As I started to wake up, I could hear Damien calling my name from the Dining Room. I sighed, got dressed, and ran downstairs as fast as I could. "There you are.. We've been yelling for you for ten minutes.." Damien states, rather seriously. My twin brother comes downstairs to help me prepare breakfast. We were quite the pair, my brother and I. I'm just glad he wasn't kicked out or anything like that yet. When we finished cooking, we set the food on trays, and rang the bell before exiting the kitchen and walking into the Dining Room to serve breakfast. As we finished, there was a knock on the door. My mother asked- well.. Rather ordered me to see who it was. I curtsy and walk to the front door and answer it, revealing my friend Richard, the prince's brother. I smile. "Greetings Richard, what might you be doing here this fine morning?" I ask him. He hands me four envelopes.

 "There are invitations to my brother's ball. I'm sure you'd love to meet him my lady. He made sure to invite you and your.. er.. Wonderful family..." He replies with a slight smile. I curtsy to him. "Thank you sir.. I'll be sure to inform them." He smiles and bows. "Pleased to see you again my lady. Hope to see you there. My siblings and I are counting on it.." I smile and nod as I close the door. I look at the invitations and open mine, revealing a beautifully hand-written card saying "We invite you to join the Prince Vincent and Princess Violet's ball. The young pair would like to throw this ball to find their match. Hope your presence is there." I walk into the Dining Room excitedly and hand everyone their invitations. My mother stands up, mouth open. "The ball? We're all invited...?" My step brother smiles. "This may be my chance to meet the dear princess.." Of course, I wouldn't be going.. I'm not so sure about Dipper either... I very highly doubt it.
