Power On! Love?

(Fluff warning!)

Ice smiled as he watched the others. Lapis and Wendy sat beside him as they watched them work with Marcus. He was shaking as he tried to cast a small ball of light. Ice huffed.

"I don't know if they even know what they're doing." Wendy glanced at him as he sat down.

"What do you mean by that?" He opened his palm and a light appeared in his hand.

"I know Rednal trained under Cedar a little bit. So he should know to let the magic flow and to not push it out." He closed his hand, making the light vanish. "But I don't want to go correct them..." Wendy paused at his words.

"How well of a mage are you?" He hummed as he let a small twister of wind, snow and ice fill his hand.

"That depends on what you mean. I am experienced in what my parents are able to do, but lack in the warmth of the spells. I have my weak points. It hurts to admit them since I want to let the world know I'm better than what I showed. But that might never happen..." He lowered his head as the others giggled at Marcus's attempts. The LK hissed in reply as Ice looked up and sent the twister as a small breeze to the group. They shuddered before turning to him. "Stop torturing him and let me try. You can come over here, Marcus." Marcus smiled and went over as the others drifted off into their own conversation.

"Thanks for that..." Ice smiled lightly at his words.

"Of course. Anything to help a friend." Wendy hummed.

"I don't get you people." Marcus sat down as the other LKs practiced their magic. Ice let a soft light wrap around his hand as he watched.

"The only person that doesn't make sense is Lapis." Lapis chuckled weakly at his words.

"Is it because my memories are screwed up?"

"Dude, you can remember the first time your mom destroyed us at Spell Jeopardy, but can't remember how we got separated."

"Look, I'm sorry. But go blame the guy that wiped me clean."

"Please tell me that if someone throws a curveball and asks who your first kiss was, you can answer it." Lapis paused and stared at him. "I'll take that as a no. Great." Lapis blinked.

"Wasn't it a kid named Lillie?" Ice busted out laughing. "Amy? Lidia?" Ice grabbed his mouth as Wendy and Marcus chuckled at the exchange. "Do you know who it was?"

"Yes..." Ice said softly as he regained his breathing. "I know exactly who it was... and the sad part was that Cedar witnessed it with me." Lapis froze.

"That doesn't make this any better!"

"It does actually because then he doesn't feel bad."

"Who was it? Tell me."

"Uh... later. Too many people. The person told anyone who witnessed it that they weren't allowed to tell unless in absolute privacy."

"You're a jerk."

"You're the one that forgot."

"I-" Ice broke the barrier of his mouth and busted out laughing at the smaller VK's distress. "Hush."

"Anyways..." Marcus cut through their argument. "You were willing to help?" Ice nodded.

"One thing about magic, Marcus, is that no matter what kind it is, it will listen if you listen. Cedar, a well known caster that knows how to do that, told me to never force the magic. Let it flow and spells will be a breeze." Marcus paused as he brought out the light. "Don't even focus on it. Think about it for a minute and then let your mind drift." Marcus hummed.

"You make it look easy."

"You should've been there when I was first learning. I kept falling asleep." Lapis bit his lip as Ice huffed. "Lapis I swear..."

"The fact that the picture just crossed my mind..."

"Shut up." Marcus gulped as he held out his hand. A soft light came from it. He shuddered as he looked at the others. Ice had dropped his light as he bickered with Lapis. The dark haired male seemed unfazed by his attempts as they threw insults. Wendy moved beside Marcus as he sighed.

"Morons..." Wendy smiled.

"Agreed..." He sighed as he looked at the light. Shockingly, it hadn't vanished or anything like that. He was surprised that it worked. Wendy smiled at the sight. "He wasn't wrong about that."

"Yeah... but I know where my weak point is. My parents haven't given me anything that says I'm even a LK. They haven't stopped by in who knows how long to give me my stuff. I've been working without it for so long..." She hummed as the other two joined them.

"Trust me, Marcus. You have no idea how long it took some people to get theirs." Marcus gulped.

"I know Rednal had to wait until he was pulled out of the team he was in to get his." Lapis gulped.

