I sat in the living-room talking to Ren. Liem watched from the doorway as his 'friend' Fiona took Aki into a room to privately take care of her wounds. 

"I know you want to talk to her immediately, but you have to trust me. She has been through a very traumatic experience, and if we push her she may never speak again." I said softly, laying a hand on Ren's arm. 

Ren shot me an annoyed look. I looked around the room toward the door where Aki was having her wounds dressed. Liem sighed and walked into the kitchen. I waited till he left.

"Look I don't exactly trust Liem's new 'friend' either, but nobody else has the medical expertise and we can't exactly go to the hospital." I placated Ren.

"Could you go watch Aki at least? I'd rather have somebody in there that she knows better." He said brokenly.

"Okay." I said headed off to the door. I knocked softly.

"Who is it?" Fiona asked annoyance lacing her tone.

"It's me Keyland." I said softly.

"What do you want?" She hissed.

"Aki's brother wants me to stay with her..." I said confidently. 

"..." Fiona angrily opened the door. She hostilely gestured to a chair. I sat down, feeling vaguely like a scolded child. She closed the door again and resumed bandaging Aki's torn back. Aki shot me an awkward look. We sat in silence as Fiona did her job.

 I studied her for a moment. She looked more like my mother than I did. With cool blue eyes and chocolate brown hair.

 She finished up and with one final glare at me she left the room.

"Naze kanojo wa anata o nikunde iru nodesu ka?" (Why does she hate you?)

"Shirimasen!" ( I don't know.) I said. "Ogenkidesuka?" (How are you doing?)

"Watashi wa zenshin o kizutsukeruga, ima wa motto anzenda to omou." (My whole body hurts, but I guess I am safe now) She sighed.

"Anata wa ima anzendesu" (You are safe now) "Ima suimin" (Sleep now.) 

I smiled leaving the room.

"She is okay and will probably sleep for the afternoon." I told Ren closing the door behind me."

Thank you Keyland-San."

"You are very welcome Mr. Ren."

Moriarty smiled to himself as he watched the news.

'Gas leak baker street.' Flashed at the top of the screen. Ah ordinary people were so suggestible. Nobody who knew anything would believe that. Oh this would be fun! What a way to get Keyland!

He got up from his chair with a sigh and walked over to his laptop. He opened the tab that had the view from the camera at Keyland's house, and watched as she gently spoke to Ren.

Moriarty sighed. This game would take a while to pick up the pace. He would go make himself some tea...
