Not every question has an answer. Many try to solve such questions, but none can ever be sure. Who can say exactly where the human race came from? Or more importantly, where did the Zemrlt come from? They seem human, but are not. Some say they were cursed. Others say they are physical ghost. But the most popular belief is that they are some kind of descendants of the long extinct withers. Whatever that are, it has been a constant struggle for them to live alongside their human cousins.
It seemed that only the moon was watching when it happened. The war was finally coming to an end, but citizens from both sides believed what happened was wrong. A Zemrlt and a human can't be together. Especially when they each will rule one of the two kingdoms who have been at war for three generations. But this, the Prince and Princess ignored. The heart will choose what it wants.
And this is how Are story begins. Chased away from her home, a women runs through streets that she had know all her life. But this time, there were no happy smiles to greet her. A group of men were chasing her. Those who opposed a truce in the war. And who would kill her son that she was carrying. Any other child would of cried, but her little son stayed quiet.
She knew that she couldn't run much longer. And her only wish was for her son to live. A child that could save hundreds of lives. She rounded a corner on a street she used to pass every day, and banged on the door before running back the way she had come. Her pursuers saw her then, and gave chase with renewed vigor. But none even thought to look where she just come from.
It was another few minutes until the baby boy started crying. It was in his nature to cry once a family member died, as was his physical features that were unlike any other. The crying roused the occupants of the building, and a man dressed in a rob opened the door. It was not uncommon for babies to be left at the church, they were just later sent to an orphanage. But when the man beheld the small baby, he saw it as hideous. It must be cursed. It must be being punished for some crime it's family did. It's a monster.
Although it would of been easiest to kill the child, the man didn't. He would be looked down upon if any where to find out. Keeping this child here seemed like the only way to avoid trouble. So, he kept him. To raise him honest and kind. And this turned out to be true.
(A/N I promise that I'm not trying to slam a bible into your face, it just adds to the story. I don't care what religion you are, or if you even have one)
