"Ok so, Demon usually gets here at about 1 o'clock. He meets up with people who hasn't gave his money before meeting here making this place open until then. Only problem; guards."

Currently Kaylee, Romeo, Richy, and I were still at the abandoned warehouse developing a plan to take out Demon.

"Well is there anyway around 'em?" Kaylee asked innocently

Honestly, I feel bad.

This girl looks as if she hasn't done anything to hurt anyone.

Hell, she probably hasn't even killed a bug and she's on this team to kill a mastermind.

I wiped the stress from my face reminding myself this wasn't the time to make judgements.

Knowing Romeo, he'd have her in the house while we go on this mission.

"Yeah, there are ways, we could go through the rooftop door. It's the easiest entrance, and we shouldn't be heard. We can all go through there at a time so no one gets left behind."

Kaylee smiled at the idea obviously agreeing with it, but when she was about to comment, Romeo covered her mouth and placed a protective arm around her waist making her turn the color of her hair.

I saw him whisper something in her ear, and her knees buckled.

I quickly averted my eyes to anything that could save me and to my surprise Richy walked up beside me.

"Hey." He began

I chuckled since we've been basically here with each other for about 3 hours, and he now wants to say hi.

"Hi." I replied placing a strand of hair behind my ear

"What's your opinion?" He asked taking my hand in his

"What do you mean?" I replied raising a brow looking at him confusingly

"All of this, what's your opinion? Trying to kill Demon is going to be a very difficult task." He said grasping my hands firmly

"I know, which is why we're developing a plan. I mean c'mon. Demon has had us in that facility for over a year now, we know everything from the inside out. We've got this." I replied rubbing my hands over his lovingly

I saw his eyes open and close as we stayed in this position for a while.

"Seems like y'all really figuring out a plan over there." I heard someone say

Richy and I turned to look and saw Romeo and Kaylee looking at us with a smirk on their faces.

I blushed heavily noticing they saw us and Richy pushed me into his chest wrapping his arms around me.

My new home

"I don't know what you're talking about. Y'all were the one who started getting touchy touchy feely feely." He replied after clearing his throat

I chuckled and looked to my left trying to see their facial expressions, because I already knew Kaylee was blushing.

Romeo chuckled and nodded knowing Richy was right but didn't comment on it.

"Alright, we were both getting touchy feely on our girls. But it's time we get back to work." Romeo said scratching the back of his neck

I felt heat run up to my face quickly as I heard Romeo claim I was Richy's girl.

I honestly would love to be, but so much shit is happening and I just don't know if I'm going to be able to handle a relationship.

Until Demon is gone, I don't think I'm going to be able to handle anything.

"Oh... we – we aren't in a relationship..." Richy stuttered shuffling his feet

They looked at us crazy as if we just grown a second head but didn't say anything about it and walked back over to the plan lay out we had on the chair in the middle of the floor.

I shook my head from the thought of Richy and I being together.

"So like you were saying, the rooftop door will be unguarded. Richy and I will go through there and y'all will stay in the van. Case closed." Romeo said looking at us sternly

I shook my head immediately disagreeing with his plan.

"No, Amelia and I need to be there too Romeo." I replied quickly

Everyone's attention turned towards me as they looked at me with raised brows.

"Why?" Romeo asked looking directly at me

I could feel his anger radiating off of him, but I'm not backing down.

His father hasn't just hurt him, he's hurt me too. The thought alone of making a child sell drugs makes me mad, but almost trying to kill him because he didn't want to makes me want to rip his fucking head off.

Why would anyone even bother messing with Romeo?

His aura surely isn't friendly, but when you meet him, he's a pretty nice guy.

A guy who I've learned to love

"Because Romeo, he isn't the only one who brought you sleepless nights. Seeing you awake in the middle of the night staring at the ceiling with your muscles tensed wasn't easy. Seeing you punch walls and doors from frustration got the best of you wasn't easy. You're not in this fight alone. Plus if I want to be active on this team, then you should let me at least do something." I replied crossing my arms

He looked at me with stress written on his face, but after a few seconds his face dropped and he sighed.

"Kaylee, I know that you've been restless too, but I'm only trying to protect you-"

"You must not have heard what I said before. I don't need protecting. All my life that's all I've gotten, but it's time to step out of my comfort zone, and do something that'll get my hands dirty." I retaliated cutting him off

His eyes widened at my claim but smirked knowing that once my mind was made up, there was no changing it.

This is something that I have to do to make a name for myself.

I'm finally going to do the one thing I've always wanted to do.

I looked at my baby girl with admiration in my eyes seeing that she was ready to do this.

She wanted to help me kill my father.

She won't even kill a spider because she says they're too hairy and scary, but here she is trying to kill someone who brought me amongst others, so much pain.

Maybe this was right my mother was trying to tell me.

Find the one who'd do anything for you

Kaylee has been there for me through our bad and good times, and has never left no matter how many times I pissed her off.

She's been there when I was weak and frustrated to the point I wanted to cry.

Every kiss and hug we've shared wasn't because of lust or pretend.

They were real, and I know she feels the same way about me.

Kaylee is my gorgeous, adventurous, spontaneous, and weird baby girl, and I believe – no I know that she always will be.
