I felt empty and alone because depression welcomed me with open arms. I haven't felt this way since my aunt died, and I don't think I'll survive if I fully go back to the girl I was years ago.

But the thing is...

I blocked him the day of the incident, because the girls said we needed space to clear our minds.

But I dont want to "clear my mind" anymore. I want my Romeo, I need my Romeo.

No where is safe anymore.

My father is a slick one I can tell you that, but ever since that day Kaylee and I – split – I've been making it my mission to put an end to his games.

I've been working day and night to find him, and so far I've found no leads.

I called the guys and told them what was going on. They been down with me since we were kids, so I knew they would agree to do this with me, and like I knew, they did.

Kyle is like a brother to me, and so is Jeremy. We been bros since we were in kindergarten and the other three came into our circle in our junior high years.

Now my 5 top amigos are Jeremy, Kyle, Tony, Leo, and Ethan.

Ethan is the youngest out of all of us, and he's a die hard survivor. He's been through the most out of all of us, so he's the second in command if I'm not there.

Crazy right?

He's my second in command because Jeremy and Kyle have girlfriends and they're very important to them, so we all agreed that they'd have to be lookout on any mission that could get them killed while Leo, Ethan, and I would go inside and infiltrate.

Right now we're at Kyle's house, because his parents aren't home. They're in New Orleans working on a murder investigation.

"So, what's this about?" Jeremy asked

"Ronny." They all gasped at the name

They knew who my father was and they knew about my hatred for him.

I can't stand him, and he can't stand me, but one thing I know is that he isn't the kind to back down without a fight.

"What about him?" Tony asked with a raised brow

"He's trying to fuck up my life. Once again." I replied with a snarl

"What's new?" Jeremy asked

If he wasn't like a brother to me I would've beat his ass a long time ago for the shit he says.

"Shut the fuck up J." Ethan replied smacking him upside the head

"Ow! I'm just saying, we know that already." He said rubbing the back of his head

"I still don't know why I have your ignorant ass around." I said shaking my head

"Awwn, I love you too Romeo." He said smiling

I looked at him with coldness and venom in my eyes.

"Say that shit again and you'll have a bullet between your eyes." I said as I padded my pocket

His eyes widened as he gulped as I smirked.

The other boys snickered as he stayed quiet.

"Good now let's get back on track. My father has been a problem like we all know, but he tried to kill me a couple days ago with some of his goons." I said getting them to focus on the subject at hand

"How?" Leo asked

"I was pulling out of my driveway and they hit me from the side, they were most likely going about 80. It was as if they were trying to commit more than a homicide if you ask me though." I replied my mind immediately having flashbacks

"Is that why you look so busted?" Ethan asked

"Basically." I responded

"How did you get bandaged though? You don't own a first aid kit, and knowing you you would've called this meeting with all those scratches and gashes uncovered." Tony asked

I smiled softly remembering my baby girl bandaging my wounds.

"Kaylee stitched me up shortly after. Her best friend's mother is a doctor, so she was forced to go into medical school."

The boys looked at me raising their eyebrows and I shook my head softly.

"How are y'all by the way?" Leo asked

I sighed heavily remembering our place at the moment.

"She hates me right now, but I'm trying to get my father off these streets before I make it up to her." I said looking at them sternly

"Well you better make a choice between the two." Jeremy said looking at my phone

"Why you say that?" I asked confused

"Because she's calling." He said and when I checked my phone it was a picture of her flashing on my phone

I told them to hush and picked up the phone to answer.

"Yes?" I asked in a shaky tone

"Romeo?" She asked with the same tone

"I'm here, what's wrong baby girl?" I asked

No matter what, she will always be my baby girl. Even if she gets with another guy – which she won't – she will never stop being my baby girl.

"Can we talk?" She asked softly into the phone

I could tell she been crying, and I hate that I'm the reason why.

"Of course baby girl, where are you?" I asked grabbing my car keys

"Home." She replied

"I'll be there in 15." I said getting up to grab my coat

She ended the call and I looked up to see all the guys looking at me with smug looks on their faces.

"What?" I asked curiously

"No offense, but that girl is going to get you killed." Jeremy said looking at me

I scoffed

"No she isn't. I won't let it happen." I said my anger beginning to boil

"Yes she is. You're cancelling a meeting you called for to meet your "baby girl". I'm happy that you got someone, but watch your back. Ronny might use her against you." He said and the other guys began to nod their heads in agreement

Maybe their right

I shook the thought away and gave one final comment before I walked out the door.

"Anyone who tries to go against me is stupid, and they're not trying to prove their worth to my father. They're signing a death wish, and trying to attempt suicide."

I walked to my car and pressed the accelerator going down the street to Kaylee's house.

"I'm coming baby girl."
