Christmas was right around the corner and it felt unreal that this year had flew by.

Evan Peters woke up to the sound of light snores coming from his beautiful lady sleeping beside him as he turned over and placed a kiss on her lips and smiled.

Jessica woke up to see him staring at her, his eyes almost fluttering back to sleep but the quiet didn't last for long as their adorable little girl Grace, came running into their bedroom with their family dog Jack jumped up on their bed.

"Good morning sweetheart." Evan said as Jessica smiled.

"Good morning to you too baby." Jessica said as she smiled down at their daughter.

"Mommy, we need some treats. Jack said it's not fair that Santa gets cookies and he doesn't get any treats." Grace said.

"He has some in his stocking, now c'mon baby, we need to get dressed." Jessica said as she got up and took Grace's hand and led her to her bedroom to get her dressed for her last day before Christmas break.

"I can't wait to give my teacher her gingerbread house and cookies." Grace said as Jessica looked at her tablet and phone to see if she had any orders come in and then, started in breakfast for her and her family.

...

Evan walked in the kitchen to see Jessica propped up against the island as Grace was happily eating her chocolate chip pancakes.

"Jess?" Evan asked.

"Hmm?" Jessica asked as she took a drink of her coffee while looking through a couple of orders on her iPad.

"What do you want for Christmas? I need to know." Evan said.

"I already told you sweetheart that I don't want anything." Jessica said.

"Okay, then I'll surprise you." Evan said as Jessica kissed him.

"You always do but I already bought one of your gifts." Jessica said as Evan smiled.

"Really?" Evan asked.

"Yeah, I think you'll like it." Jessica said.

"You know I will." Evan said.

"So, we have a couple of customers who want our gingerbread cookies and also some of your famous coconut snowballs." Jessica said.

"You mean coconut clusters?" Evan questioned.

"Yes, but I wanted it to sound Christmas like." Jessica said.

"I know, but you need to slow down. You're always on the go and you barely make time for yourself." Evan said.

"Because I can't just sit down, I mean, with Grace, the bakery booming and wanting to spend some personal time with you. I barely have time to do anything for myself and I'm fine with that." Jessica said.

"Well, I did get you something and I want you to go spend the day, pampering yourself. You deserve it baby and maybe see if Sarah or Susan wants to go with you." Evan said as he got the envelope and handed it to her and she opened it.

"Honey, I can't leave you without any help." Jessica said as Evan wrapped his arms around her.

"Me and Finn have the back and Holland has the front. Everything will be fine and I want you to go and just have the best day ever." Evan said.

"Okay, but next time, I want us to go together." Jessica said.

"That sounds like a plan." Evan said as Jessica kissed him.

"Alright, well we gotta take this little monkey to school before she's late." Jessica said as she made sure Grace had everything.

...

They dropped Grace off at school as something was bothering Jessica as she wanted to tell her husband.

"Evan?" She questioned.

"Yeah babe?" He answered.

"What if we spent the night, you know, just us at the house? We can call our parents and ask one of them if they can watch Grace." Jessica said.

"I'd like that." Evan said as he smiled.

"I know it's been awhile since we've had intimacy and I just really want you." Jessica said.

"Well, I have to confess that the other night, I watched you shower and I planned on initiating a couple of hours of passionate love but you were wore out from work." Evan said.

"Honey, there are ways we could initiate sex. I remember before we had Grace, we were dubbed as the powerhouse couple because we couldn't keep our hands off each other." Jessica said.

"I remember when Ryan invited us to his house for a party to celebrate the kick off for summer a few years ago, he asked if we wanted to stay the night because we both had way too much to drink and I couldn't help myself from wanting you." Evan said as Jessica remembered that night.

"That's when we decided that we were going to start trying to get pregnant." Jessica said.

"And we did, eventually. Took a few tries but I can't believe that we have a five year old now, it's crazy." Evan said as Jessica smiled.

"You know honey, I've thought about this and what do you think about maybe expanding our family?" Jessica questioned.

"Having another baby?" Evan asked.

"Yeah." Jessica smiled.

"Sweetheart, I don't know. I mean, between the bakery and Grace, I just don't think it's the best decision right at this moment." Evan said.

"I'm not getting any younger Evan and I want another child before it's too late." Jessica said.

"Where are we going to find time between both of us working all the time and all the activities Grace is in?" Evan questioned.

"You know what? Forget I ever said anything." Jessica said.

"Jess, it's clearly been bothering you and I know we've always talked about having another baby, but right now, it's just not a good idea." Evan said.

"Okay." Jessica said as Evan parked the car in front of the bakery.

"Now, I'll go get Sarah and y'all have a wonderful day." Evan said.

"No 'I love you' or a kiss?" Jessica asked.

"Come here." Evan said as they fused their lips together as Jessica moaned into the kiss.

"Mhmm... I love you Evan." Jessica said.

"I love you too Jessica." Evan said as Sarah came out, lighting up a cigarette as she smiled over at her bosses.

"Sarah, those things are so unhealthy for you." Evan said.

"Well, it's either this or I can light up a joint? You take your pick." Sarah said.

