Chapter~1
Two weeks had passed and the demigods had found a base camp. The four of them lived in a two bedroom apartment that was pretty spacious. The boys shared a room like you would a dorm. One bed each side of the room, their desks and wardrobes. It was similar with the girls room except they had a bunk bed.
Thalia was normally out with the hunters leaving the rest of them to work jobs. Income was needed to pay rent. Percy became a bus boy in a kitchen, Reyna became a waitress, and Nico worked the cashier at a supermarket. This helped them quickly learn the Japanese language. While their speech wasn't anything near perfect they could convey what they meant pretty easily.
Percy still hadn't quite recovered from the betrayal. His eyes would often glaze over and every so often he would cry in his sleep. He really tried to put on a good face, but each one of them could feel the overwhelming sadness flowing off of him. They did their best to comfort him, cuddling him, singing to him. Eventually his mental state improved allowing him to go find a job.
It was actually after work one day when Percy was walking back to the apartment something strange occurred. An aura. A powerful one close by. He was very confused there weren't supposed to be any gods or powerful monsters living in Japan. Before he could stop himself the curiosity got the better of him. Percy sprinted toward the power source sticking his hand in his jean pocket, ready to strike at a moments notice.
He ran until he reached a mountain. Looking back he sighed. He had gotten this far, what was a hike up a mountain gonna do to him. As he climbed the intensity of the aura grew. Making it over the top ridge and looking down, Percy saw a building. Looking back again, he figured he had made it this far might as well continue. It wasn't long before the building came into view.
Voices traveled from the classroom, lots of them. Hoping no one would see him he snuck around the side of the building. He check around each corner and tried glance into the windows. He only caught a glimpse but that was enough. A yellow human sized octopus was by a blackboard with a classroom full of kids a bit younger than him. Checking around the opposite corner, Percy stepped on a twig (cause why not). He cursed to himself silently.
Before he could make a run for it, a force of wind knocking him off his feet.
"And who might you be?" A voice questioned.
