Wind carry me away to a place well known

Where I retreat into a space of my own

A place where dreams become reality

A place I have made up many fantasies

Wind carry me away to grass so green

On the other side of the fence I see

To the place where flowers bloom year-round

To the place where my feet never touch the ground

Wind take me away from this dreary dark

From the sleepless nights and the constant hum

Silence these thoughts that sound in my head

So that maybe I can become whole again

Wind blow away the problems I face

Take them to new heights to evaporate

Make them leave to a place far from here

Where I have learned my lessons and now have no fear

Wind take me away to a place like thus

Where my smile is frequent and my frown is not

A place where I don't have to battle myself

A place that is not my own living hell
