Eight months,

Taking his shoes out and leaving by door he walks inside and found bebe and swetha sitting in living hall engrossed in deep conversation. He clears his throat gaining their attention

Neil : what's the discussion going on about? Mind sharing with me too?

He spoke while sitting down holding his blazer. Swetha looks at him and stands up moving to kitchen to get him some water while Bebe smiles looking at him.

Bebe : we were planning about Avni's baby shower tomorrow. What do you think? Should we have one?

Neil looks at Bebe while thinking something. He also frowns not finding his wife with them. He got worried thinking where she could be when Bebe relived his worry by answering him

Bebe : she's resting in her room. She was with us while ago. She just went to test a while ago before you arrived.

His eyes turns towards his room, he diverts his gaze back at Bebe. Swetha comes with a glass of water and hands it over him while taking sitting down beside Bebe.

Neil took the glass and thanking swetha he starts taking a sip. He placed the glass down on the coffee table and looks at the ladies.

Neil : I don't have any problem what you guys plan. How will you make all the arrangements on short notice?

Swetha : Neil! You don't need to worry about preparation. We were planning since very long time. Neela and the girls will have arrive tomorrow morning to arrange everything. Even boys will be joining them.

Neil nodded his head and talks to them about tomorrow before excusing himself and climbing the stairs.

He pushed the door and enters inside finding her lying on her back and resting cuddling with his pillow.

He smiles and closing the door quietly behind him, he starts walking towards the bed. He keeps his blazer on side and sits down. He holds the duvet and removes it over face.

He got worried seeing stained tears on her face. He strokes her cheeks gently and bending down kissed her cheeks. He then looking at her softly whispers her name out.

Neil : Jaan, wake up. Jaan.

Her eyes flicks opens looking at him before she shifted closer throwing the duvet and hugs him by wrapping her arms around his waist and hid her face into his stomach.

Neil caressed her hair and looks down pecking her head.

Neil : what happened Jaan? You wanna asleep.

Avni : my head hurts Neil do does my back. I can't bear this pain. Please do something.

She cried hugging him tighter. Neil immediately understood why her cheeks were stained earlier. He looks at her and starts rubbing her back gently.

Neil : Jaan.. do you want me to massage your head and your back?

She tilts her head lightly looking at him and cutely nodding her head. He smiles pecking her lips and made her sit properly.

Neil : just give a minute. Let me grab oil.

She nods her head and watched him rushing to other side of bed and taking the pup bottle of the side table and coming back to the bed.

He sits down behind and looks at her before untying her hair. He keeps the rubber band on the side and ruffles her hair before taking oil in his hand and rubbing it over her head.

Neil starts massaging her head so gently while she closed her eyes and leans back on his chest.

Neil : Jaan, did you heard what mom and Bebe were planning?

Avni : yes! What do you think? What did you tell them? I mean I loved the idea. Obviously we won't revealing the gender as we wanted to keep it secret till birth. It would be wonderful to have small celebration welcoming the baby. I have told mom and Bebe to plan. I couldn't disappoint them as they were planning since very long time.

She looks her opens and tilting her head side away she looks at him who smiles hearing her while massaging  her head.

Neil: I honestly don't mind it Jaan. I'm happy our baby will bring so many happiness and joy into our house. I can imagine what will it be like after the baby.

She smiles and placed her hand on stomach. She also took his hand placing it over hers making him smile.

Avni : our baby is blessing Neil! I can't hold our baby.

Neil nodded his head and caressed her stomach that have grown bigger. Neil looks at her once he was done with the head massage.

Neil: Jaan, can you please remove your t-shirt so I can massage your back too?

She nodding head removing the t-shirt and looking at him who took the oil on his hand and ran his hand over her back so smoothly. She moaned as he massaged her back.

His fingers brushed against her stomach too and he chuckles making her smile. Neil made her wear the t-shirt again and taking the oil he went to wash his hands.

He comes out of washroom and moves to his closet to change. He walks back inside the room and looks at his wife who was scrolling down her phone.

Neil : do you have dinner?

She looks at him from her phone and shook her head making him sigh deeply.

Neil : why haven't eaten your dinner Jaan? Come let's go and have something to eat.

Avni: don't scold me. I was waiting for you to come.

His anger melted and holding her hand he took her downstairs. He found swetha sitting in living hall.

