They both lay down on bed either side with Reyansh and Aadhira in middle. Both of them time to time glancing looking at twins who snugging to each other while sleeping.

Both of them had tears gleaming in their eyes seeing how a year passed with them. It wasn't even few days ago where they recalled being in hospital and holding both of them in their arms for the first time.

A tear drops down Avni's eyes and falls on Neil's hand as he busy caressing Reyansh and Aadhira head so gently. He looks up holding onto his own tears and found his wife ready to burst into tears.

He leans forward and cupping her face wipes the tears off and softly calls her name out. Holding her tears back she looks at him. He sighs and getting down from his side he walks to her side and laid down embracing her in his arms.

He rested his chin on her shoulder as she turns around hugging him so tightly and sobs loudly. His hand went into her hairs and starts caressing softly.

He drops numerous kisses on her head and starts softly whispering sweets words to her. He embraced her close to his chest, he could hear her sobs getting slower.

He pulls her away from his chest and looks at her wiping the tears off.  He pecks her forehead and cupping her face brushed his thumbs against her cheeks.

Neil : Jaan, I understand what you feeling right now. Even I can relate myself to you love. It feels like just yesterday we were in hospital and crying in a joy welcoming our babies but within just few days they will be turning a year old. My heart is aching baby. We have to strong for our babies Jaan. We can't fall weak Jaan. If we become weak then how will handle our babies.

Her eyes gazed up with tears and taking his words she tries to understand. Her heart was hurting to see how quick their children are growing fast. She never wants her children to grown.

She glanced at Reyansh and Aadhira who were fasten sleep snuggling to each other. Her heart overwhelms seeing how cut and adorable they are looking right now.

Turning back to Neil she leans to his chest hugging him back. He chuckles and caressing his her head he kissed her forehead and mummers something under her breath.

The clock ticks on 12am. Neil softly calls her name out and looking at the twins looks back down at his wife who broke the hug turning around staring the twins. Neil back hugs Avni and watched the twins who stirs in sleep.

They both took good times staring at them before leaning forward and kissing their cheeks and wishing them happy birthday.

Neil pecking his wife head gets down bed and walks to his side and lying down on his side looks at his little princess whose lips curves into a smile in sleep.

He chuckles and leaning forward kissed her both cheeks making her stirs in sleep.

Neil: happy birthday to my little princess. My pervious love. Happy birthday, papa loves you so much.

Neil then looks at Reyansh who snuggles into Avni's chest making him smile. He also kissed his head and wished him happy birthday.

Neil : happy birthday to my little champ. My precious love. Happy birthday, Papa loves you so much.

He then looks at his wife who holding her tears leans forward kissing Aadhira cheek.

Avni : happy birthday to my little baby girl . Mamma loves you so much. Thank you for coming into our lives and blessing us.

She then looks at Reyansh kissing his cheek and wishing him too.

Avni: happy birthday my little baby boy, mamma loves you so much. Thank you for coming into our lives and blessing us.

Neil smiles at her and leaning towards her kissed her forehead and whispering I love to her pulls duvet over them.

Neil : goodnight Jaan. We should catch few hours sleep before they get up and keeps on our toes for whole day.

She chuckles and nodding her head and wishing him goodnight closed her eyes allowing sleep over take her.

Laughters echoes in the room as Neil starts to tickle Aadhira and chuckles seeing her laughing. He stops tickling her and looks towards the washroom door where Reyansh walks while stumbling on his foot naked. His eyes went behind Reyansh and looks at his wife who was drenched and looked annoyed.

He sighs and leaving Aadhira alone rushed holding Reyansh who was about to walk out of the room.

Neil : where are you running to champ? I see you're troubling your mamma. Why are you troubling mamma?

Reyansh giggles jumping on his foot and Neil shook his head and looks at his wife who grabs Aadhira with her to washroom who was struggling in her arm.

He turns back looking at Reyansh and picking him up in his arm walks to bed and dropping him on bed moves to closet shuffling around finding his attire.

He went back to bed and holding Reyansh and starts dressing him while Reyansh wouldn't stop moving around and being naughty. Neil had to hold him firmly while dressing him.

Within few hours since Reyansh and Aadhira woke up had been keeping the couple on toes. They wouldn't stop laughing or do something making them to run behind both of them.

