I really believe that Annabeth is going to adopt a cat. That cat will cuddle with her when she's working and really adore her. Percy hates the cat because it despises water. So he goes out and gets a huge aquarium and get like twenty fish which he then lowers to two (so they aren't lonely) because they are giving him migraines. Annabeth is just laughing silently in the background stroking the cat at Percy's dilemma.