"How about neither." Evan said as Jessica shook her head, laughing at her husband and best friend.

"I'm not against her smoking and after this week, we'll all need it." Jessica said as Evan looked at his wife like she was crazy.

"When was the last time you two smoked?" Sarah asked.

"Our wedding night." Jessica said.

"Well, maybe it's time you two learn to relax." Sarah said.

"Him? Relax? Ha!" Jessica huffed.

"What does that mean?" Evan asked his wife.

"Oh please Evan, you say that I don't relax, which I do. You're time is spent either being invested into this bakery or talking about it and you told me earlier that I was the one who never wanted sex, but it's you and only you. I try to touch you in anyway and you act like it's a big deal! And then, you say we can't have a baby because we work all the time and that Grace has activities all the time. For once, I would love to spend some very much needed time with my husband." Jessica said.

"Really? Like the other night, when we planned it and you fell asleep because you said I was taking too long?" Evan questioned.

"That's because you were!" Jessica hollered.

"Hey, you two? Cool it down before I turn the damn water hose on you both." Sarah said.

"You know what? I'm glad I'm going to spend the day with Sarah to get away from you and thank you for putting me ahead of what you really love first for once." Jessica said as she slid into the passenger seat as Sarah stared at her best friend.

"Y'all have a good day Sarah." Evan said.

"You too." Sarah said as she slid into the driver's seat and took off.

...

They arrived at the spa as Jessica was talking to the receptionist as someone led them to a room where they strip out of their clothes.

"What was that about earlier?" Sarah asked her.

"Nothing." Jessica said as they put on their robes and sat down.

"Jess?" Sarah questioned.

"Evan and I haven't had any alone time since I don't know when and I'm getting frustrated." Jessica said as Sarah looked at her.

"So, you're not getting any? Like at all?" Sarah asked as Jessica shook her head.

"Nope and when I tell him, it starts a fight like you just seen and I'm afraid and I feel like if we don't start having any time together that, our marriage might be over." Jessica said.

"No, it's not because I'm going to make sure that we get the most out of today. You're going to look so hot when you go home tonight." Sarah said.

"I doubt he'll even notice. I mean for God sakes Sarah, he barely looks at me and the only time we have a few moments together is when we first wake up, other than that, nothing." Jessica said.

"Here's what you're going to do when you go home tonight, you're going to have hot sex with your husband and he's going to pay attention to you." Sarah said.

"I don't know. If we do have sex, it's only for him to feel better." Jessica said.

"Then, spice it up." Sarah said.

"Okay, then we'll both have ourselves a merry little Christmas." Jessica said.

"You never know." Sarah said.

...

Later that night, Jessica arrived home as she seen the lights were off all throughout the house as she knew Grace was in bed but hopefully Evan wouldn't be.

"Let's see where this goes." Jessica said, getting out of Sarah's passenger side seat.

"You go get it girl!" Sarah laughed.

"I'll try." Jessica said.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Sarah said.

"I'll see you tomorrow too." Jessica said.

Jessica walked into her house and up the stairs to her bedroom as she seen Evan, working going over how much of everything they sold today as Jessica closed the door.

"Jess?" Evan questioned.

"Yeah?" Jessica answered.

"I'm sorry for acting like an ass to you earlier." Evan said.

"I'm sorry too honey." Jessica said.

"I thought since Grace is in bed and we have some alone time, that we could, you know? Evan asked.

"I'd like that." Jessica said.

"I would too." Evan said as he picked her up bridal style and carried her to their bed where they took off each other's clothes and Evan kissed her neck and admired how gorgeous she was.

"I need you so bad!" Jessica moaned into his ear.

"I need you too." Evan said as Jessica straddled him and he rubbed her folds to make sure he didn't hurt her.

...

Jessica laid in Evan's arms as she was still on an euphoria of pleasure as Evan looked down to see her staring at him.

"You know I was thinking about something after you left?" Evan gave a questioning look.

"Yeah?" Jessica asked.

"How would you like to smoke?" Evan asked her.

"You have a joint?" Jessica asked as she laughed.

"Yeah, Holland told me Sarah gave it to her to give to us." Evan asked as he got out it of the drawer of his nightstand.

"Well then, let's smoke it." Jessica said.

Evan lit it as he took a hit off it as he handed it to Jessica as she took a hit off it.

"Wow! You can tell I haven't smoked in a long time." Jessica said, coughing.

"Well, after we found out we were pregnant with Grace. I didn't want to anymore." Evan said.

"Yeah, I still can't believe she's ours." Jessica said.

"I know, but you we're so happy and beautiful when you were pregnant." Evan said.

"I was shocked when we took the pregnancy test and it was positive. After a couple of years of trying, it was too good to be true." Jessica said.

"And when you went into labor, that was the scariest thing I've ever been through." Evan said.

"I was so scared too but it so worth it in the end." Jessica said.

"Yes it was." Evan said as he kissed her.

"I love you Evan." Jessica said.

"I love you too Jessica." Evan said as he kissed her again and they drifted off to sleep.
