She's gone. My Princess has left me...left us. Her room is empty and we have no way of contacting her. Dr. Roberts, knowing that she's gone, and what it's probably done to us, gave us these journals to express our feelings, but all I'm feeling is pain. He says that it's to stop us from acting out in a destructive way.
Yeah right. Like anything can stop North and Nathan from being destructive.
Apparently Kayli's gone too. They're together, her and Princess...fixing their broken friendship I suppose...I'm happy for them. I'd feel better if she was in my arms though. We all would. All this craziness happened so fast that I haven't even had the chance to digest all that's happened in the last 72 hours. How we shared a magical night just a few days ago and now she's gone.
That night was perfect, more than I could've even hoped for. I wouldn't change anything about it, but now she's gone.
How the hell could we let this happen? It couldn't have just been because Gabe jumped to conclusions and lost his temper. No, that couldn't be it. That wouldn't be the end all be all. Sang would've gotten upset, but she would've stuck around to let us explain. She always lets us explain. She must have been on the fence about leaving for a while now...probably longer than any of us knew.
She said in her letter that she didn't want to break us up. How many other arguments did she see that we didn't notice? How many closed door meetings with raised voices? This all could've been prevented if she just waited to hear us out!
Somehow, I knew we wouldn't see her again after she left the ball that night...but still...some part of me held out hope. She loves us...loves me, she told me! Even without all the fame and the money, that she'd still love me. She said it was the inside of a person that mattered, and that my heart shined as bright as the fire in my eyes. I have no idea what she meant by that, but I liked it. She didn't want my money, she just wanted me...us. She even asked me not to spend my money on her! Ha! Like that would ever happen. I'd spend all the money in all of my accounts, buy her everything her heart desires, if only she'd come back to us. Back to me.
I know that's not how we'll get her back, but a guy can dream. She doesn't want jewelry or any of that fancy, pricey stuff all those society girls back home used to beg me for. She's genuine. All she wanted was us, and we blew it.
We have to find a way to get her back, to make her see that it's ok if we fight occasionally. We're brothers, that's what family does. But she didn't grow up with a loving family. She didn't have people that loved her unconditionally, no matter how many times they fought. We were her example of family, and sometimes family fights. But fighting in Sang's house was never a good thing. It always led to her punishments. She doesn't understand that with a real family, at the end of the day, no matter how many fights you have, there's always love. There's nothing that any of us wouldn't do for the others.
It's family first. Always. Princess is apart of this family now. We just have to show her. We have to bring her back to us. There's no other way for our family to be complete. Princess, we're coming for you.