Neil: where is dad and Bebe?

Swetha : they went to sleep. Let me serve you both dinner.

Neil : mom! It's okay. We will help ourselves. You should rest too. You will be busy tomorrow and I don't you to be tired tomorrow. Please go and sleep.

Swetha nodding her head and wishing them goodnight walks to her room. Neil looks at his wife and smiles walking towards dining area.

He pulls the chair and making her sit he went to kitchen and got a plate full of food. He pulls his chair and scooting closer towards her chair, he wraps his arm around her shoulder and smiles pecking her forehead.

He starts feeding her and in between he ate too.
After their dinner they went back to their and slept hugging each other.

Next morning his eyes flicks opens hearing bangles sounds. He glanced towards his wife who was getting ready for the baby shower. His smile wider as he stares her so lovingly turning around with his hand resting against his head.

He couldn't take his eyes off his wife. She looks so beautiful and elegant while getting ready. He blinks his eyes staring his own wife.

He climbs down the bed and starts walking towards her. He encircles his arms around her stomach gently. He rested his head on her shoulder.

She flinched and looked through the mirror glancing at him. She smiles ruffling his hair softly.

Avni : Neil! Let me get ready. Mom might need my help.

Neil : no! Please stay like this. I want to hug you Jaan.

Avni : Neil. I would love staying like this but we need to get ready Neil. Please go and take shower.

Neil : no! Let me help you get ready first. I'll shower afterwards.

She couldn't say no to him because he looked so adorable making small pout. She chuckles and nodded her head. He moves away and starts helping her out to get ready.

He took a pinch vermillion and fills her hairline. He cupping her face kissed her forehead.

Neil : gorgeous love. So beautiful. I love you so much Jaan!

Avni : I love you too Neil. You also should get ready.

Neil nodded his head and placing the box behind her turns to leave but stops turning around and looks at her.

Neil : Jaan! Please take my clothes out. Yes I also want to wear traditional matching with you.

She smiles and nodded her head. Neil smiles and went to washroom. As she heard door closing she turns back and fixing her things on the table moves to their closet and looks through his clothes thinking what would be perfect. Her eyes fell on the white suit matching with trousers. She took them out and walks back to bed placing it down neatly.

Neil comes out washroom ruffling his wet hair and wrapped in towel. He smirks looking at his wife who drools over his bare body. He moves closer and clicks his finger front of her face.

She looks away and blushed getting caught by him.he chuckles and starts getting ready while teasing her.

She slapped his chest and shouts at him to get ready. He shook his head moving towards dressing table.

He walks towards her and grabs his phone on the side table looking at her who looked absolutely stunning wearing a green a saree perfectly draped around her body. Her hair ties in a bun with flower behind it.

Neil smiles and interlocking their  hands walks out of the room.

They comes to living room and got confused finding no one present there. He was about to shout their yells when he saw Nandini and Manik coming from the backyard.

They greeted each other and Neil looks at Manik who went behind them and blindfolded their eyes.

Neil : what are you doing?

Avni : Bhai what are you doing? I can't see anything.

Manik smiles and looks at Nandini who returns the smile holding Avni's hand.

Nandini : guys why are you worrying? There is surprise for you both. Now follow us.

They all starts walking towards backyard.

Nandini: we will remove blindfolds from your eyes. Open your eyes slowly.

Neil and Avni nodded their head and opens their eyes slowly as they were told by Nandini. Soon as they opened their eyes they gasped seeing the whole family and friends standing there with backyard decorating with blue and pinks balloons and flowers.

Her eyes brimmed with fresh tears and looks at them in amazed. Her heart flutters seeing all these.

Neil also smiled through his tears looking at the surprise given by his family and friends.

Nandini and Manik hugs them. Neil wipes his wife tears and holding her hand starts walking to their family and friends.

They all hugged each other and smiles each other brightly.

Neil : thank you guys so much for this. It's so beautiful and thoughtful to do. I really appreciate this.

Avni : yes guys! This is so wonderful. Thank you so so much.

Everyone smiles at them and shook their heads.

Manik : come on your both! Don't be too formal. We are a big family. There is no need to thank any of us.

They smiles at Manik and nodded their heads  agreeing to him. The girls side hugs Avni and breaking the hug made her sit on the swing.

The elders starts showering Avni with the gifts while Neil took his phone out capturing every moments.
