paxton smiled, nodding his head and raising his eyebrows. "And how did you do that?" She asked as father walked in with Leia and Alora. I walked over to Emuna, who was in a high chair eating some food, giving her a kiss on her chubby cheeks before climbing into a chair. I heard Paxton about to speak but Leia stopped him.

"Wait, Paxton, we don't want to tell Mama with Luke here," she quickly spoke and Paxton looked at her curiously. "So we can continue winning without having to think of an entirely new plan," she explained as she took a seat next to him

"Ohhh, okay," he nodded and then turned to Mother, asking what they were having. Mother answered him and we all cheered, as it was one of our favorites. I looked around the table, happy to have an awesome family, even if they sometimes beat me at games.

- The End

Hey guys! So this story just derived from some art I was scrolling through on Pinterest, the idea had come from what if Anakin hadn't turned bad, what would have happened and how would life looked like? Now, I still think that Ani's and Padme's love story is the best one I have ever come across, the saddest one as well and I am sad in the way it turned out, but at the same time I like it, because it's not just a classic boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl and boy gets girl back love story. The story they shared was beautiful and bittersweet. So I just want to let you know, this is not one where I am saying that Star Wars should have changed the story, but instead just a short story of the two if they hadn't turned bad and Padme lived and so on.

Also the light-sabers they used in the game were not actual ones, they were toy ones for the game. And one other thing, just a cool little thing I wanted to share, Paxton actually means Peaceful Town, so I thought that really cool and very appropriate because in this story, because Anakin wouldn't have turned bad, had stayed good and not only that he would have helped to restore peace: and Adair actually means Courageous One and Emuna is Hebrew for Faith, just in case if you were wondering. :)

Disclaimer: All of this is fictional, Disney owns Star Wars, the only things I own in this story are my own characters, Paxton, Adair and Emuna.

Okay, so just a question... what is your favorite Star Wars Movie?

Mine would have to be Episode I, II, III and VII, I can't pick just one XD

Also this story is dedicated to my amazing friend Livvie! My amazing BFF and also a fellow Amidala shipper :)
