Part 3- The Day After
Hyungwon woke up the next morning, completely emerged into his blanket. He felt no desire to get up, despite it being Friday. Still, he eventually groggily rolled over and saw it was nearly seven a.m.
"Shit!" He suddenly threw his blankets away. I forgot to set the alarm! He tried to quickly get out of bed, but ended up falling onto the floor with a loud bang, his legs feeling a little shaky. "Damn Wonho..." he muttered to himself.
"Hyungwon!" He heard his brother call from downstairs. "Are you okay, what's going on up there?"
"I'm fine!" he responded desperately. Oh god he can never ever find out about last night. Honestly what the hell was I thinking letting Wonho of all people seduce me like that? He quickly shook his head. "I don't have time for that right now." He got up and went into his bathroom to shower.
-&-
After he'd showered he stepped back into his room, holding a towel around his waist, and brushing his teeth at the same time. He went to look at himself in the full body mirror and nearly choked on his toothpaste. I'm covered in freaking hickeys!! He quickly ran to the bathroom to rinse his mouth out and then took a closer look. Sure enough there were prominent pink bruises along his neck and chest. "It was our first time, the fuck he bite me so much for?" He scoffed a little. He then quickly threw on some pants and a baggy turtleneck to cover it up.
He checked the clock again and realized he was already out of time. Normally he'd never leave the house before properly doing his hair and skin care routine, but right now he didn't have a choice. He grabbed his stuff threw it in his bag and went to leave out the door.
He jumped a little when he saw Chiwon right outside his bedroom about to knock. "Christ... you scared the hell out of me."
Chiwon chuckled seeming amused, but also slightly confused. "A little jumpy this morning?"
"Um... not really," He trailed off, hoping his brother didn't suspect something.
"The bus just drove by," Chiwon stated with a disappointed look, but he couldn't hide a hint of a smile poking through.
"What?? Ugh no... not again," Hyungwon whined his shoulders deflating.
"Lucky for you I don't have work till a little later so I can drive you." The older sibling offered.
"Yes! Thank god." Hyungwon started to step around him to head downstairs before stopping in his tracks at the top of the steps. He suddenly felt a strange anxious feeling form in the pit of his stomach. "Wonho isn't here right?"
"No," Chiwon responded looking at him somewhat strangely. "Why?"
"Oh it's nothing," the younger responded quickly making his way down the stairs. He shook his head as he slipped his shoes on by the front door. The hell Hyungwon? Just act natural. "Hurry Chiwon or I'll be late!"
"Alright alright." His brother stated making his way down the stairs. "It's not like you to be in such a rush, it's strange." He casually put his shoes on. "Whatever I guess, let's go." He brushed past him and stepped outside.
Hyungwon sighed in relief before following him, locking the door behind him.
-&-
Hyungwon waved goodbye to his brother after he dropped him off in front of the school. He turned around to face the building, but his feet wouldn't move towards it. He jumped a little as a group of girls behind him giggled suddenly. They walk past him, without giving him a second glance.
"Oh my go no way!" One of them shouted.
He sighed to calm himself. I guess I am jumpy... what am I so nervous for anyway? He shook his head and began going into the building. Once he walked through the front doors he was hit with a gust of warm air and the loud sound of students chattering through the hall. He felt himself shrink slightly, the anxious feeling once again filling the pit of his stomach. What the Hell? He looked around feeling like everyone was staring at him; which a large amount of people were, but that was normal for him. Besides, him standing in the middle of the hall gawking at everyone probably didn't help. He started to move his feet despite them feeling glued to the floor. The noise seemed to keep growing louder around him and every laugh pierced through his ears. He felt like everyone was talking about him. His chest suddenly felt tight and he was finding it hard to breathe. He didn't even hear Kihyun call him from down the hall and instead ducked into the closest bathroom, thanking god it was empty. He dropped his bag to the floor and moved over to the sink, rolling up his sleeves, turning on the faucet, and splashing cool water on his face. He wasn't as hot now, but was still working on regulating his breathing.
"Hyungwon..?" a voice stated quietly as the boy looked up to see Kihyun staring at him with concern. He stepped into the bathroom slowly. "Is everything okay?"
"Um... yeah I guess..." he replied.
"Are you sure?" he asked coming a little closer, but keeping his voice low and calm. "You're as white as a sheet, not to mention panting like crazy."
"I just..." Hyungwon swallowed a lump in his throat catching his breath a bit. "Am feeling a bit anxious I suppose."
Kihyun seemed surprised by the response. "How come? You've never been one to get anxiety from coming to school."
"I know..." he stated seeming surprised himself. "I mean I'm not sure why exactly, I just feel like everyone is talking about me," he admitted.
"Not more than the usual people gushing over your good looks." He smiled a little hoping it would lighten the mood. "Why would you think that?" He then asked still seeming concerned.
"I don't know, to be honest it's not the only thing I'm worried about. Wonho's here and I-" he cut himself off, fearing he'd say more. "I mean... um..."
