It was a cold Autumn day and Rebecca had just finished school and she was walking home with her best friend Bailey
"So Rebecca got your eye on anyone?" Bailey said with an joking tone
"Nope not yet all the guys in our school are jerks" she said laughing, Bailey laughed too in agreement
As they walked home gossiping Rebecca got a notification on Snapchat saying someone added her
"What's that?" Bailey asked, Rebecca didn't answer she was thinking about what could happen if she added them back, he could be her soulmate or just a normal guy asking for nudes.
"Hello Rebecca" bailey said trying to get Rebecca's attention,
"A guy called Jaime Johnston added me on snap should I add him back?" Rebecca replied with a worried tone. "Duh what if he's your one true love and he could be hot" Bailey said with excitement, "I'll do it when we get home I've got no data" Rebecca said trying to avoid the subject. As soon as Rebecca got home she noticed her dad was drunk again,he has been an alcohol most of her life and she's used to it now, it's her everyday life. She ran up to her room with out even thinking to check on her dad as soon as she threw her self on her bed she went on her phone and added Jaime back. She waited and waited for him to message her first until her phone buzzed, it was just Bailey asking if she had added him back Rebecca replied back saying "yes I did he hasn't said anything though I'll just wait" as soon as she sent the text she turned off her phone and did her homework, Rebecca was semi popular in school she had a lot of friends and all the teachers loved her, she was the kindest person in school. It was 21:34 and she was getting ready to go to bed when Jaime had finally messaged her, she was so nervous to see what he said her emotions went up and down like a roller-coaster, 10 minutes had past and she was still thinking about what he's said it could be him asking for nudes and she was not going through that again. another 10 minutes had past and she made the decision to open it
"Hey" she let out a big sigh of relief
"Thank god" she said to herself, she decided to reply to him
"Hi" a normal hi, casual. He replied with in seconds
"I'm just gonna be bold what do you look like?" She thought to herself wow very bold she let out a small giggle she felt happy which was strange for Rebecca. She sent him a cute photo of herself and said,
Rebecca: Aha very bold but here this is what I look like what about you?
Jaime: wow your really pretty, here this is what I look like
"Wow he's gorgeous I gotta show Bailey" she said to her self as she messaged her best friend
As soon as Bailey read the message she called Rebecca straight away.
"OMG GIRL HES SMOKING HOT" was all Rebecca heard when she answered the phone
"Omg clam down I know he's gorgeous ain't he" Rebecca replied giggling away
"Girl if you don't make some moves I'm gonna steal his snap from you" Bailey confidently said
"Okok I'll go talk to him I'm hanging up on you now, I'll see you tomorrow at school"  Rebecca informed her friend. Rebecca hung up on Bailey and messaged jaime being flirtatious,
"Your gorgeous where do you live?" Rebecca felt confident with her message and waited for a reply,
"Why thank you, I'm from Manchester wbu?"
As soon as she opened that message she didn't know what to reply with, she was shocked Manchester was so far from Edinburgh. She left the messages for a wee minute and then decided to reply,
"Woah that's far from me I'm from Edinburgh!" She was a bit upset that they lived so far from each other but she could use this as an excuse to move away from her dad, even though she loved him very much she couldn't live this life anymore being abused  by her own father, tears shedded from her eyes thinking about this, she looked down at her phone to see that he replied
"Hey that's not far it could work" she felt happiness burst through her and had the biggest smile on her face, they spoke for hours and she couldn't wait to tell Bailey all about their conversation. It was 01:12 and they both had school next morning
"I'm gonna go to bed I've got school in the morning and an exam to study for"
"Alright beautiful have a good sleep we will talk tomorrow"
Her face lit up she was so happy she had met him, she couldn't stop thinking about him, he was perfect and amazing he made Rebecca feel something she never felt before and it was great. She couldn't wait to talk to him again!