Neil putting a video on his phone gives to Reyansh who took the phone and starts watching the video. Neil sighs and walking to washroom knocks before entering inside.

He gasped seeing the mess and his mouth was widened seeing his daughter not taking a bath but playing with the water. He chuckles and didn't even dared to glance at his wife.

He knew she would burst into angry if he mutters anything. He clears his throat and closing the door behind him he went towards them.

Neil : Jaan, do you want me to give a bath to her while you freshen up.

She looks at him and shakes her head knowing leaving them alone means another disaster. She can't trust this father and daughter.

Avni : no Neil! I'll quickly give her a bath. You should also freshen up. Pooja will be starting soon.

Neil nodded his head and looks at Aadhira who gives a look before playing with the water and laughing.

Neil kissing his wife head and muttering I love you left.

Getting the twins ready after so many hurdles. They come and was welcomed by their family who starts singing happy birthday to the twins.

Reyansh and Aadhira smiles brightly and claps their hands making everyone chuckle.

Bebe : happy birthday to our beloved grandchildren.

Swetha : happy birthday to our wonderful and dearest grandchildren.

Prakash : happy birthday to you. Bless you both.

Neil and Avni smiles and thanking the family moves to temple where the Pooja was taking to place for twins first birthday.

In the evening Neil bending on his knees adjusted Reyansh suite and glanced towards where his wife getting Aadhira ready. He kissed Reyansh head and looked so proud and pleased being father of them.

Neil : you look so handsome at this such young age. Girls will die for you Ansh, my boy.

Neil chuckles and picking him in his arms moves towards his girls who was getting ready while giggling on something. He clears his throat gaining his attention.

His heart stops beating when he looks at his girls looking so beautiful and stunning. He couldn't take his eyes away from them.

Neil : wow. Is this my Ira Princess. You look so beautiful princess. I have to keep boys away from you in future.

Avni chuckles hearing him and fixing Aadhira dress took her in her arms and smiles brightly seeing Reyansh in Neil's arms.

Avni : my bacha looks so handsome like his papa. Mamma is so proud of you.

Neil grins and winks at her making her cheeks heats up.

Neil kissed Aadhira cheek before kissing Avni's head and complimenting her.

Neil : you look stunning Jaan. I can proudly say from where my princess got the beauty from.

Avni : I can saw the same Neil. Look at them, how adorable they are looking? I feel my eyes tearing up.

Neil nodded his head and smiles as he began to walk out of the room followed by Avni.

As they came down they were attacked by youngster who couldn't hold their excitement to hold the twins and wish them.

Nandini : oh my gosh. Look at them. How cute they are looking like a family? They are matching, how beautiful. 

Nandini holding Manik's hand walks to AvNeil and wished Reyansh and Aadhira.

Nandini : happy birthday Reyansh. You look so cute. I feel like eating you up. Look at those cheeks.

Manik chuckles and kissing Aadhira cheek wished her.

Manik : happy birthday little doll. You look gorgeous.

Manik then kissed Reyansh's head wishing him. Cabir, Mukti, Dhruv and Alya took turns hugging and kissing Reyansh and Aadhira while wishing them.

Neela and Ashish come forward and took Reyansh and Aadhira in their arms before wishing them.

Neela : happy birthday cutie pie.

Ashish : happy birthday Reyansh.

Lastly mohit kissed their cheek and wished them. Elders sat down while talking whereas youngsters decided to play with Reyansh and Aadhira.

Cabir puts the music on and made everyone come in middle. Everyone starts dancing including Reyansh and Aadhira who starts copying everyone.

Everyone laughs out seeing their cute dance. They had blast while dancing and laughing.

It was time to cut the cake as the twins were yawning and feeling tired. They got the cake in middle and gathered around. 

Neil holding Aadhira on his hips  glances at his wife who was holding Reyansh up on her hips like him.

Everyone starts to sing happy birthday song while Neil and Avni took the knife and holding twins hands together cuts the cake and chuckles when Aadhira dips a finger taking the cake and licking it.

Reyansh did the same and giggles loudly taking some cake and smearing on Avni's cheek.

They all chuckled and Neil taking a piece fed Reyansh and Aadhira. He then fed his wife and chuckles looking at the twins who got down and were in their own world eating the cake.
