Natsu huffed and puffed. In and out. He had won. Won his battle against Zeref... well kind of. He did not KILL him but only got him to flee. Natsu struggled to stay balanced and standing as a matter of fact. No one was there to help him, considering he ran off on his own, well with Happy, to beat up Zeref. Happy had been told to go back to the other guild members and help there and so he did as he was told. Natsu was really alone. No Wendy. No Gray. No Erza. No Happy, no Carla. And No Lucy. He wanted to see Lucy the MOST, since he hadn't seen her since he woke up and beat up that assassin dude. (I forgot his name. Sorry.)
"Kusō... I can barely stand. I need to stay awake so I can g-"

"Natsu!"

Natsu froze, upon hearing the voice he had been longing to hear.

"Lu-"

Natsu was halted after turning to see only the blinding light of the sun. His shoulders slouched and his slight smile disappeared. He had only dreamt it. She wasn't there, of course she wasn't, she was in Magnolia, fighting for her friends and her own life. He knew that and yet he still thought she would be there. He had the slightest hope that she would be there, smiling that beautiful smile of hers. Showing her mesmerizing chocolate brown eyes. Her golden blonde locks flowing in the wind.

"Shit..."

He cursed as he started walking back the way he 'flew'. He knew that he was millions and millions of miles away from Magnolia, but he HAD to get back to her. Back to Lucy. Back to his home. He walked and walked. Non stop.

"Hey kid! What the hell are y- WAIT! Natsu?!"

Natsu turned to his right to see-

"Old man!"

Natsu smiled at his old friend, Gildarts Clive. Gildarts was driving a magic mobile and holding a bag over his shoulder while staring at Natsu. His calm face was then replaced by a very concerned one, seeing Natsu's wounds.

"Natsu! Get in, and I don't give a damn about your motion sickness thing! Just g-"

Before Gildarts could finish, Natsu bolted to the magic mobile and climbed in the back seat, causing Gildarts to go wide eyed.

"Hey! What got in-"

"Just DRIVE!"

Natsu yelled, Gildarts nodding and stomping on the gas pedal. The drive was long, quiet and hell on Earth for Natsu, but he had to get back, so he ignored the pain and focused on the only thing that could calm him down. Lucy Heartfilia.

Lucy groaned in pain as she was thrown into a nearby wall by a general of the Alvarez army.

"Come on! Give me all you got girly!"

He yelled, only making him look like he had a very BIG ego. Lucy knew what she had to do to win, but it would drain all her magic, she didn't know if she wanted to or not. No. She had to, she had to beat this guy, so she could help the others, even if she was low on magic power.

"Open! Gate of the twins! Gemini!"

And on command Gemini appeared as Lucy and knew exactly what to do.

"Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens...
All the stars, far and wide...
Show me thy appearance...
With such shine.
Oh Tetrabiblos...
I am the ruler of the stars...

Open thy malevolent gate.

The general was blasted up into the sky and hit the ground, hard. Lucy fell to her knees and sighed.

"That always takes a lot out of me."

She sat there for maybe thirty minutes then stood back up and joined the others in the Guild Hall. She watched as Warren raced around the Guild, telling people to look harder.

"Hey, Gray! What's Warren freaking out about?"

Lucy curiously asked Gray, who was sitting at a table, shirtless of course. Gray looked at Lucy and raised an eyebrow at her scratches and the sweat rolling down her face. She shook her head and shrugged, making Gray sigh and cross his arms.

"He's freaking out- no we're ALL freaking out because nobody knows what happened to Flamebrains. We can't see him on the map, and Warren says he's not in town, considering he can't reach him with his telepathy."

Gray admitted, only causing Lucy to become more worried about Natsu. A little bit after Gray answered Lucy's question, Happy slowly flew into the guild, breathing heavily.

"Happy!"

Everyone in the Guild turned their attention to the blue flying exceed.

"Happy, where's Natsu? Why isn't he with you?"

Erza asked, approaching him, arms crossed. Happy gulped and slowly floated down to the ground.

"He told me.. to come back here and help out. He forced me to, I couldn't say no. He told me to trust him, so I did and I flew back here. Although, it's pretty far from Magnolia, where he is, so I think it'll take him a bit to get back, but I trust that he got rid of Zer- wait... that's bad if he did..."

Happy told them, Lucy now standing next to him, looking down at him.

"What was that last part?"

Gray asked, raising a eyebrow and standing up.

"Nothing! Lets just wait until he gets back!"

Happy immediately replied, sweating, nervously. Lucy crossed her arms, but didn't think anything of it and she knew that Natsu would win. 'There is no way that Natsu can lose to Zeref.' Lucy thought. Of course, she knew that Natsu wouldn't be able to beat EVERY opponent that he came across but she knew he would NEVER give up.

"For now, lets focus our attention on getting the Alvarez armies out of Magnolia and protecting the people living here."

The Master said, the guild members nodding in agreement. They all went back to work, as Gray, Erza, Juvia, Lucy, Gajeel and a few other members went back out to the battle field.

Gildarts stomped on the brakes making Natsu almost fly out the front of the magic mobile. Natsu growled and poked his head out the window.

"Why the hell did we stop?!"

Natsu exclaimed, Gildarts replying with a point towards the now flaming town of Magnolia. Gildarts climbed off the MM and grabbed his bag from under the seat.

"We have to walk from here on."

Natsu's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe that Magnolia was RIGHT there and Gildarts said that they had to WALK the rest of the way.

"Why the hell do we have to do that?!"

He exclaimed again. Gildarts sighed and glared at Natsu.

