Motivation:

Wishes to become a famous dancer, both on land and sea. She wants to make a lot of friends as well. She wants to find a way to provide for herself and her family. She also wants to marry Azul with the help of the twins and Rielle.

Personality:

Cautious but driven. She is stubborn when it comes to proving her point and getting what she wants.She is jealous of those who have a voice, but she also feels self-conscious and a burden for her lack of having a voice. She doesn't waste money and other resources growing up with little money. She works hard on her dancing and does her best at school. She may not be the best at academics, but she prides herself on skills at dancing. She can play the part of the weak, defenseless little, deaf girl to trick people to doing what she needs.She doesn't have many friends until after the talent show. She is close with Neige and is a simple to a good friend to Rielle. The twins respect her and enjoy her and her orders. She adores and loves Azul for who he is and doesn't mind spoiling him and showering him with her love. She is very protective of younger siblings and wishes the best for them by working hard and lightening their loads. She works very hard to the point where she does exhaust herself and needs to rest for a day.

Backstory:

Her family is poor, but they were able to send her and her siblings to school. As a result, she often looks after her siblings and works around the house. As got older, she got a few odd jobs in her neighborhood to help pay off stuff at home. She's not the best at academics, but she tries her best. She enjoys history and literature the most. She is a talented dancer and hopes to become famous to help her family. She and Floyd attended the same dancing school. Floyd was impressed with her dancing skills as well as her strength to even remember her later on. As a result, she is able to attend Royal Sword, but it is through a scholarship where she must perform and score higher than 3rd in her competitions.

Relationships:

Caspian + Laharika:

She loves her parents very much and dreams of having a similar relationship with Azul. They always loved and cared for her, even after discovering she could no longer hear their voices. They were patient and gentle with her, even though they would be very busy with supporting their family. She stepped up and wants to thank her parents for loving and supporting her. She works hard at school, her dances, and does whatever odd job she can to help them.Caspian was the most worried when he discovered his daughter could not hear anymore. However, when she started to dance, he was elated! He encouraged and supported her dancing career and even paid for her teachers with the extra money he had. He is so proud and worried for his daughter. He is proud of how hard she works and how she pours herself into doing her best, but he also wants her to be a normal teenager and have some adventures in her life. He loves his daughter so much and is happy she is getting this life. Laharika was worried, but she decided to work with her daughter to learn sign. Afterwards, she supported her daughter when it came to school. She knew it would be a challenge, but she also knew her daughter was ready for it. They would stay up and make sure they knew what the school wanted and studied together. She didn't want her daughter to ever feel ashamed about her being herself. She is the main reason Aquamarine has so much self-confidence in herself. Both parents love her and couldn't be happier with their first daughter. She works hard, doesn't cause trouble, always practices and works at her dancing, takes care of their younger kids, and even helps with some odd jobs. Though, they want her to live her life and find a happy ending, just like they did. They are relieved she is living her life and has a boyfriend! Though, Laharika is protective while Caspian likes Azul.

Cassia:

Aquamarine and Cassie are as close as sisters can be. Aquamarine knows Cassia can handle herself and do her best at school. Aquamarine is touched that Cassie learned sign language and even wants to pursue a career in languages and help others communicate. Cassie admires her big sister for working so hard and still chasing her dreams. Cassie hopes to do the same too when she grows up. Cassie looks up to her big sister for always working hard and caring for her and their youngest brother. Cassie also didn't want her big sister to feel left out for not speaking, so she picked up sign and tried her best to use it to communicate with her. After learning sign, she wants to speak many languages to not leave anyone out. She works very hard and doesn't want to give up. She sort of took her big sister's role when caring for Gabe, but she is proud to do so. Aquamarine is delighted and proud of her little sister for working so hard. She knows her little sister will achieve her dreams and never give up. Aquamarine is grateful she and her parents were able to teach this to her. Though, she does find it cute that she has a crush on Rielle, and doesn't mind letting her visit him. She knows it will pass, but for now, she doesn't mind teasing her friend.

Gabriel:

She dotes on him since he is the baby of the family and wants him to only focus on his life without having to worry too much about their finances. She encourages him to pursue whatever goal he desires and work hard at it. Gabe tries his best and doesn't want to burden his big sisters too much. He loves food and wants to learn as much as he can to thank his family. Aquamarine loves to hear about her younger brother's love for food and ideas on creating new dishes. She tries his dishes when he is older and whenever he helps out in the kitchen. She is impressed with his tasting abilities and interesting combinations of foods. She saves up money to buy him cooking books, so he can continue to work on his cooking skills. She also encourages him to grow his knowledge since he's very smart. Gabriel finds his big sister amazing. He cannot believe she works so hard and does her very best with her dancing. He tries to dance with her for fun and take her mind off their finances at times. He is very happy Azul is with her and does care for his big sister when he and his other big sister cannot. He loves Aquamarine and hopes she'll have her big break.