"Dude, I had to look like a moron to get mine." Ice giggled.

"He really did. His parents sent in a signal that only him and, with luck, Midnight could hear. He then had to slip out of his base, and go find out that they wanted to give him his VK crystal and memories. It was hilarious." Lapis huffed lightly at that.

"Trust me. Hopefully your parents won't do that." Wendy hummed.

"You two are like alternate personas. One has a good guy outside with a bad guy inside and the other is flipped." Ice chuckled.

"I bet you guys wouldn't believe me if I told who his first kiss was." Lapis scoffed.

"I won't even believe it..." Ice chuckled as he whipped his face. Wendy hummed.

"Can I take a guess?"

"Go right ahead." Lapis winced lightly. Wendy chuckled.

"The person wouldn't happen to be sitting next to him, would they?" She and Marcus moved away from them as their faces heated up.

"Wait..." Ice looked away as Lapis gulped.

"I blame Cedar for pushing me!"

"What?!"

"It's... uh... complicated... I will explain it... uh... later... but Cedar did provoke it!"

"Why?!"

"I don't know! You go ask him!" Wendy and Marcus were busting out laughing at the duo's distress.

"You two are adorable." Lapis's face went into a deeper shade of red.

"Shut up!" Ice gulped.

"This isn't funny..." Wendy giggled as the others went over. Seafoam hummed.

"What's going on?" The duo lowered their heads as Wendy paused.

"These two are sorting out things." They flinched.

"Shut up!" Marcus snickered at their combined attempt at silencing the sky ranger.

"You two are adorable. Just admit it." Lapis's face heated up.

"Don't side with her!" Ice looked away as the others laughed. "Hush!"

"No offence dude, but you guys aren't any better no matter what the chances are." Lapis opened his mouth to counter when Ice jabbed his side. Lapis yelped as Ice hissed quietly into his ear.

"Shut up. We're better quiet than fighting back. Besides, your sexuality is showing majorly."

"Not my fault. You started it." Lapis hissed back. Seafoam hummed.

"What all are you two hiding?" Lapis gulped.

"Well shit..." Ice huffed lightly.

"I got an idea... just give me a minute." He stood up as he took a deep breath. A smile crossed his face as he helped the bluenette up. Lapis caught a small bit of mischief in his gaze as he took a step away from the group. "You guys really want to know?"

"No... but surprise us anyways." Ice laughed as the air got cold.

Ice: "They say I'm trouble.
They say I'm bad.
They say I'm evil.
That makes me glad."

Lapis smiled at that as he took over.

Lapis (Both):"A dirty no good
(Down to the bone.)
Your worst nightmare.
Can't take me home."

Ice (Both): "So, I got some mischief
In my blood.
Can you blame me?
(I never got no love.)"

Lapis: "They think I'm callous.
A low-life hood.
I feel so useless.
Misunderstood.
Hey, yeah.

Ice smiled as he took over.

Ice: "Mirror, mirror on the wall,"

Lapis: "Who's the baddest of them all?"

Both: "Welcome to my wicked world,
Wicked world.

I'm rotten to the core.
Rotten to the core.
I'm rotten to the core.
Who could ask for more?
I'm nothing like the kid next—
Like the kid next door.
I'm rotten to the core.
I'm rotten to the core.

Lapis scoffed.

Lapis: "Listen up now!
Call me a schemer.
Call me a freak.
How can you say that?
I'm just unique."

Ice danced behind him with a smile.

Ice: "What me a traitor?
Ain't got your back?
Are we not friends?
What's up with that?"

Lapis got in front of Ice and smiled lightly.

Lapis: "So I'm a misfit.
So I'm a flirt.
I broke your heart.
I made you hurt."

Ice pushed him away with a smirk.

Ice: "Past is past.
Forgive, forget.
The truth is
You ain't seen nothin' yet!"

Lapis: "Mirror, mirror on the wall,"

Ice: "Who's the baddest of them all?"

Both: "Welcome to my wicked world,
Wicked world.