"Hyungwon your acting weird. You've never been afraid of Wonho before, why now? It's scaring me..." Kihyun paused choosing his words carefully. "Did he do something to you?"
"What? No, no he didn't... do anything to me... and I'm not scared of him particularly, I just..." he sighed in exasperation. "Look Kihyun can you keep a secret? And I mean you can't tell anyone."
"Of course." His friend stated sincerely.
"Okay um..." Hyungwon quickly walked around him, checked outside the entrance making sure no one was coming. "Alright..." when no one was there he returned to his friend, leaning against the wall with a sigh. "So Wonho came to my house last night to see my brother, but Chiwon was still working, so I told him and he decided to stay and wait anyways..."
"Okay." Kihyun stated the story seeming normal so far.
"Well it was getting later and my brother still wasn't back." Hyungwon continued nervously. "Wonho came into my room, and I told him he should just leave, but he told me he wanted to stay. I didn't know why, but I wasn't really going to question it, so I just tried to ignore him. Then he started talking about my brother wanting us to get along and being honest with me or something, and well... one thing led to another, and we may have ended up sleeping together..."
"What?!" Kihyun asked in pure shock. "Sleeping together?? You and Wonho? As in..."
"Yes." Hyungwon stated quickly not wanting his friend to say it out loud. "As in...that way."
"With Wonho?" He asked still not seeming to believe it.
"Yes with Wonho." Hyungwon emphasized seeming only slightly annoyed.
"How the hell did what you just explained even lead to that?" Kihyun questioned seeming slightly appalled.
"I don't really know exactly... but it did, and now..." he trailed off feeling slight panic spark in him again. "I don't know if I can even handle facing him, or like what if he tells people? What if everyone starts talking about it? I just... I-"
"Woah woah Hyungwon calm down. I know you two don't get along, but I seriously doubt he's going to tell people." His friend assured him before seeming to get nervous. "I mean... unless you think he just slept with you so he'd have something to use against you?"
"No. He may be a bit of a jerk, but I don't think he'd be the type of person to do something like that." Hyungwon shook his head.
"Then you don't have anything to worry about." Kihyun smiled at him.
"I know, but I still feel a little freaked out by it." He admitted.
Kihyun walked over to him placing a hand in his shoulder. "It was your first time, it's a scary thing, but as long as you were both fine with it, there's nothing to feel ashamed about."
Hyungwon nodded his head in understanding, actually feeling better with his friend's reassurance. "Thanks..." He smiled. "Actually talking about it helped, and um... thanks, for not judging me I mean."
His friend smiled happily at him. "No problem."
"Hyungwon." A voice stated causing both males to look over. Wonho walked in. "Can I talk to you?"
Hyungwon shuffled somewhat nervously, not able to look him in the eye. "Sure..." he looked at Kihyun before nodding at him to assure it was okay.
"I'll be at our lockers with Jooheon." He told him before he left the two alone.
Wonho watched him leave before walking over to the younger male. "Are you okay?"
Hyungwon nodded in response. He still couldn't bring himself to look at him, let alone say much of anything.
"Are you sure? Because if I forced you to do anything you weren't comfortable with I'm so so sorry-"
"No." Hyungwon quickly interrupted him, before looking away again. "I mean... you didn't force me to do anything... I told you yes."
"Still..." Wonho seemed to feel guilty.
"Wonho. It's fine." Hyungwon assured him meeting his eyes finally.
"So... you don't regret it right?" Then older male asked.
"No...I don't regret it." He answered. "I wouldn't have done it if I knew I would regret it."
Wonho smiled at his answer, nodding his head like he finally accepted his answer. He then chuckled a little reaching toward him, and gently pulling the collar of his turtleneck down, admiring his work. "Nice accessories." He referred to the hickeys.
Hyungwon clicked his tongue. Of course he's gonna go back to being an arrogant little shit two seconds after... "It's not funny." He pushed his hand away fixing his sweater. "What if someone saw, what if Chiwon is suspicious? Honestly, what were you thinking?"
Wonho couldn't help but laugh again at his scolding. "Sorry, guess I got carried away."
The bell rang interrupting their conversation.
"Um... I should go to class." Wonho suddenly stepped away from him nervously. "See you."
"See you." He mirrored back watching him leave. He then sighed one last time. This is gonna be awkward...
-&-
"There you are!" Jooheon shouted as he stood with Kihyun by their lockers. He began hoping up and down. "C'mon c'mon c'mon we're gonna be late."
"Calm down, we're fine." Hyungwon smiled at his childishness.
"Is everything okay." Kihyun asked.
"Everything's fine." He assured him. He got his books before securely closing his locker, feeling determined to not let any events of the past couple days get to him. "Let's get to class."
Hey guys, I hope you liked the new part. I'm really sorry for taking so long to update, but I've been really busy with school and everything else. I hope you don't mind. Also sorry not much happened in this chapter, but I felt it important to show the effects of what happened instead of just going headfirst into the rest of the plot. Tell me how you liked it, vote and comment, bye!
