After Romeo claimed me yesterday he's been around me frequently. But I honestly don't mind it.

Maya and Maxine

Maxine has been telling me that he's no good for me because of the way he looks.

Not race or physical attributes or anything, I mean he looks like the "bad boy", but Maya on the other hand...

She wants me to marry him

I'm not thinking of marriage at all right now, and honestly the only things I am focused on right now, are making a name for myself, and being able to keep my name clear.

Not a guy nor a girl will take those goals away from me.

Currently I'm at school, and it's a B day. My B days are boring, so of course, at the moment, I have nothing to do.

And honestly ya bitch is bored as fuck

But after this period I get to eat lunch, so thank God for that.

Ring!

The ring of the bell interrupted my thoughts and made me come back to reality.

I gathered my things and walked out the door to the lunch room. I was walking until I felt hands circle around my waist.

I looked back with a smile already knowing who it was.

"Hey baby girl." Romeo said in a deep voice tightening his hold on me

"Hey baby boy." I replied blushing

Everytime he calls me baby girl it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and his voice makes my legs feel like jelly.

That's the heat between your legs.

Shut up!

I began to think that whenever Romeo finds out about me talking to myself he'd think I'm crazy, but I reminded myself...

I'm already crazy

I chuckled at my own joke and decided that it was enough of me being weird, so I started to cool down and remember what kind of situation I was in at the moment.

I snuggled my head back into Romeo's warmth and started to think of how we'd be 10 years from now. Hopefully we'll still be together because he really makes me happy.

Happier than I've been in a long time

"Where ya going?" He asked me in a deep tone

"Lunch, what about you?" I replied and asked

"Same, let's go together." He replied and took my hand taking me to the cafeteria

After walking down to the cafeteria and getting looks from all of the jealous girls we finally made it to the cafeteria.

"Kaylee!" Someone screamed

I turned back to see my best friend out of breath and a red face.

"Where the hell have you been? I've been looking for your vanilla ass all over this damn school. You know good and damn well we always walk to lunch together." She furiously yelled

At the end of her rant she looked beside me and her frown went to a growl instantly.

"Oh ok so lemme get this clear; You dissed me for Mr. Perfect I see. Well I hope you both have a wonderful lunch, Kay I'll see you later." She responded

She turned around to walk off, but I gripped her arm and turned her back around.

"Maya. I would never leave you purposefully, but you have to realize that I see you in my classes and at home. I only see Romeo at school. I know that you're hurt that I left you but I want to spend time with him, and I think you should be happy for me that I found him." I said in a whisper but I knew she could hear the sincerity in my voice

"Kaylee, of course I'm proud of you. I'm not jealous or mad, just please tell me before you go with him, so I won't have to look over this damn school for you. You know I hate walking." She ended with a chuckle

I chuckled with her knowing she was right.

One thing we both have in common is our hate for physical activity.

Especially walking

We hugged each other, and she walked off probably going to find someone she can eat lunch with, or maybe going to the library while I turned back to a confused looking Romeo.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked curiously

"What, no no no. It's just that I didn't tell her I was going to go to lunch with you and she hates walking. You did nothing wrong baby boy." I reassured him

"Oh ok, I was nervous because my cousin said to never cause drama between best friends." He replied

"Yeah well they're definitely right about that." I answered with a chuckle

We both took a moment to settle down our laughter and went into the lunch line and got our food.

I got a cheeseburger and fries, with a pineapple cup and a strawberry lemonade smoothie while Romeo got a chicken burrito with a bag of Doritos, and a cup of strawberries and a chocolate milkshake.

We got our food and settled down in the middle of the food court and dug in. It was nice to finally eat something. I didn't eat anything this morning because I woke up late.

Midway through my burger I saw a girl begin to walk towards us from the far left of the food court.

Just as she came about 4 feet in front of us I realized her...

"Amelia?"