I'm rotten to the core.
Rotten to the core.
I'm rotten to the core.
Who could ask for more?
I'm nothing like the kid next—
Like the kid next door.
I'm rotten to the core
I'm rotten to the core"

They smiled as they eyed each other. They circled each other as the sound continued from the spirits and lights that escaped their hands.

Spirits and Lights: "Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh."

Ice: "Original."

Spirits and Lights: "Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh."

Lapis: "Unusual."

Spirits and Lights: "Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh."

Ice: You can say what you want,
But we will always be..."

Lapis: "Rotten to the core.
Rotten to the core."

Ice: "Rotten to the core.
Who could ask for more?"

Lapis: "I'm nothing like the kid next—
Like the kid next door."

Ice: "I'm rotten to the...
I'm rotten to the..."

Both: "I'm rotten to the core.
Rotten to the core.
I'm rotten to the core.
Who could ask for more?
I'm nothing like the kid next—
Like the kid next door.
I'm rotten to the core.
I'm rotten to the core."

The group applauded the duo, causing them to blush.

"Why don't you guys show these skills often?"

"Shut up, Wendy!" The group laughed at the duo's distress as Lapis looked away, his face the color of a tomato. Ice's wasn't any farther from the color. Wendy hummed.

"You guys make it so easy. How can we not torture you guys when you do something like this?" Ice's face reached the tomato color as Lapis squeaked lightly.

"H-hush!"

Lapis and Ice were still up sorting through equipment while the others rested. The moon gazed through the window as Lapis hummed.

"So... first kiss, huh?" Ice nodded bitterly.

"Yeah... I believe I admitted it to you the first day of the Isle Vurdering og ferieuke. We were meeting each other, I was in my normal form and how I introduced made you pause." Lapis gulped.

"Dude, my memories haven't sorted out that far." Ice smiled.

"I had said 'Hi, I'm Ice. I'm the child of Elsa and Jack frost. I'm also the kid that stole your first kiss. Nice to meet you.' and you stared at me for a good minute before you went red." Lapis paused as he turned to the ice mage.

"What do you mean by normal form?" Ice gulped.

"Did I say that?"

"Yes." Ice let out a nervous breath.

"Well... back then, I would change forms to hide the fact that I was really a LK. I used to say that I was the sibling of the original form and that the others couldn't make it. I also lied about my parents so that I didn't get bullied by the anti-Lightwing group in the school. I used to say that I was the child of Lucifer and Felicia to throw people off. Luckily, all the teachers knew so I could make it successfully through school. But Cedar and the others found out and got the truth out of me. You were the only one until Cedar pushed me into you and got me to get to know you. It was awkward knowing that we were both gay and without a mate." Lapis blushed.

"Is that why you kissed me?" Ice flinched.

"No... Cedar had a crush on you, But he didn't want to steal your first kiss. So he had me do it. He pushed me on top of you and then made the excuse that he tripped." Lapis hummed as he looked at his hands.

"It hurts not remembering it..." Ice hummed as he slipped over. Lapis didn't notice until Ice turned him around. His face heated up. "I-ice?"

"Then let me remind you..." Lapis opened his mouth to question it when their lips touched. Lapis's mind went blank for a moment as he tried to process the scene. Ice pulled away. "Anything?" Lapis blinked away the daze and covered his face.

"I-" He rubbed his face briefly and looked into Ice's blue eyes. "I... uh..." Ice smiled as he watched Lapis struggle. "H-hush..." He looked away with a red face. Ice hummed calmly as he lifted Lapis's gaze to his. Lapis gulped nervously.

"You good?"

"Uh.... yeah..." Ice paused as he leaned a little closer. His face went redder as he tried to pull away. Ice chuckled.

"You're adorable when you're on the bottom, you know that?" Lapis let out a nervous breath at his words.

"Y-yeah...?" Ice smiled at that.

"Don't be nervous."

"Dude, just about anyone can top me. This isn't fair."

