New Phone: I Wish She Would've Told Me That Before

(This one is an extension to my mini rant on my message board if you've read that)

*sighs*

Moms.

They're a tricky bunch, aren't they?

One minute, we love them dearly and then the next, they're looking for new ways to be a pain in the butt.

I bought this phone a month ago and I'm already running out of iCloud storage space. I thought mom and I finally found a way to work around that.

Turns out, we did not.

Come to find out, she doesn't want me using my money to pay for it (even though it's my money, but whatever). She doesn't want me using my cards. Nothing.

If I had known she wasn't going to let me pay for my iCloud storage, I never would've bought this stupid thing!

I only have about 4.9GB out of 5 so that means, for the next five years (which will be how long I'd have this phone), I have to be reeaaaaaallllyyy picky about what I take a picture of, what I save onto my phone from texts, what apps to download. Otherwise, when I get my next new phone, half the stuff won't even be backed up.

I'm just saying, it would've been nice to have a little bit of warning BEFORE I spent over a thousand dollars on a piece of junk phone.

And it's my money! I should do with it whatever the hell I want!

I get that she's trying to keep my money safe and that she's thinking of her sister who's a banker and she knows about all the ways scammers work. But at the same time, there's no way around it! Unless Apple gift cards work but what they don't?

Ugh!

I wish I would've known she was going to be this strict with this phone!
