Daryl's POV

What the fuck was I thinking? I'm letting my guard down, I can't believe I even agreed to come with them today. I'd been asked by Travis to keep her and Liam out of the house. They had some disagreement with someone and I'm pretty sure they were gearing up for a fight. I suggested that Liam shouldn't be there again, and they both agreed. So my job today was keeping them from the house. They told me to try and keep them out till after five since everything was going down this morning.

The sunlight is fading quickly and it's just about dark, we still have a bit to go before we get to the house. Every once in a while I feel her watching me, I have to force myself not to look. She's a fucking amazing girl and I'm just going to ruin her in the end. I can tell that she feels things with me, she doesn't admit to them but I can see it in her eyes. Maybe I'm just clinging to her because for the first time in my life there's someone who actually makes me feel good. I have to end this tonight before it's too late.

I look over at her and she's staring out the window in a daze. There's this part of me that wants to reach over and touch her, but I can't. I'm leaving soon probably sometime after Christmas so I can't lead her on. She may act like what we have is just for fun, but I can see right through her she wants more and I'm not ready to give it.

She catches me staring and looks at me. I turn my eyes back to the road and grip the steering wheel hard. A popping noise startles me as the car starts to wobble. I hold it steady and pull off to the side of the road. I hope she has a spare. I pop the trunk and get out without a word to check. I hear her open the door to inspect her car. I grab all the things I need and walk over to the front passenger tire. She reaches for the flashlight in my hand and holds it so that I can fix this and get us out of here. I can tell she wants to say something, but she doesn't. She stands there quietly while I work.

Rolling the tire to the back she quietly follows me as I put things away, and hands me the flashlight to put back. I shut the trunk and she's standing there leaning against the car staring off into the distance. I walk over and before I can say anything she grabs the front of my leather jacket and pulls me into her. I'm fucking hard instantly as I feel her against me. I'm turned on by the hungry look on her face. Thankfully Liam is still peacefully sleeping in the back because right there on the side of the road she grabs me. I look into her eyes and moan softly as I place my hands gently on her hips. She's hard to resist so I give in and kiss her. It's not just a simple kiss either I ram my tongue down her throat as she moans into my mouth. I know she's enjoying this so I press myself into her and she moans again. Her hands wrap around my neck as her lips touch my jaw. I tense because I'm trying not to come in my damn pants. I push her away slightly and she looks offended. She crosses her arms and is about to storm off when I grab a hold of her wrist.

"Later," I hiss into her ear.

She looks at me without a smile and nods her head. I watch as she gets into the car and slams the door shut. Fuck! Ending this is going to be harder than I thought.