Azul:

She accepts Azul for himself and loves him. He loves her and accepts her for who she is. Both work well together and find comfort in each other. Azul is smitten with her as she is enamored with him. Since both work hard to help their families and improve themselves, they take comfort in knowing they're not alone. Both even admire and look up to their parents for their hard work and strive to make better lives for themselves and those around them. Aquamarine loves Azul's true form and how smart he is. She hopes Rielle will properly apologize to Azul for his comments and does her best to help Azul with his insecurities about his true form as he helps her with hers. She finds Azul's talent with magic wonderful and making contracts. Azul loves Aquamarine and her talents. He finds her performing and dancing fantastic. He knows she is smart when it comes to most situations she finds herself in. He can hear her true voice loud and crystal clear and knows she can speak a thousand words if she chooses to. He finds her talents in magic wonderful since he cannot compare to her illusions. They strive to make a wonderful living for themselves and their friends and families, so they work together to collect clients, put on shows, and do pretty much anything to earn their revenue. As a result, they create wonderful, complicated contracts that will benefit themselves. Never cross them, because they will find the being who crossed them. If both are every in danger, they will look out for each other. Azul does not hesitate to summon his true form while she will not hesitate to call upon her magic to freeze them in place. She will also play any part to ensure Azul is safe. If someone harms the other, they will go after them and make them suffer.

Jade:

She finds his relationship with Floyd interesting, but does relate to caring for your siblings. Since they care deeply for their siblings, they understand each other rather well. They want what is best for their siblings and to make sure they do not get in trouble nor in danger. Jade respects her as she respects him. They do tend to keep Azul and Floyd in check when both are losing their grips on reality when it comes to their daily lives. They get along better than most would believe. Jade does help her with her school work while she aids him by working in the lounge whenever she can. Both remind the other to take breaks and enjoy moments of peace. Since they are constantly working together, they do forget to take care of themselves much to Azul and Floyd's concerns. Sometimes, they do this to get their attentions and relax with them.

Floyd

Both attended the same dance school but rarely interreacted. Floyd learned she couldn't hear, so for fun at first, he learned signed to communicate with her. This left an impact on each other since they were the only ones who spoke to each other. Reuniting, both are on good terms and still enjoy each other's company. Floyd being protective and enjoying her ideas to tease Azul. She is caring towards Floyd and delights in his schemes to get out of work when he wants to. Their friendship is stronger than ever since both have a drive for adventures and teasing Azul. Besides texting Azul, she constantly texts Floyd random stuff she and he find. Together, they can cause some trouble if they so wish to. Needless to say, do not get on either's bad side. Floyd and her have a huge amount of strength that their foes will forget and be defeated by.

Rielle:

Due to the darkness' influence, she believe Rielle to be a wicked person and disliked his hatred for Azul along with his money. After he's freed from the darkness, both worked together to be better friends since they were paired by the school to dance and sing together. Rielle is an airhead and not the brightest, but she does respect his desire to improve himself and wanting to be better. He respects her drive to be a better student, dancer, and wanting to support her family. Both want to be useful to their families and do everything they can to help them. Due to this, their friendship is stronger and much better.Besides performing, they are very different. Rielle is more outgoing and wants to explore the land while Aquamarine enjoys her life at their home and Azul. Due to this difference, when practices and performances are over, they often leave and go about their days. Though, they do send a text to encourage and speak with each other. Both strive to create the best performance they can create, often using his voice, her dancing, and their magic. They push each other hard and do everything they can to support the other. As a result, they tend to overwork themselves to almost exhaustion, but they have their classmates to watch over them. When a conflict does arise, both are ready for anything. Rielle loves to go on adventures and the crazy adventures they can go on since it takes him out of his kingdom. Aquamarine would prefer to avoid conflict or find a peaceful resolution if she can. Regardless, both worked very well together and do care for each other as good friends.

Neige:

She loves Neige's covers and loves to perform with him. She does find his airheaded nature distracting, but she is happy to have an honest friend through and through. Neige loves her dancing and loves to dance with her! They work really well together to make wonderful music and performances together. Neige finds Aquamarine stronger and graceful and is proud to be a friend of hers. She cannot fathom how he has those seven little dwarves running around, but she understands his caring nature for them. She finds them as younger siblings and does what she can to help them. In a way, they do remind her of her younger siblings with their unique moods and characteristics even if she hasn't attended the same classes as them. She heard from Azul about Vil and is protective of Neige whenever he's with Vil. She does respect Vil, but she does worry about his expectations and annoyance with Neige. Although, she relates to Vil's strive to be better and hopes Neige realizes this too. In a way, she believes he does considering how much he praises Vil for his performances.

Riddle:

She is grateful Azul has another friend besides the twins. She finds Riddle to be a great friend to Azul, but she is worried if Riddle is too strict on himself and their relationships. She does enjoy their tea times. Though, she does find it surprising that he is a childhood friend of Chenya who doesn't act like him, but it helps her understand Riddle better. She is amazed at the magic he can perform and wonders if she and he can perform together with their magic. After hearing how his mother treated him, she tries to treat him to have fun and live as normal as he can. In turn, he looks after Azul for her and as a genuine friend.

