the family were halfway thru the move, but there was still a load of boxes at gina's old apartment with things like plates and forks. rosa already had all that stuff so they didn't need gina's too.

iggy was particularly having fun. all of the car rides and guessing where she was going to next seemed to entertain her more than any toy could.

'mommyyy,' iggy ran to her mom, jumping into her arms when she reached her.

rosa and iggy had just gotten back from taking more boxes to rosa's. the couple had taken three days off and figured that if they started on friday night, they'd have friday night, saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday to move everything over.

'hey princess,' gina smiled and picked her daughter up.

'oh, they came for the couch?'

'yeh, they just took it. i don't know how they managed to get it thru the door but they were really good actually.'

the room was effectively empty after the removal men had been, only scattered with a few boxes and some of iggy's toys.

'i guess that means we're gonna be staying at the new place now.'

'it's still your old apartment you know.'

'yeh but it's our new place.'

gina smiled at the fact that rosa always implied it was a new apartment.

'you wanna go stay at our new apartment tonight ig?' gina asked

'YEH!' iggy yelled in gina's face, making rosa laugh

'how many more boxes have we got to take gi?'

'i think there's only 4 more boxes and 2 suitcases. we're picking up iggy's bed and two new closets tomorrow and then both kid's rooms are pretty much set up.'

rosa smiled at the fact that gina had said 'both' kids. rosa never wanted kids but gina linetti's kids seemed to be perfect, gina linetti seemed to be perfect too. she loved gina linetti. they'd only been in the relationship for a little over two months and they were already moving in together, but rosa never doubted gina or ever thought they were going too fast. everything seemed to be perfect right now.

'rosie?' rosa heard the nickname and snapped out of her thoughts.

'mhm, we're picking up ig's bed tomorrow and stuff.'

'you okay?'

rosa walked over to her girlfriend and daughter and smiled, taking the child out of gina's arms and kissing her head.

'i'm great right now.'

'okay, sure...' gina looked at rosa like she was a psycho before smiling at iggy as her head was getting closer and closer to rosa's shoulder as she fell asleep.

iggy was the first one to wake up on monday morning, confused by the familiar surroundings.

she sat on her mom as an attempt to wake her up, a successful attempt too as gina opened her eyes and smiled at the girl.

'new house?'

'no baby girl, we're still at the old apartment. we're gonna go pick up your bed and then go to the new apartment later on.'

'roro!' she slumped down onto her side so her legs were on gina and her head was on rosa.

'let roro sleep for a bit, why don't we go make breakfast in bed for her?'

iggy climbed over gina, onto rosa, and tried to get down off the bed but almost fell. the only reason she didn't was because rosa was already awake and caught iggy as she was about to fall.

'you gotta be careful princess, i don't want you to get hurt,' rosa told the infant as she placed her back onto gina.

'morning gines,' rosa greeted

'morning ro,' gina smiled, rolling over slightly to kiss her

'why don't we all get dressed and go get pancakes for breakfast?' rosa suggested

iggy smiled before trying to get down off the bed again, this time safely because rosa helped her, and proceeded to run around yelling 'PANCAKESSSS'

rosa rolled over and wrapped her arms around gina, 'how you feeling this morning?'

'ye-' a sudden wave of nausea hit the woman and she got up and raced to the bathroom, closing the door behind her

rosa knew there was nothing she could do. the only thing that sometimes helped gina was one of rosa's herbal teas, so she decided she'd make one.

rosa got up and had the tea ready in the kitchen counter when gina came into the room around 10 minutes later.

'made you tea if you want it?'

gina picked up the mug and blew on the contents, 'thanks.'

'you doin okay?'

gina just nodded and sipped her tea. whilst her morning sickness wasn't as bad as it used to be,  and she didn't get it everyday, when she did get nauseous it was so much worse

'the closets were easy to build, why is the bed so damn hard to make!' rosa yelled in frustration

'rosa, you know it doesn't have to be done today. why don't we take a break?' gina asked as she stopped filing clothes into iggy's closet

rosa sat back and put the screwdriver down. 'i just wanna get this all done by time you're like 5 months and then you can kinda... relax?'

'and right now you need to relax,' she got up and then pulled rosa up, 'we're gonna go watch the rest of moana with ig and then we can finish stuff in here okay?'

rosa couldn't help but smile and think about how lucky she was. 'i love you,' rosa told her girlfriend as they walked down the hall to the living room to watch the last 20 minutes of iggy's favourite movie.

iggy curled up in rosa's lap the minute the pair sat down and gina smiled at the sight.