Ice chuckled again as he pulled him into another kiss. This time, Lapis joined in. He pushed in and took over the dominance. Ice gasped gently as Lapis pushed him into another table and slipped his tongue in. Ice shuddered as he tried to regain the dominance. They separated and huffed gently. Ice looked into Lapis's soft eyes as they panted faintly.

"Look who pulled that off." Lapis huffed lightly as he blushed.

"Hey, you're not any better as a top." Ice went red at his words.

"W-we... uh... should get back to work..." Lapis chuckled at his nervousness and neared his face.

"You're adorable as a bottom."

Ice went red as their lips collided again. Ice pushed back and into their original spot. A gasp escaped Lapis as Ice took the dominance again and slipped his tongue in. Lapis struggled as he battled Ice before letting him take over again. Ice explored his mouth with a hum. Their tongues danced as Lapis tried again. Ice had to shift his head to keep the dominance. They finally separated for air. Lapis placed his head on Ice's shoulder as he caught his breath. Ice huffed lightly.

"Screw you, Ice." Ice laughed lightly as he patted his back.

"You started it."

"No, you started it. I just gave you a bloody challenge." Ice purred as he nuzzled Lapis's neck. The ranger flinched and took a shaky breath at his actions. Ice chucked at that.

"You're too easy, Lapis."

"S-shut up..." Ice pulled back to look him in the eye. They were faint from the use of energy trying to go against him. Ice smiled.

"You know, when we get the others back, do you think they'll say anything?"

"I hope not, but I don't honestly know." Ice purred lightly.

"We'll have to find out. In the meantime, we have time till morning." Lapis went red as their lips touched again. He pushed his tongue through and they danced in a battle for dominance. Lapis growled lightly as he took over, making Ice quiver. Ice quickly regained the dominance with a quick shifting of pushing him onto the table and getting on top of him. Lapis gasped at that before pulling away.

"Yeah, that's if you stay awake long enough. I'll have a chance." Ice opened his mouth to counter when Lapis flipped them over. Ice went red as tiredness hit him.

"No fair... Lapis... you trained yourself to get used to this..." Lapis purred as their lips touched again and their tongues battled. Lapis pulled away as Ice weakly huffed.

"Yeah yeah yeah... go to sleep, Ice. I'll see you after sunrise." Ice murmured something as Lapis kissed him again. Ice hummed weakly as he drifted off. Lapis pulled away and smiled. He picked him up and took him to his room.

~~~
Ice opened his eyes as a loud sound filled the air. He paused as he processed what had happened. His face went red before he got up. Lapis must've changed him as he found himself in his pjs. It didn't make Ice feel any better, but at least he knew what happened. He got dressed and went out. Lapis was grabbing his ears as Spenser and Barlow collided. Sven rubbed his back as the others attempted to separate them. Sven smiled at Ice as he sat down beside them.
"How'd you sleep?" Ice shrugged.
"Decent." He glanced at Lapis as he flinched at the argument. "What is their problem?"
"Rivalry. I'm about to split it up. We don't have Cedar or Crepe, but I know what I'm doing. I just need someone to calm Lapis down." Ice gulped at his words.
"I'll take him..." He took the bluenette as Sven nodded at him. As he went over, Ice looked at Lapis. The bluenette smiled lightly at him.
"Hey..." Ice smiled at him as he pulled him into a back hug. "How'd you sleep?"
"Better than most nights. Did you get me into bed?"
"Yeah... sorry if it was uncomfortable..." Ice nuzzled the back of his neck, getting a soft sound out of him. "I-i-ice..." Ice hummed.
"What? Did I find a sensitive spot?" Lapis went red as Ice kept going.
"K-knock it off..." Ice smiled as the loud argument went quiet.
"Hey, at least I distracted you." Lapis shuddered at the tone of Ice's voice as he pulled out of his grasp.
"Thanks..." He stretched as the two base leaders huffed away from each other. Ice smiled as he stood up beside Lapis.
"That was also to thank you for last night." He whispered softly into his ear, getting a red face from Lapis as he walked over to the kitchen area of the hut. Lapis gulped as he rubbed his face.
