This is what is known as an I Am Poem. I wrote this in the 6th grade and over 7 years later, I still have it laying amongst my other work. Enjoy.

I wonder why I was born
I hear noises in my head
I see people all around me
I want to be recognized
I Am Confused

I pretend to be cool
I feel pain
I touch nature
I worry about it vanishing
I cry with the rain
I Am Scared

I understand my role
I say nothing
I dream about my future
I try to believe in myself
I hope to achieve all that I can
I Am a Believer
