My Godmother just told me today "success is not determined by education. Success is determined by your experiences and what you take from them."

I think that's profound because it's not what I'm usually taught. We're always told "go to school, education is important, you can't go anywhere without a degree.

"You need social skills. You can have all the book smarts and knowledge in the world and that still don't mean anything if you can't talk to people."
