14 and a half years have passed since the day I was rescued by the Rebellion. Cassian has been promoted to Captain and I have been promoted to Sergeant.  The Rebellion has gotten wind that the Empire is planning to make a super weapon. We needed to get somebody out of the labor camps on Wobani so they sent me in to go undercover so they would have somebody on the inside when they came to get her out. I have been here for six months and haven't seen the woman that we are looking for. 

I wake up and get ready for the day of work ahead of me. When i get loaded into one of the trucks that take us out to where we work I notice a dark brown haired woman sitting across from me. When we get going out of the camp area we eventually get stopped by an explosion and the guards are confused. Then the door blows open and multiple people come rushing in. They ask for Liana Halik. The woman across me nods and they undo her cuffs.

 "Hey Melshi what about me?" I ask and he comes and undos my cuffs after the woman tries to get out. Cassian's droid who for some reason was with Melshi and his crew to get us out stops Liana Halik and throws her on the ground. We head back to the ship with the woman in cuffs. Soon the ship is up in the air heading back to Yavin and the Rebel base. 

"How are you doing Isabella?"

"I'm good. Tired and sore from working all the time for the six months you left me there. I hated that".

"I know you did but it was important for us to have somebody on the inside when we came to get Liana here out".

"I understand but I wish it wasn't me. I have spent way to much time already in Imperial prison".

"That was part of the reason they sent you. You have spent time in prison so you know how to behave and some of the other important things you need".

"Yeah. How's Captain Andor?"

"Oh your boyfriend...He should be there waiting for us when we land. He's been worried about you since you left".

"I can't wait to see him. It's been a long six months since I have seen any of you". 

After a few hours of traveling we reach the base on Yavin 4. The ship lands and the first people off are one of the crew and Liana Halik who she gets handed over to a guard and escorted to the war room. I slowly walk out of the ship and look for Cassian wanting to see him. I don't see him at this time and start to walk towards the war room when I'm all of a sudden jumped from behind by somebody. I turn around and smile when I see who it is. "Hey Cassian". 

"Hey Isabella. Long time no see".

"I agree. It's been a long 6 months without you around". 

"I know how that is. I've missed you the entire time. You seem to be well even though you just spent all the time in a labor camp".

"I am very well. I was well behaved when I was in that camp. I didn't give them any reason to punish me for something".

"That's good that you did that. I don't think I could take it if I saw that you came home injured".

"I'm the same way with you". We hug and kiss. We realize we have to get to the war room soon unless we want to get in trouble with our leaders. We head to the war room and get there before they start interrogating Liana. 

General Draven says, "You're currently calling yourself Liana Halik. Is that correct?" She doesn't say anything for reply. "Possession of unsanctioned weapons, forgery of Imperial documents, aggravated, escape from custody, resisting arrest. Imagine if the imperials found out who you really are Jyn Erso. That is your given name is it not? Daughter of Galen Erso. A known imperial collaborator in weapons development".

"What is this?" She asks as she looks around the room.

Mon Mothma walks up to the table and speaks, "A chance for you to make a fresh start". 

Cassian walks from where he was next to me to near where she is siting. "We think you might be able to help us".

Mothma says, "This is Captain Cassian Andor, Rebel intelligence". Then she motions for me to come up. "And this is Sergeant Isabella Brees".

I stand near Cassian and he says, "When was the last time you where in contact with your father?" 

She replies with "15 years ago".

Having been quickly briefed by Cassian on the way to the war room I say "Any idea where he has been all this time?" 

"I like to think he's dead, makes it easier".

Cassian asks, "Easier than what? That he's being a tool of the imperial war machine?"

"I've never had the luxury of political opinions".

I ask, "When was your last contact with Saw Gerrera?"

"It's been a long time".

Cassian asks, "He'd remember you though won't he? He might agree to meet you, if you came as a friend".

General Draven intervenes, "We're up against the clock here girl. So if there's nothing to talk about we will just put you back where we found you".

"I was a child, Saw Gerrera saved my life, but I've no idea where he is. I haven't seen him in years".

Cassian says "We know how to find him, but that's not our problem. What we need is someone who can get us through the door with out getting killed".

"You are all rebels aren't you?"

Mothma replies to that, "Yes but, Saw Gerrera is an extremist. He's been fighting on his own ever since he broke with the Rebellion. His militancy has cause the Alliance great many problems. We have no choice now than to try to mend that broken trust".

"What does this have to do with my father?"

I reply with "There's an imperial defector in Jedah. A pilot. He's claiming the Emperor is creating a weapon with the power to destroy entire planets. The pilot says he was sent by your father". 

Mothma continues, "We need to stop this weapon before it's finished".

Draven speaks up, "Captain Andor, and Sergeant Brees's mission is to authenticate the pilot's story and then if possible get your father". 

Mothma adds more, "It appears he is critical to the development of this super weapon. Given the gravity of this situation and your history with Saw. We're hoping that he will help us locate your father and return him to the Senate for testimony". 

"And if I do it?"

Mothma replies with, "We'll make sure you go free". 

They send her off with a location of a room for the night. It's late and they don't want us taking off at this time so we will get to spend the night here before we start the mission tomorrow. I get ready to leave. "Isabella please stay".

I stop moving and walk over to the table. Draven starts to talk. "From what i heard you did an excellent job under cover in the prison. Good job on that. We are thinking about giving you a promotion for all your hard work lately. The idea has been spearheaded because of your most recent mission".

"Thank you Sir".

"With the council's permission I'm going to promote you to Captain". Mothma gives her okay since all they actually needed was one. "Welcome Captain Brees. Your going to do very well".

They send me off with Cassian. We head to our room and go to sleep for the night after settling down and for me showering.