Silver:

She finds the light in the sleepy knight perplexing since he serves a prince of darkness. She also finds his sleepiness a curious trait. Both are on good terms and do work together. She wonders if Silver would benefit at her school due to his affinity of light magic.

Ruggie:

Since both grew up poor and understand the need to earn money and provide for others, both are good friends. As a result, she offered Ruggie to work backstage on certain performances of hers to help him. As for Ruggie, he would help her score performances in their hometown to earn some money. Though, Ruggie knows better than to upset her as she knows better than to overwork him. As a result, they have a good understanding. Ruggie also does not wish to upset her for fear of those twins coming after him. Though, she reassures him that they will not go after him, but she's a little nervous around Leona for being another prince. Ruggie reassures her that Leona is a softy and lazy lion. As a fun pastime, both would share up money and go for a meal if they can. They get along much better than those would believe since she also has to keep an eye out for Rielle. He may not be like Leona, but Rielle gets himself into trouble for them which she honestly doesn't mind as much as she lets on. Ruggie notices this too and agrees that he likes the adventures he goes on with Leona too.

Jamil

Jamil believes she could date someone better, but he does not say this aloud. He respects her for caring for her younger siblings since he does the same for Najma. He understands her care for her younger siblings and helps her with them too. Both tend to relate when their friends discuss money or making more, but they do care for them in the end. Both love to dance and would perform together if they can. Whenever Kalim throws a party. Jamil would slyly mention to invite her to perform. Both take of her clothes and pay her as she performs to her best ability. Both are good friends since they also care for their friends who are basically royalty or royalty. Though, they handle it differently, they know they can depend on each other. He does tease Azul for not being able to dance well, but he also knows when it is enough. Azul being pouted allows her a chance to comfort Azul, but she will tease Jamil about Najma's relationship with Ace, much to his annoyance. Jamil is cautious if Azul is ever talked about. Aquamarine knows this since Azul informed her that he ruined Jamil's plan. Despite that, they're good friends and understand each other very well.

Kalim:

Finds her dancing with Jamil amazing and invites her to dance with him. Of course, if he invites Aquamarine, he knows to invite Rielle, Azul, and the twins. Kalim's friendship with Rielle and Aquamarine allows them to be closer as a result too which she is relieved by Kalim. He also knows to prepare an outfit for her and pay. He is thinking of having her work at the palace to perform, but he also knows she wants to stay with Azul. Kalim loves to dance with her which she is delighted by to have more dance with her. Together and with their unique magics, they can create a wonderful performance filled with water. Aquamarine finds Kalim similar to Rielle and Neige, but she doesn't ask why he doesn't transfer schools. She enjoys Kalim's parties, because she is allowed to dance in her own manner. Both also strive to be the best for their families and younger siblings. They want to be the best older siblings, so they take it as a source of strength for each other.

Najma:

Aquamarine finds Najma a fun girl and can't help but dot on her like she does with her younger siblings. Najma finds Aquamarine a fresh change from her big brother at times. Najma adores her with Azul, much to Jamil's disappointment. Aquamarine views Najma as another little sister and does her best to listen and give the best advice as she can. Besides her big brother, Najma would go to Aquamarine for advice if she's available. Najma needs another girl's input from time to time about boys and how to deal with them and sometimes their lack of common sense. It is hard to do that when her big brother is always busy and over protective.

Yuu + Grim:

She is impressed that Yuu is magicless and can handle the cat, her friends, and the rumored of Overblots occurring at the school. She does find Yuu as a strong lady and quick on her feet. She has also heard that it was Yuu who stopped her boyfriend, making Aquamarine impressed with her. Yuu loves her dancing and knows how hard she must've worked to have her skills. Although, she is cautious of Aquamarine since she uses her performing skills to her advantage and with Azul's support. Grim finds Aquamarine pretty and powerful, but he doesn't trust her since she's close to Azul.

Special Relationship

Lauriam:

Aquamarine is grateful Lauriam looked after Azul for their adventure and is there to offer his advice to him. Even though he tries to keep Azul from getting into trouble, it doesn't result in that. She finds Lauriam's skills with magic and his blade beautiful and strong. She also finds him graceful. Lauriam finds Aquamarine lonely and smart. He is grateful she is there for Azul and Rielle when he cannot. Although, she reminds him of Elrena's quick and snappy nature. He also finds her dedication to her family an admirable since he cares for his little sister so much.

Elrena:

Aquamarine finds her quick and loud as well as mischievous as those twins. She knows Elrena could easily beat those who are in her path and admires that. She is aware of her softer side for her friends and Lauriam and finds relief in that. Although, she tends to act before thinking which surprised Aquamarine. Elrena finds Aquamarine a delight since she can use her performing skills to trick others and dance elegantly. She also loves her little mischievous side that she has to restrain in order to keep things in check with her friends. Elrena hopes to have fun with her and relax.