"The Magic Mobile is too loud. We'll be seen and then attacked. With the armies on our asses, we won't get to the Guild Hall. So shut up and deal with it."

Gildarts said. Natsu gulped, he knew Gildarts was right, he was just too prideful to admit it. They started walking towards Magnolia, the sun getting to Gildarts half way there. Natsu was now walking fine, no stumbling, no tripping. While being inside that death trap, he had recovered most of his magic, due to the food that Gildarts had in his bag. As they walked on, loud ass fucking explosions could be heard and seen. They got closer and closer to Magnolia, Natsu's ears hurting more and more each step, due to the loud explosions and his super hearing. Gildarts apparently didn't mind the noise, based on the fact that he didn't flinch, nor cover his ears, or show any attention to them AT ALL.

"I'm back."

Natsu said, as he entered the town of Magnolia with Gildarts, who smiled and then glared at the small groups of Alvarez soldiers who were loitering around the streets.

"Natsu, you go and head to the Guild Hall. I'm gonna take care of these God damn bakas."
(baka's? Idk)

Natsu nodded and ran off to the Guild Hall, while Gildarts, destroyed almost half of an entire street, just to get rid of three guys...😰

Lucy, Gray and Juvia hid behind a large boulder/ piece of debris. Lucy caught her breath as Gray watched the five generals pass the boulder and didn't notice them.

"That was close."

Juvia said, Gray and Lucy nodding in agreement.

"Those guys were tough. Plus, we're pretty low on magic power right now, so THAT doesn't make it any easier."

Gray stated. Lucy sighed as she watched and heard loud explosions in the distance.

"Well, that's Erza."

They all said, laughing quietly afterwards. Juvia smiled and sighed.

"Juvia hopes that Fairy Tail wins, so we can go back to living our 'normal' lives. Well as normal as they can get."

She said, giggling. Lucy violently nodded and then slid down the rock and onto the ground. Gray leaned against the rock and took a deep breath.

"Everybody run! This guys a MONSTER!"

An Alvarez general screamed as he ran for his life? Lucy, Gray and Juvia peeked out from behind the boulder to inspect the situation as millions of the enemies ran past them, screaming bloody murder. Even generals were running, running from the scorching hot flames, being shot at them.

"FIRE DRAGON RROOAARR!!"

Lucy froze, she knew that voice. How could she ever forget it? Even Gray and Juvia tensed up and went wide eyed. Fire erupted from every corner of the battle field, causing smoke to cover the WHOLE battle field. Alvarez soldiers and generals were burnt and unconscious on the ground, though a lot still stood and were very able to fight.

"It has to be him."

Lucy and Gray said, looking into the cloud of smoke. The silhouette of a man could CLEARLY be seen. His spiky hair also very obvious. As the smoke cleared, the salmon of the spiky haired, onyx eyed, fire breathing boy could be seen on the top of his head. A cheeky smirk, plastered on his face, his eyes narrowed and glaring at the soldiers of the enemy empire.

"YEAH! YOU BETTER RUN! I SCARED YOU LEADER! OH SORRY I MEAN LORD!"

Natsu yelled at the remaining men, who all scoffed at his statement, but the conversation was cut short due to a dark presence lingering in the air.

"Don't get me wrong, you are strong Natsu. However, you still lack the power to kill me, nor lethally harm me."

That voice sent shivers up everyone's spine as Natsu tensed up and clenched his fists. A cloud of black dust surrounded Natsu as a figure formed in front of it.

"You must become stronger Natsu. If you do not, then you will NEVER beat me, little brother."

Zeref said, slightly smirking at the fact that he is superior.

"DO NOT CALL ME
YOUR LITTLE BROTHER!"

Natsu yelled, from inside the cloud of blackness. Zeref sighed, glancing over at Gray, Juvia and-

"You must be Layla's daughter. It's a pleasure and a honor to finally meet-"

Zeref was then interrupted by Natsu breaking through the cloud and charging at him.

"How rude."

Zeref avoided the attack with ease, only making Natsu mad.

"Yes, get mad and let him in! Let the demon inside take control Natsu!"

Zeref cheered, evading Natsu's attacks, again with ease. Lucy watched as Natsu recklessly threw punches and kicks. She watched as Zeref easily avoided Natsu's attacks and continued to say to let the inner demon take control.

"Gray. Juvia. And Lucy. Stay out of this. Or you'll just end up getting hurt."

Natsu warned, causing Gray to scoff and roll his eyes.

"Like hell we're staying out-"

"JUST LISTEN TO ME
THIS ONE TIME!"

Natsu interrupted. Gray took a step back, grabbed Juvia's hand and then put a hand on Lucy's shoulder.

"Come on. Lets listen to him."

Gray told Lucy, only to get his hand pushed off and Lucy walking closer to Natsu and Zeref.

"I'm not leaving."

She calmly stated. Gray tried to grab her hand and pull her back, but Zeref was faster. He surrounded her in a cloud of black dust like he did to Natsu, and floated her closer to himself.

"LUCY/ LUCE!"

Gray, Juvia and Natsu yelled, only making Zeref's smirk grow.

"Come. TRY to save her little brother. She only has thirty-five minutes."

Zeref said, infuriating Natsu.

"I'll try and I'll succeed! You shouldn't have messed with Lucy! THAT WAS YOUR LAST MISTAKE!"

Natsu screamed at Zeref, who smirked again and clenched his fists.

Natsu must fight to save Lucy. If he doesn't beat Zeref within 35 minutes, Lucy dies. If he does, then Natsu dies. Which will he choose? Or which one will his friends choose?
